Jay's Costume Bug Fix List (Post Issue 14)
Halos still are not tintable. Would really like a purply black Nice halo for me villain.
Hellenic Costume Pieces (ie, sandals, toga rim, Hair pieces) In Cimerora, the citizens all have different color Hellenic Sandals. I've tried. Tried as I have, I cannot coordinate colors with things such as chains/metalic shoulder pieces/wristbands/Peak and V belts to match the same kind of gold the Hellenic costume pieces have. Is there an easy fix for this?
Or better: is there a very complex and difficult fix that only Sexy Jay is able to pull off?
PS. Thank you for giving Hair to girls with the Witch Hats! "HaHaa~~! Now you and I are not so different, are we, Kattie Hannon?"
Triumphant /em laugh
please fix short capes on the high collar for magic booster. short capes and long capes show the same length.
Ya know, with any cape working with a High Collar, why not make the high collar a shoulder piece? I think it looks great even without a cape.

And please give Bolero Fur to Tights, and Tights with skin too!
Bolero fur = Sexeh, Jay. Sexeh!
The Chain 1 Chest Detail will display at character creation and at the Facemaker but shows the Alien 1 detail when playing the actual game. I'm using Stealth -> Pattern 3 for Upper Body + Cyborg Sphere shoulders + Cyborg belt in case that is altering things.
edit: I just checked at the Facemaker and a couple other chest details seem to be failing to display in the actual game.
Setting secondary colour for CoV DVD Edition Cape will also change the trim colour of the High Collar Mantle.
1. Select "High Collar" from Back Detail - Collar menu.
2. With the 'Copy Current Colors Across Entire Body" unchecked, make sure that the primary and secondary colours for the High Collar or different.
3. Select "CoV DVD Edition Cape" from Back Detail - Cape menu.
4. Select a different secondary colour for the Cape.
Results: Changing the secondary colour for the cape (emblem,) will also change the secondary colour for the High Collar (trim.)
I was playing around with making a new character and had a trenchcoat selected before I started playing with hairstyles... When I cycled through the list and it got to the bridal veil, this is what became of my screen. No more editing for me I suppose. Clicking on the "Costume Sets" arrows brings back the other options, but I just lost everything I had previously done.

Just discovered this post, so need to chime in with one I've found on Live.
Male/Trench coat/Shoulders is missing Valkyrie 3 (It is available on both female and huge).
All Hail Jays sexay!
Sexy Jay! Sexy Jay! We have...we have an emergency!
No, no, worse than that. We have...a BLASPHEMY!
Do you see this? Do you see this?!
During run animations on the Huge model (see pics: left/bottom), the Barbaric hair style clips straight into the back of the skull--upon normal Stand-There-Like-An-Idiot idle animations, though (see: top-right), the hair hides its treachery within the subtle confines of feigned normalcy!
The Barbaric hair, that barbarian, is woefully unappreciative of your hard effort! All of those hours spent slaving away over a computer screen getting paid for by the hour and messing with top-of-the-line graphics design stuff, and for what? It DARES to clip into the skull, like some sort of malicious being with malice that can actually think?!
Smite this foe accordingly, sexy sir! Our sanctity and our purity rests upon you excising this treacherous traitor!
Need a way to remove standard ears when adding special ears (such as cat, bunny, wild cat, ect...). Most people do not want 4 ears, and it detracts from the theme of the charractor. jay is sexy

Many female shoes seem slightly too large; like the ones from the bridal and witch sets.
female cyborg hips do not scale the same way every other set does.
most female monstrous feet are also too large.
female monstrous legs look abnormal, since you cannot scale the leg length short enough to make them look right.
male monstrous legs *sometimes* usually look right however, so I think this is just a range of scaling problem.
Haven't tested this with all different pants options, but at least a few of them need some work. It appears that when the pants were modeled, the material applied was not 2-sided, so we end up being able to see through the pants when looking up the leg. It's most obvious when using powers that share Cremate's animation, where the one leg is back further, like so. It's not really that big a deal, but it should also be rather easy to fix. If you're using 3DS max, just open up the material editor and select "2-sided". Hopefully it is that easy.

