Respec re-grant, definitely the right thing to do.
More costume tokens - meh for me, but my wife is very excited. Her exact comment is 'great but can they give us a 6th costume slot please.'
Global name flag reset - Something I would like to see annually.

silly question about the Freespec....when ish 12 hit was the freespec switch toggled inadvertently? I checked an alt that I was sure that didnt have one before ish 12, and it had one and I was able to freespec it. Or was I lucky recipient of a nice glitch?

Yes, a free respec was given out during the maintenance on May 20th that launched Issue 12.

Great news!! I felt burned about missing the freespec with issue 12....off to make use of it now!
Haven't change my global before but what would be the process/command for doing that?

That's the length of the maint window. So, no, it doesn't mean that.

No, that means the servers are down starting at 6am, and will be down for up to 2 hours. Once they come back up, you'll have the costume tokens, a freespec, and the ability to change your Global.

Any word on if this will be fully functioning before the May 30th Grant so I can get some love on those yet to be created Alts?

Have you tried purchasing slots recently? I purchased a 5 slot pack this morning with no problems.
We made a backend configuration last Friday (5/23) that should have improved your ability to purchase slots, transfer and rename characters.

So just to clarify, because I DON'T want to screw this up.
If I haven't changed my global chat handle yet and I do so BEFORE May 30, then AFTER May 30 if I change my mind, I'll be able to change it again?
Also, if I do change my global chat handle, is it released for another account to take it? And if so, how long after I change it does it take to release it?
I ask because I'm considering finally getting Belle set up with her own global chat channel, but if I do, then I'd like for another account to pick up the @TonyV handle that I'm using now. The main thing I'm worried about is that if I change the handle for one account from @TonyV to something like @Belle, would I be able to change the handle for the other account from whatever it is now to @TonyV, or would that handle remain locked for some period of time (or even permanently)?
We've been saving Paragon City for eight and a half years. It's time to do it one more time.
