Discussion: Issue 12 Comic Book

Cool, I made it into a comic! I was the Gold/Grey Arachnos Soldier.

This is forgiveable. There is so much fun in I12 esepcially in the QOL stuff that missing a few things is par for the course.

And you can always hide Lighthouse in a tree again.

Sadly, I don't think we can. That pic was actually a screen-shot taken during the event. I just happened to be at the right place / right time. Was tabbing through and saw him in the tree, and I thought it was a priceless shot!

PS. Chase is still barred from caffiene for another week. I can only handle so much at a time.

The image does not display for me either. I have tried IE8 (in IE7 mode) and FF and have deleted all internet files and forced true refreshes but to no avail. Everything else on that page displayes properly.

Same experience here in two flavors. IE will display the image place holder and not the image, but the link does work. Firefox shows only the small line/box, no image, again the link works.

Tested two browsers after emptying all cache/history/cookies
Browsers used: IE 7.0.6001.18000 and Firefox 2.0.0.14

edit: Also just tested with Opera 9.27 fresh install. Box is there for the image of the latest comic, link works, but the image does not show.

The problem is that in the web page, the image is referenced as:

http://cohdev.webdev.ncaustin.com/co...fp_Page_01.jpg

Which is a bad address.

The correct image address should be:

http://www.cityofheroes.com/comic/im...fp_Page_01.jpg

Which works fine.

I, too, can not see the image link (Firefox).

It was probably a cache problem. Works fine from home. I was just trying to call your attention to it, thinking it wasn't just me. For whatever reason, the image was showing up at another address on the comic web page. I thought I flushed it out, but looks like I didn't. It was just annoying to me to try to click on such a small area for the comic. I know in the other computer's cache it linked to a much different address.