Noticed tonight that what I noticed about the pants also applies to many of the Sleeveless Jacket options. Most of the newer Sleeveless Jacket options have the arm holes capped. The Baron one does not though, and you can see through from the inside (via the armhole). I don't particularly care for the capped look, since it makes it look like the Jacket is extremely thick. Of the styles that are not capped, there are some that cannot be seen through from the armhole, but it's about 50/50. Obviously the ones that are see-through are bugged, but what about the rest? Should they all be capped? If so, I'll be disappointed since I dislike that look. To me it looks like the Jacket options that are capped were made as such to avoid having to deal with seeing through the polygons from the inside. It sounds strange to me though since it should just be a matter of applying the 2-sided property to the materials. It looks like the original modeler remembered to do it half the time on the old stuff.
And yeah, I know this stuff isn't high-priority since it's not often that people try to look through other people's Jackets via their armholes... But when you have time to check it out, it shouldn't be too hard of a fix.

I'm not sure if this has been brought up before, but it's bugged me since I got my first cape sometime around Issue 8.
At the base of the back of the neck directly below the head where the cape and the neck meet there is almost always some inverted V shape clipping going on.
This is really annoying when you have on dark tights with a light colored cape.
Model: Female
Legs: Monstrous
Costume Option: Witch Bare
Trouble: The option, which was there before i15 went live, is now missing.

The Bane/Crab Spiders Costume for the VEAT on the Females, Males and huges are neckless. and disturbingly the head/helmet is floating.
When using the Leather Straps pattern on pants, you can change the color of the straps by using the secondary color. However, if you use the Leather Straps pattern on gloves or boots, the straps aren't tintable and you're stuck with the default gray.
I also feel the need to reiterate what was already stated above - when using the witch boots, the feet are way too big. I think Jay will be super sexy when I can actually put these awesome boots on a character without them looking ridiculous.
Hey Jay, any chance of you coming in and telling us you know about these bugs now and such? You know, like BAB did in the threads that he made less than a month ago.
Thanks.

I just noticed something about the motorcycle leathers (pants). The zippers that are located down near the ankles have been dislocated on the inside of the pants. Not something one would normally see, but with the particular flight emote I was using it was really obvious that the inside zippers were laying almost perpendicular to the outside zippers (and these are supposed to be one and the same zipper).
Small stuff, but there you go.
For reference, this was a female toon with flared motorcycle leathers.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed this. It's not really the size that's the problem though, it's the distorted anatomy. The toe, arch, instep and heel on all of these new booster pack shoes are frankly ugly. They are grotesquely disproportionate and misshapen. On several of the newer 'free' flat heeled models, the heel of the foot sticks out in back to a degree that makes the foot look large and awkward. ExoProto, Stealth, and Cyborg spring to mind. It's as if the rigging of the ankle joint is displaced forward over the foot by a couple of inches.
I have not bought any of the booster packs since Cyborg, having been somewhat disappointed with its quality in the modeling department, but I have seen many toons in the game with the aforementioned shoes, and I must say I don't like the way any of them look. The instep - the part between the ball of the foot and the ankle, is far too long. There are lots of womens shoe styles that have ridiculously long, pointed toes, but not a long instep. That just makes them look freakish and wrong.

When did the option to generate a random costume get removed from the Tailor? I never used that function, but decided to make the most of the new Super Tailor and created a toon that was supposed to radically change his appearance on a whim, and I had planned on the randomizer to get particularly oddball costume combinations.
Now that I want to use that function, I can't find it! It used to be a button, I think, near the bottom of the costume editor. It would be nice if that could even be added to the list of pre-fab costumes for those who liked the unpredictable look.

I didn't see this one in here anywhere.
On my female scrapper(athletic build) I have a roman chest detail on with just a tights pattern underneath. the left shoulder front of the chestpiece clips into the shoulder badly just above the breast. I doesn't matter which stance she is in and I moved the sliders around with no sucess.
PLEASE add my request for fixing the female shorts problem (where your hips show through the sides of the two longest versions) (which has been a problem as long as the shorts have existed, which is years now) (and simply cannot be the way the artist intended) to what must be a long list of such requests in this thread...

i forget, is that bash or omgrawr xD
Jay: i didn't see it in the thread yet, but the Baron coat and High Collar's cape clip pretty badly. The Baron-wearer's arms and shoulders poke thru the cape while running, or in a stiff breeze. For a lot of attack animations (like Dual Wield), the back of the toon tears completely thru the entire width of the cape.
Other than that, i love the magic pack stuff. I haven't used any of it on a magic toon yet! The Vampire Hunter D hat went to my swordsman, and the baron coat/collar went to my Victorian scientist (goes well with top hat and monocle, dontchewknow).
