Jay's Costume Bug Fix List (Post Issue 14)
No no no no... the Bioluminescence set... there is no longer an option to set the pattern to Bioluminescence. As a result, my mutated elf with the furrows of liquid nitrogen no longer has her furrows of liquid nitrogen!
Image 1 is how she SHOULD look. Image 2 clearly shows the parts of Bioluminescence are NOT glowing, nor are the Organic Wings. Her skin and the Bioluminescence and Organic patterns are colored WHITE in both images.
Please fix! Please please please!
And yes, I did submit a bug report.
Edit: Just check Live and current Beta (would not let me, though VIP, onto the VIP server). Same issues there. It is also affecting the Organic Armor pieces except for the face and the Spider Web wings are also affected. Definitely going to affect a lot of costumes.

Hello, Jay (or any other devs that read this)...
I thought I would draw your attention to this thread:

... in which players are lamenting the way many costume parts are "pre-tinted" and thus cannot be colored the way we players would like. That is, sections of the parts have their own color tinting which mixes with any color selected by the player to produce an intermediate color which is not at all desireable. As pointed out in that thread, this often makes any attempt to colorize those parts come out ugly, and makes it difficult to match those parts up with parts from other sets.
Please fix this.

On my StJ/SR/WM stalker, all jacket options regardless of what type or color I choose turns out white.

On female models, if using the Jackets or Sleeveless Jackets top option, Gunslinger belt 2 (the waist cape and bow) is replaced by the 'male' version of the gunslinger belt. While this works fairly well with a few of the jacket options (though sitting pretty high up for a belt), it looks dead awful with most of them, either clipping badly (Lab Coat, for example), or obviously 'floating' around the torso- like you had invisible suspenders as well.
If you use robes, in contrast, or the Bolero, *only* 'slinger 1 is available, avoiding the entire issue. Is this an oversight? Is 'slinger 2 not intended to be available for Jacket tops, or was it assumed no one would ever use it except on a blazer?
Things to remember:
-Common sense ain't;
-Overkill is the only kill;
-If someone asks if you're a god, run away.
On some males, both Steampunk Vests clip massively with their necks, to the point where it looks like a large chunk of the collar is missing. This clipping can be seen from all angles, not just a single one.
For some reason, the Celestial Armor Lower Body pieces are showing up under both 'bottoms' and 'bottoms with skin'.

Obviously, I don't care about NCSoft's forum rules, now.
I'd really like to have seperate category options when choosing eye items, facial hair styles, and neck items. I created an Elizabethian Tudor-style character that I wanted to have a fancy neck ruff (availible in the "Jester" set) and a Van **** goatee for, but I had to choose between them (since they're in the same "Optional" category) rather than being able to have both. Is there any way to fix this? I'd love a specific Tudor costume set, but having the facial hair and neck ruff options seperate would solve my issue.
Thank you to whichever Dev (if any) that might read this!
Ok Since the Costume Request thread is Closed & I can't seem to open a thread in this section of forum I'm stuck asking this here & Hoping to Hades someone answers from either the Dev Teams or Com.Rep's.
Where are we to Post our Costume requests/ feedback?!? Since only Jay's Old topics seem to be found & the other is CLOSED. I have feedback & request/ questions I want to pose, but I don't want to clutter the BUG Costume thread. . .

i have noticed that when using the kilt option for legs that your tunes legs appear to be really thin in the thighs, as in they look like little twigs. Now with some kilts the thighs are covered and you never notice it, but on the new chain mail and roman kilts...it is as clear as day. The giant toon model with these kilts on has a really big upper body and these itty bitty little legs. Now i know its not a huge game breaking issue, but for me it is...i can't get into playing a toon unless i like the name and the costume of my toon. And right now with certain kilts, i won't even use them for my costume, cuz the legs are just so tiny in the thigh. Was writing in hopes that it can be made that while wearing some of these shorter kilts that the musculature of the legs, mainly the thigh area can continue to stay the same size, and all would be great. Thank you for reading this and hopefully it will be fixed in a future patch and i can use the kilts on future toons
Not so much a costume bug fix (although I've got several, most have been mentioned) as two requests.
1. Jay's costume request thread was shut down back in February. The last redname post said another would be created, but I'm not seeing one, unless it's elsewhere. So, could we please have that back?
2. Please. I beg you. Could the costume designers PLEASE design some new female costumes which are 1. flattering to female figures 2. aren't boring neck-to-toe same old, same old takeoffs on existing tights designs and 3. are ones that classic superheroines would actually wear? It wouldn't take much. If someone would take the time to add some retextured tops and bottoms with skin designs, like the Angelic Plus and Hearts Plus, for example, that would breathe some much needed life into that area of the costume creator, and it wouldn't even require a new design, just some embellishment.
Barbarian, gunslinger and steampunk are all great -- but again, not a classic superhero look. I've been able to pick some bits and pieces out of the other packages, but I haven't bothered buying either the mecha or the retro package, and I won't. Celestial armor and fire and ice were the last two I'm getting sucked into buying unless I see some decent female costuming which isn't something bland and forgettable.
FYI, I don't hold you guys responsible for the utter dorkiness of the retro sci fi package.

Just one request at present: at some point I'd like for my male characters to be able to sport long hair while wearing a hat (other than, say, the pirate hat).
Hi Jay, or anyone else dev-wise who reads this.
I wanted to post some of this in costume requests but...
1. The Tech Knight costume i'd gush about the various options, but the Chest Detail does not go over the Tights category Upper Body piece. Mecha Armor Chest Detail does, and i'd love if this did too. Not so sure about the boots, though... I don't know if it's even possible, but i swear, this chest piece would look fantastic on the cosmic corsair robe. Had to put it out there.
2. I grovel and beg for the Cybertech bundle to go live. The waiting is destroying me. Clipping issue with the dreadlocks in headband item and the Raised Goggle Detail. For me, nothing says Cyberpunk like Goggleboy or Gogglegirl, so i'd really like a new pair of raised goggles that rest better on that hairstyle.
3. If i can has Cybertech in the meantime, i won't overly covet the cornrows from Post-Apoc. Yes i get joy out of hairstyles.
4. Cosmic Corsair and Tech Knight belt capes... Possibility of either getting both sides of the cloth to maintain the same colours, or will there be an option like regular capes to colour the interior/exterior as you please (or even an option to make the rear texture black, white or grey...)?
5. I support the clamour for hair options with hats.
6. Jay is STILL sexy.
I seem to have a long list of grumblings here, but i am overwhelmingly satisfied with the character creator, esp. the new assymetrical options and it's what made me fall in love with City of and keeps me paying and playing. Thanks for all the years of gorgeousness.

If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.
Black Pebble is my new hero.
Ears such as demon, elf, imp, etc. still cannot be colored. Been like this since I21 hit.
There is also a bit of bleedthrough on the stomach of the barbarian guard when the character is facing straight forward, such as using the neutral stance or hands on hips stance.
