I don't read comics so I didn't know. Good thing this contest isn't about someone's knowledge of existing comic book people. Was just an idea that popped into my head and I ran with it. Perhaps she'll be my first generic'd toon.

Nope, that's the correct pallet...e.

Is it pallet or pallette? Because firefox keeps saying that pallette is spelled incorrectly...

But that aside, ya got one more day before your submission is due! The deadline for this one is 4:00 PM EST, so get those last submissions in!

I guess it's just the lack of red that makes it look off, but that blue looks a lot more like the first palette's light blue rather than the darker blue used in the most recent one. Oh well, I'll shut up now.

Only a schmuck would report that as she looks nothing like Liberty Belle 1 or 2.

FWIW it is one of my favorites in this go round.

Oh, you're talking about the COSTUME. Yeah, that IS the wrong pallette.

Hi!

So, I've been thinking that the hero i made reminds me of someone... and this morning I realized that he reminds me of SUPERMAN which he DOES.

SO, in the interest of not being trite, I came up with another costume to replace Airborne Arbiter (sorry bout this, ddgryphon!):

I've swaped out Airborne Arbiter for The Jolly Compatriot (and I must say very nice Golden Age Vibe to him).

And as a side, I had an idea for displaying a character in action that I worked up--there are still some rough edges, but here are the results.

Thank you on both counts, Seraff.

While I'm doing nothing else this Saturday (other than Catching up on the John Adams Mini-series--really really good TV) I couldn't let King Caldera go--this is such a dangerous thing (pallet contest) for such a terrible altaholic like myself. I've set up an after and before reference sheet to show you where I've tweaked him. The idea is for him to look like a living piece of earth with fiery lava coursing through him. The first look came close, but I hit on an idea that might better work and did that up today.

Anyway here's the images first new then old.
