Ok here we go. Probably not the winners but after sifting through 4 years of screen shots these seem to be the best to fit contest. Oh well the last one was created for this contest.

1. Silver Mantis up close and personal! (Dead player is Sonicaire, AV & Base Item (wall detail eye in background)) Silver Mantis

2. Trashing a Crey Agent. (Ragdoll, Blue dumpster, NPC emote, Brick Building, Player Power) Crey Trashed

3. Jack in Irons suffers. (GM, Player Powers, Plants) Jack Battle

4. Rikti Invasion! (Invasion, Player Power, Brick building) Rikti Invasion

5. Finally a staged one in Dark Astoria (Ragdoll, Blue Ice & Player, Ghost(running on left side under tree), Plants, Player Powers) Popcorn Physics

Here are Big Yeti's contest entries:

Where did everyone go.... hmm must have seen a Yeti

Photo #1 contains: something blue, small boat, plant, beach, sunset, dead tree, wizard/witch, and I am sure there is a spider web in there somewhere- this place is not very clean

Party on Chunky Monkey- just because no one comes to your party doesn't mean it isn't a real party... This is what happens when you eat all the party snacks!


Photo #2 contains: NPC performing an emote, costume contest- well ok so it is small, doesn't mean it doesn't count, partying trolls, something blue, upside down truck, using a power (fly), dj zero

Snakes... I hate snakes...


Photo #3 contains: Brick bldg, Snake, Graffiti, someone using a power, someone mezzed (snakes)- this one is all about the snakes
Hey guys what's going on.....Chunky happens upon some protestors



Photo #4 contains: dead player- poor guy killed by the GM, sunset, GM, Brick Bldg., Someone using a power, someone mezzed- scrapyarders, something blue- GM is very blue, depicting villainy, protestors, line of people- well they were in a row until they mezzed

The Fountain of Youth- you told me this would make me younger


Photo #5 contains: plant, beach, bank- come on you all know the Black Market is like the NASDAQ- also players use it to bank/store items, brick bldg, fountain, purple car, stop sign (The Monkey says STOP), using a power (fly), something blue (that fountain sure is blue), depicting Villainy (The Monkey does this where ever he goes), spider web- again this place is not very clean and I am sure there are spiders!

Here are the 5 entries for the contest.
The Real Heroes
This one was a wonderful shot capturing 12 aspects:
(Sunset, purple car, NPC doing emote (below and to left of me), dead player (Galedlothia met with Wailer Queen, and was unable to get to the hospital fast enough, she is lying on the ground between the steps and the NPC), brick building, use of power, something depicting Heroism/Villainy (the hospital gets very little coverage for all the work the doctors and nurses do), a dead tree (located between the two along the side of the road - on the right), beach, something blue (cape), plants, ragdoll effect (poor Galedlothia)).

I hate Snakes!
Grafitti on wall in support of the Snakes, NPCs protesting to protect the snakes from those of us who would rather see them annihilated, and explosive arrows.
(NPC using emote, protestors, sunrise, snakes, graffiti, use of power, brick building.)

Truly a Carnival
Sunset over St. Martial and the Carnival of Shadows tents. To the right are CoT in very interesting emote poses, along with Ghost. (Shows use of power, sunset, carnival tent, ghost, NPCs using emote)

Evil Genius Finishing School Base
Base for the "Evil Genius Finishing School" whose motto is "Not one step backwards!"
Showing plant, something blue, base or portal, use of power, something depicting Heroism/Villainy.

This picture has a fountain, plants, someone using a power, “ragdoll physics” picture, something blue (the redcaps vest), something depicting Heroism/Villainy (the statues in the back), an NPC performing an emote (photographer), brick building, and sunset (though sun is not visible in the picture).

(I put them up on my webserver because they are too big for every online photo hosting site I could find. Each one is roughly 3mb PNG file - 1680x1050 - taken with PrintKey Pro v1.04 for screenshots instead of the crappy in-game BMP's)

1: Picture0091.png : "Death before battle" I died on the way to get this shot of the pvp battle at the fountain in the background. Lucky me, I got plants (both the grass and trees), brick buildings, heroes and villains using their powers to annihilate each other in heroic defense and villainous conquering, and some tasteless graffiti in blue paint.

2: Picture0113.png : "Bombing of St. Martial" The Rikti invaded St. Martial during my elusive hunt for the purple car, which I found on a side street just below and to the right of my position. AS you can see, I was fairly close to the Carnival Tents, flying between the brick buildings to avoid getting fried by the Rikti Destroyers. The blue and black cars below had a rikti bomb blow up on them moments before I took this picture. Afterwards, I flew around in the forest to see what was down there and ended up narrowly escaping 7 rikti bombs exploding in a very confined space.

3: Picture0116.png : "Touring the warzone" A random flythrough of the RWZ netted me this one. A vanguard wizzard being mezzed into helplessness by the invading rikti hordes. You can barely see the wonderful blue armored Rikti Chief Mesmerist getting pounded in return by the wizard and the green aura of his healing powers in use; and blue rikti infantry unit running away in the background. The landscape was littered with dead trees. There's a lot of graffiti along the walls in RWZ as well as destroyed brick buildings, and a lot of upside down tanks. I'd say the Wizard qualifies for heroic actions after the number of rikti I watched get pushed back.

4: Picture0132.png : "Port Oakes - Dockside and the Arena" I went back to Port Oakes after dying in the RWZ so I could head to Pocket D, and snapped this picture before entering. It gives a nice view of the small boats in the Dock Side harbor, along with the tiny beach below Pocket D. I thought it odd, with as much hunting through Port Oakes that I've done, that the ONLY upside down truck i've ever seen in port oakes is on the nearly empty red barge on top of a container. I hadn't realized at the time that there were more qualifications for the hunt in the picture as well.. the flags on the arena spires are checkered flags. There are blue cars, a blue door awning on the bbq joint by the ferry, and the roof of the arena is blue as well. the grass and the tree in the parking lot by pocket d are living plants, and pocket D, and most of the other building in the picture are brick as well.

5: Picture0133.png : "Drink the Night Away" Inside Pocket D I was hoping to catch some of the odder npc types presence, but no luck, sorta.. War Witch is a ghost in Pocket D - She'll even admit it when you talk to her. The illustrious, and very 1 dimensional DJ Zero is always present. We even have a wolfspider leaning against the far wall and some carnies dancing in the cages. It took me a little while to realize that I had also caught the long line of people at the blueside bar upstairs in the photo, and that the little "wings" outside the window behind the portal ring is a series of solar panels.

Of course me reading the paper.

Upload your photos to a free hosting site such as ImageShack or Photobucket.

Those'll give you a url to a direct link to the picture.

Hit the reply button by a post in the thread. Press the button under the "Instant UBB Code" entitled "URL". The first box will be where you put that direct url from the image hosting site. The second box will be something where you can type a title for the link or something just to make it shorter than what the url actually is.

This is where i really went for those important creativity pics and this one is easily my favorite
there's me the dead toon, then my ghost is standing over me teabagging me (if you're not familiar with the term which this is sort of a pun of, plz send me a pm because if ya don't get it,it kills the humor which i belive is a big part of creativity), the blue in the war wall, the trees, and the brick buildings

Thank you to everyone who entered our contest. No more entries will be accepted past my post, it is officially over.

We want to make sure that we count each and every item to be accurate in declaring our winners, thus we will be taking a week to judge.
