I have been subscribed to this for a wile now. I don't remember how I got my hands on the rss though... Might have been through google reader's little search feature.
But, it's about time they announced this. RSS feeds are awesome.

Are you guys going to continue updating that, or just atom.xml?
Yup, I second having boards RSS feeds. Especially dev/community digest. Right now I use http://coh.redtomax.com/digest/ for that purpose, but it's not real time. Going directly to the source would be much better.
Jumping in on what UltraPrime said. The availability of RSS feeds for that is kinda old news to those of us paying attention, but Official Dev and Community Digest feeds would rawk teh awesome...
I have no idea why I said that. :-/

For any of the rest of you who use LiveJournal as your RSS reader, you can just subscribe to Syndicated Accounts plaync_coh and plaync_cov for those two. I didn't check to see if the third one was available.

Wait, I don't want to sound like I'm looking the proverbial gift horse yada yada and all that, but I've had the Dev Digest and Community Digest on my home page as RSS feeds for... ugh... months now... maybe a year. I don't have to check that section of the forums anymore, it's on my homepage when I open my browser.
I'm sorry, but is this new?

Yeah, I had the same reaction, they're right next to my "News" RSS feed in my nav bar.
Hmmm...
I too use Red Tomax's site to get the RSS of the dev and community Forums threads, delayed or not. The old and duplicative news on the official Hero and Villain feeds may not keep them on my Feed Reader for long. But any news is better than no news.

I don't remember now where I found the feed thingy from, it's been awhile. Just kinda confused me that it was being announced now. Y'know, like... uhm, what? So, yeah. As long as it's not just me and it's not just some weird time loop, mental breakdown, Stargate thingy, plot device then I'm good.

That is what I have had for awhile with my Google Reader. Or at least Dev Responses to threads.
Is it ok to snag these as CoH news feed for our SG websites if we link to the main website? Is there any restriction(s) on using them?
Anyone know of a good way to parse these in PHP?

We do in RO. We have the RO Bot that gives us all kinds of CoH updates.
