  1. I would love to see an updated i19 build for this. I have the 2nd version saved for when I get the inf saved to build it. what I have so far is impressive with most of the purples missing (filled in with orange sets currently)

I've been amassing inf across all 15 of my toons for this build
  2. I think there might be a solution.. I hope this might be able to help:

heck, I can cap an MA map in 30 minutes with my ar/dev blaster and make 50-100 mill selling the crafted 'good stuff' from rolling bronze.

as Mukilord said in some other thread today, "I can fart 100 million inf".
I am not you. and I have never capped 300 million in the 3 years i've been playing as a dk/dk corr.
  4. Finally, a straight, simple answer i can understand.

    5 tips a day
10 tips per Moral mission (2days)
    1 moral mission = 1 A-merit

so those 20 A-merits I need for some recipes is going to take me 40 days. i think i can live with that, since i couldn't earn the inf to buy a 300 million purple from grinding the same number of missions in that time frame.
  5. I must be seriously misunderstanding something here.

    From this
    Quote:
Hero and Villain reinforcing Morality Missions will now award 50 Reward Merits on the first reinforcement and 1 Hero or Villain Merit on the second and subsequent reinforcements.
    this:
    Quote:
Players can earn a limited amount of fame for their alignment-related deeds. To earn more fame, the public has to first lose interest in your old deeds. The public will hold interest in no more than five deeds, and their interest will last for 20 hours after the deed occurred. The player also has the option to reinforce their standing as their current alignment. .
    and this:
    Quote:
Continuing to complete Tips tied to the player's current alignment will give them the chance to complete the Moral mission once again, thereby reinforcing their existing moral beliefs. This cycle of reinforcement can be completed as many times as the player likes.
It sounds like you can do 5 A-merits every 20 hours. Am I missing something from the actual i18 patch notes released this morning?
  6. i couldn't tell you what my clone was. I never saw it. I ran the arc twice through ouro now, and my clone only showed up in the first mission to run away. After that, each mission was a clone of a different party member.
  7. My favorite memories....

The day I started my first villain, shortly after GvE was released. Ghost Widow, of all people, showed up in Mercy Island at fort Darwin and gifted me with 200k inf. I've been a villain ever since.

#2 - Earning my "Master of Lord Recluse's Strike Force" badge. 43 attempts, almost nightly, with the same crew - Stoney, Goss, Mara Blaze, Mara's boyfriend, and a couple others I've sadly forgotten. I'd been running successful LRSF's almost weekly at that point, totalling nearly 200 completed by that point. I dont think I've run one since.

  8. My one wish for CoX is one, just one full issue, with nothing but bug fixes. Please?
  9. @Free Fall, Virtue Server.

I just finished up a 4.5 million base build for my supergroup, the Wraith Spiders, and I'm more than happy to give tours. A Fairly large portion of it is multi-floor as well
  10. Cat 9.1 was released Jan 29, 2009, just thought I'd drop this in here so it can be disected
  11. I'm going to have to agree with PownUnoobs. You stated creativity was of equal importance, but what I noticed was a number of items duplicated over and over in each photo entry (for quite a large number of entries, too), which to me lacks creativity, on top of the issue already brought up about actually finding things that fit the list of items. Heck, i know I did it a few times as well with the color blue and brick buildings, but I tried to be creative by NOT replicating items, and I did it all by staying on villain side when I knew it would be easier to swap to a hero for at least half the list if not more.
  12. Here's my entries: http://sartek.sytes.net/hunt
(I put them up on my webserver because they are too big for every online photo hosting site I could find. Each one is roughly 3mb PNG file - 1680x1050 - taken with PrintKey Pro v1.04 for screenshots instead of the crappy in-game BMP's)

1: Picture0091.png : "Death before battle" I died on the way to get this shot of the pvp battle at the fountain in the background. Lucky me, I got plants (both the grass and trees), brick buildings, heroes and villains using their powers to annihilate each other in heroic defense and villainous conquering, and some tasteless graffiti in blue paint.

2: Picture0113.png : "Bombing of St. Martial" The Rikti invaded St. Martial during my elusive hunt for the purple car, which I found on a side street just below and to the right of my position. AS you can see, I was fairly close to the Carnival Tents, flying between the brick buildings to avoid getting fried by the Rikti Destroyers. The blue and black cars below had a rikti bomb blow up on them moments before I took this picture. Afterwards, I flew around in the forest to see what was down there and ended up narrowly escaping 7 rikti bombs exploding in a very confined space.

3: Picture0116.png : "Touring the warzone" A random flythrough of the RWZ netted me this one. A vanguard wizzard being mezzed into helplessness by the invading rikti hordes. You can barely see the wonderful blue armored Rikti Chief Mesmerist getting pounded in return by the wizard and the green aura of his healing powers in use; and blue rikti infantry unit running away in the background. The landscape was littered with dead trees. There's a lot of graffiti along the walls in RWZ as well as destroyed brick buildings, and a lot of upside down tanks. I'd say the Wizard qualifies for heroic actions after the number of rikti I watched get pushed back.

4: Picture0132.png : "Port Oakes - Dockside and the Arena" I went back to Port Oakes after dying in the RWZ so I could head to Pocket D, and snapped this picture before entering. It gives a nice view of the small boats in the Dock Side harbor, along with the tiny beach below Pocket D. I thought it odd, with as much hunting through Port Oakes that I've done, that the ONLY upside down truck i've ever seen in port oakes is on the nearly empty red barge on top of a container. I hadn't realized at the time that there were more qualifications for the hunt in the picture as well.. the flags on the arena spires are checkered flags. There are blue cars, a blue door awning on the bbq joint by the ferry, and the roof of the arena is blue as well. the grass and the tree in the parking lot by pocket d are living plants, and pocket D, and most of the other building in the picture are brick as well.

5: Picture0133.png : "Drink the Night Away" Inside Pocket D I was hoping to catch some of the odder npc types presence, but no luck, sorta.. War Witch is a ghost in Pocket D - She'll even admit it when you talk to her. The illustrious, and very 1 dimensional DJ Zero is always present. We even have a wolfspider leaning against the far wall and some carnies dancing in the cages. It took me a little while to realize that I had also caught the long line of people at the blueside bar upstairs in the photo, and that the little "wings" outside the window behind the portal ring is a series of solar panels.
