Yes, how about a giant oscillator monster to go with it. We don't have ANY flying GM's yet.

Make it the reward for defeating the (already built and walking around) Clockwork Paladin in KR, and I'm so there.
Another vote for "awesome thread."

Trying to guess just how Posi goes poddy....
[/ QUOTE ]
LOL! Now that really sounds like a smart question.. Considering he never takes off his armor... Can just picture him standing there in Steel with Valk grumbling.. Valk asking "What's wrong??" and posi responding "I knew I shouldn't have had that Super Big Gulp between Server updates this morning!"
[/ QUOTE ]In his defense, he was a being of energy for a long time... bodily functions are tough to get used to!
[/ QUOTE ]
Thus the quote - when Posi takes a leak, he levels a city block.
[/ QUOTE ]
And the one that says "He should have slotted for hold duration."
Chase, if you read this, you should make a comic starring Sister Flame, Hero 2, and Positot.
[/ QUOTE ]
hmmm... there are some possibilities here....

Excellent thread. I usually don't chime in and rarely actually use the forums for anything but a quick reference to some of the currents news. This one caught my eye and was uplifting. Good to hear some good is out there.

Oh that would be so cool, I would be after that badge in a heartbeat! Clickey-Clack, too funny.
Speaking of which am I the only one that thinks that some of the clockwork sound like Curly going Woop-woop-woop! When they expire?

That is classic. Thank you for sharing your stories, they're a great pick-me-up after a crappy day at class/work.

Perfect suggestion!
Gotta admit, this is one of the best threads I've ever read.
Fantastic stories and experiences for all who posted thusfar!
As a father, my two boys learned how to read by going through my old comics stash and asking me to read X-Men, Spider-Man, or Avengers for them; after awhile, they were reading to me. These moments, to me, were the most priceless times I ever had with them. It was quality time, and it was OUR time.
Today, they are avid CoH players, with my oldest achieving his first level 50 last night (since we are mostly Guardianites, we celebrated with cookies, of course!). My youngest is a level away from his 50, and for our "family of heroes" household, these are grounds for celebration. Not too many families I know celebrate together when their kids hit the highest level in the game! The most important of this is that we still celebrate together as a family.
As I have deduced since day 1 of my CoH expereince, I knew this game would be what I hoped it to be - a good community not only for me, but for my family.
With that, kudos to Sister Flame and family! And here's to our community; most importantly, for those players and parents that make this game the best MMO ever!

What a terrific thread
This is a very nice collection of positive gaming stories. I'm glad to see that you're doing something interactive with your children as opposed to just watching tv with them.

_Wyll_, thanks for the great post!
I'm about to let my daughter of 8 play. Finally after a long while my Router let the other puter on the net. ??? Long story. But, I downloaded Coh on the puter and is now ready to play. I also have kinda tought my daughter to read from CoH and other things. She has said some of the hard names from game without me telling her. The smart Far.t!

She's quite smart and rolled a really cool looking toon. I think I'm going to have to watch my back or she'll take over my SG leaderdhip

I think that if this badge were to get in, it would be a shame that Sister Flame wouldn't be able to get it on her villain. So I would propose 500 Clockwork of any type. Do it Posi you know you want to.
I like this thread alot. It is full of win.

Totally agree with the Awesome Thread feelings! Keep the stories coming as they are too fun!
Also love the "Clickey-Clack" badge idea, especially if it gives a reward for Paladin removal. Regardless of how to get it, we needs us that badge!
love this thread. 4 srs, guys. <3
Really reminds me why the City of franchise is my absolute favorite- the best community in the entire realm of MMO's.
Let's take for example the last City Scoop couples-feature. If you had a gay couple prominently featured anywhere else, like on the WoW forums, then everyone would be crying 'lolghey' or some junk like that. Here, everyone's just like 'awesome, let's all head to pocket d and grab a beer' or something.
And here, we have a little 6 year old girl who can manage to play the game and be a better sport than most 21 year olds in online games. Truly, this is simultaneously extremely hilarious and extremely saddening. (Plus it's teaching her things! And people say video games aren't good for anything.) And to this little girl, again, the community is like 'awesome, let's head to pocket d and grab a juice box'.
But I digress. Ish.
I love you all. (except for you, PWNZ. (kidding!)) This game is just like a great friend to me- not only does it provide a fun diversion, but it's something I can just jump on and chat with people about whatever is on my mind and we all remain friendly. Rarely, if ever, is any sort of insult thrown across without a sarcastic and humorous tone to it.
So thanks. Thanks for everything. I'm going to be staying with this game for a while, just 'cause of you all.
Okay, serious part over. You may all resume your normal lives now.

*sigh* I have been thinking about this. We don't have a cool ready-made baby handle for when our little girl is born. Maybe we should hold a contest

[/ QUOTE ]There's a reason for that. *points at a group of sad scrappers. they are sad because they can not fight the flying GM. This is because their only travel powers are teleport or superspeed* Of course, if it was limited flight, I think there could be acceptable workarounds.
Wait, isn't that Ghost GM in Nerva flying?
