We at P.E.R.C. had a hard decision to make this week. We want to thank everyone for their patience, hard work and creativity in all of your submissions and in waiting for the results. The submissions in this contest were way more than we ever anticipated! Without further ado, we give you the winners!

Wow - Both Turbo Nerd and I are thrilled and pleased. We never expected First Place - since there were many very good entries.

I hope that our entries brought a smile and a moment of nostalgia to each and every player.

Talysin i have 1 Q what is a Hero Gear Kit

The Hero Gear Kit is a no-longer produced item offered by NCSoft.

It contained the stuff that was in the CoH Collector's Edition (minus the DVD iirc). It had the Statesman Hero Clix, a mini comic, the Prestige Power Slide, Cape of the Four Winds, the V.I.P badge, and some other stuff I think.

congratulations guys you earned it.....i would like to strongly argue how aoe won...i am looking at his pictures where he merely renamed his mm pets and find that this is in no way fair or true to the requirements of this hunt....his arsonist is in no way a wizard, naming it wizard doesn't make it a wizard and it does not have an appearance or powers that resemble that of a wizard, i got install wizard but thats not a real wizard.....also Lord Recluse...not only was that not the lord recluse, but it was not an Arch-Villain, which is what an AV is.....the name lord recluse does not make one an AV and depending on the settings of the mission its possible for an AV to actually be an EB or a boss even, despite the fact that they have the name of an av...and the fact that one pet shares its name with a ghost makes it in no way a ghost

i've shown others this and they also see it as i do.....the other two clearly earned their spots, but this guy took shortcuts to come up with something that was vaguely similar to the requirements but no where near anything worthh actually being called a winner

this is my opinion, plz don't like flame me over this, its just i've looked over this, asked others, and i feel it is unfair for him to recieve that 3rd place spot without this point being brought up

If you want to be nitpicky and not count pet names (and a couple other "creative" item descriptions), you're only taking out 4 from pic #1 and 10 from pic #5 on AOE. Still prolly good for third place. Congratulations to everyone. It would have been nice to see some honorable mentions for creativity. In my opinion, I saw a few that were really good shots with several items in them that were more interesting than some of the top three with less interesting pics with a lot of items in them. I'd do it myself, but I can't remember them and don't feel like sorting through all of them again. I PM'ed the owners of my personal favorites anyway

We had a judging committee assigned to tediously count each and every single item in each and every picture. I assure you that no one got credit for any item that was not within the guidelines, or specifically what we were looking for.

Remember, number of items only counted for a percentage of the score, creativity was equally as important.

I'm going to have to agree with PownUnoobs. You stated creativity was of equal importance, but what I noticed was a number of items duplicated over and over in each photo entry (for quite a large number of entries, too), which to me lacks creativity, on top of the issue already brought up about actually finding things that fit the list of items. Heck, i know I did it a few times as well with the color blue and brick buildings, but I tried to be creative by NOT replicating items, and I did it all by staying on villain side when I knew it would be easier to swap to a hero for at least half the list if not more.

Congrats you two!

Thank you for your dissenting opinions and for challenging the views of those who had to make a decision. It truly is what makes America great (and I say that as an American stationed overseas as required by America). As I also said at the beginning of my post, some of them were pushing the envelope though I was just having fun so I was surprised when I won. I enjoyed seeing places in the game I had never noticed before through everyone's pics. I definitely am paying more attention to detail in the game now. Until the next event!

alright thats cool, in that case i say grats to you as well aoe, i trust that the perc knows what they're doin based on the above quote and as a result your win was probably duely(no clue if i spelled that word right) earned

Congratulations to all of the winners!

I want to agree with the sentiment that there should have been some honorable mentions. I think that wouldn've assuaged the feelings of some of those who were not selected, especially those whose entries were made to reflect the creativity side of the contests, instead of a dull "let's cram everything I can into one shot." You said that making the judges feel something was important. I think that by not acknowledging some of the other talent here, you've made some people feel something as well. I hope this feedback helps you in your next contest.
