mayhem mission map, any of them, long as they have the destructable environments.

Snow version of Atlas Park, (some may remember from original winter lords) with ice around for sliding

Tyrant main room for small teams with lava damage pools

Terra Volta Reactor room, for small teams, minus map hole next to generator that npc's like to keep falling through

Building Construction area of Faultline, with the multi-lvl platforms

Dark Astoria with fog

Shadow Shard, just port over the instanced maps from villain side, and that would be sufficient.

just a few of the top of my head.

The last map in the Cavern of Transendance trial would be cool...places to hide/turtle, and fighting in the center area.

How about some maps we all know really, really well, like the family map or the drek map.

Who thinks the main area of Pocket D would be a good place to fight?

council earth farm

the room with the giant robot from the striga isle TF (including the lava pit at the bottom)

the clearing with the stonhenge like rocks from the croatoa mish with the waves of fir blogs that you need to kill before they can get to the rocks.


The bottom chamber of the crystal cave from the ice mistrel SF.


The room with the giant eyeball AV on the wall you need to kill. Keep the eyeball and animate it more, but make sure it cant attack or be attacked.

I love these 3, especially DA with fog. I would like to see more arena maps with some environmental effects (i.e. the fog in the office building in the Ghost mission in Croatoa).

Well they have already started looking into some specific pvp things on the wishlist but could only fit in the real easy fixes into this current issue due to the reup of resources and so forth.

Selectable arena maps would proabably fall onto Pohsyb's desk since he has been doing interface work and QoL work.

As stated in posi and castle's recent interview, there was a lot of QoL work that has been on dev lists and unable to be completed for a long time. They have just started addressing this and really working hard to cross off items on those lists.

My bet is when posi gives the go ahead in issue 13 or 14 (sometime this year) for a arena upgrade/pvp upgrade, pohsyb will not disappoint.

I state this because we already know castle is looking into some of these issues on the powers end (via his pvp conversation in our forums) and a couple made it into issue 12 (the TK change, etc...) and I am going to assume more will follow in upcoming issues.

Ooo! Another Idea... With all the pictures of SG bases.. Why not have a SG base Contest ment for Invasions, then there's a Vote and the winner gets added to the Arena as a Map!

I think it'd be cool if they expanded the monkey cage to be the whole Pocket D. Real pvpers wouldn't hate it any less, but I can think of some conceptual uses (bar fights that are not text fights).

Seeing as how this thread is marked for posterity and the images I posted aren’t likely to last forever, here’s the list from my suggestions.

Most popular suggestions from the last time I asked:

My suggestions:
<ul type="square">[*]Cap Au Diable: Aeon City (open plaza map)[*]Cap Au Diable: New Haven (nice city map with medium sized buildings. The buildings would allow for evasion but be somewhat easy to clear vertically, unlike some of the structures in the Skyway &amp; Steel arena maps.)[*]Cap Au Diable: New Haven w/ WSPDR (same as above, but with the tall WSPDR building, would allow some of the king-of-the-hill style play possible on the “Siege Tower” map without the annoying impassable fortress.)[*]Cap Au Diable: PTS (nice little area with lots of nooks &amp; crannies – possibly too many. I’d be worried there’s too many objects to get hung up on.)[*]Croatoa: Salamanca (open city area, low buildings)[*]Founder's Falls: Williams Square &amp; surrounding buildings (giant open plaza with a ring of buildings around it. Kind of like the “Outbreak” map scaled up.)[*]Saint Martial: Carnie Tents (I want this. Looks cool, and looks fun to PvP around and over.)[*]Saint Martial: Jackpot (a long corridor with lots of ledges and vertical play on the sides. Very cool looking at night.) [*]Sharkhead Isle: Port Recluse vicinity (open city map with a fairly large water tower-thing in the middle.)[*]Sharkhead Isle: The Pit (might be annoying, but has the real potential of being an interesting balancing act.
