Just IMO.....unless you *want* to be a scrapper, it's best to go with a Stalker that can dish the damage. DB is better at longer fights. Depending on your secondary, it might be a moot point.

"easy mode" secondary is ninjitsu. You can get some serious Def, plus a heal, plus some extra toys to play with. I couldn't do any other secondary now cuz that one spoiled me.
My cons for some of the others include:
SR - Nothing really special in it IMO
Regen - You're going to get hit a lot. Just seems to go against the whole stalker thing
Dark - Personally tired of DA 
Has a lot of holes in it.
As for attacks, the only one I'd really skip over is DB as I mentioned. Claws maybe because it just doesn't feel strong enough for me for a stalker. Energy was easy mode, but I think DM would be fun and effective. I'm biased against Katana cuz of my scrapper; never feels like it does enough damage compared to most other things. Spines would be effective cuz of it's debuffs.
This is all IMO for PvE only.

Nin/Nin, still named Cutter Bunny
I have a Nin/Nin at 22 now, Bunny. It works pretty good, and Nin is a solid secondary. I think most of the primaries work, from what I've been reading in the Stalker forums.
Sure, Ninja Blade has to deal with lethal resists, but it's not the end of the world. /Nin works well for scrapping (as does SR), and you can slot damage or Achilles -resist procs to make up for the resists you run into. I have a Katana and MA scrapper, both with heavily resisted damage types, and you can do fine. My Katana scrapper made it most of the way through the 40s by fighting Rikti, and the procs made it easier, and it wouldn't have been that bad no matter what.
I think Voo just likes easy mode too much. 
Oh, and I totally made my Thugs/Pain MM before Kong- he's just copying me.

My stalker is DB/nin, and she does quite well. DB gives some extra control (KB/KD) when needed. She was my favorite toon too until I made my widow. Oh well, just my two inf. Hope you all enjoy the next Iso's.
Count me in. I'm leaning towards a corr or dom. I already have an ice/cold and a fire/psi (hehe), so it will definitely be something else. Just not quite sure which yet. Although, I am leaning towards a kin.

Des, IMHO DB/WP is just asking for trouble, to make DB fun and and COMBOie you have to take quite a few of the attacks, and WP really doesn't have many skippable powers (the rez is the only one that comes to mind). THEN to really maximize a WP brute you need to pick up the fighting pool for some additional Def and Resist. I just think you will end up running out of power picks as well as slots if you make DB/WP.
PS..... yes MP is right (see rule #1) I hate DB, because its too jump/spin/flail arms wildly/spread legs. I mean if you want to RP as a kickbutt, crazy ice skater then yeah, take DB.

I think I agree with VooDoo for the most part. I love /Nin on a stalker. I think /SR is ok but a stalker does not equal a scrapper. Regen is actually pretty nice on a stalker the new MoG allows you to do alot of cool stalkerish things, like get back into hide even in the middle of an aggro'd mob, get off an AS then absorb the alpha (AS then pop MoG). I think DA actually is very viable the fear aura is nice and as pointed out by Des and others theft of essence has a great proc for Dark Regen (I think Im talking about the right power).
As for Primaries, DM really hit hard and has one of the BEST animations in the game , you shove a giant skull into someones chest/back, how awesome is that.
I think you woul enjoy a nin blade/nin stalker though, its very fun.
Meh, it's aesthetics. I like DB, but can understand how the flair can be too much for some.
Still, I have a WP/DB tanker, and while it IS tight, you can get a solid build together grabbing Tough and all the attacks.
