Ssnak my ice tank basically played Friday night through Sunday afternoon. Gained 10 levels from 27-37 (2 bars shy of 38). It was some of the most enjoyable experiences as we did the Ouro TF for 5th col. Best TF I have done to date teamwork or die i loved it. The rest were general radio missions since we had SK's and we kept getting missions into security zones (devs please fix this for the love of pete). Overall I only wish it was longer to allow me time to get on with villians .

I got my Emp from 33-50.
Corruptor 48-50.
Blaster 49-50.
Freedumb Brute 1-20.
lol Virtue concept Brute 1-17.

All my Infinity characters are 50! My last slots are saved for Villain epic archetypes.

The O-Farm killed the markets. A lot of people were going 35-50 doing those. No salvage drops, no recipe drops, just tons of money. It's terrible. I dropped down my accumulated salvage the other night and a bloody Regen Flesh sold for 120k. Not looking forward to IOing out my new Emp

I had a lot of fun with my Virtue Brute, it's been a while since I've played a pure-concept build.

Just stay away from the market for a couple weeks, things will normalize quickly, you'll see.

[/ QUOTE ]

I know it will, there's just an upcoming tournament and I want my emp in shape for it. Not sure if I can pull it off with the way the market is now. :<

Any comments to those who felt locked out of the fun?

Stop crying?

See, it's the neverending blatant trollish posts like this that ensure people from freedom and virtue continue being hostile to those of the other servers, ensuring they remain barren wastelands. Some people just can't empathize with others I guess, who just wanted to play their favourite guys and were having troubles with it, I guess

[/ QUOTE ]

At the same time, did you see the posts from people on Freedom?

I've seen a lot of over-the-top whinging posts covering the connection trials and tribulations over the weekend. I'm not myopic enough to spin them into a respresentation of the whole of the complaint (not to imply you are, but it's been the overall reaction to the complaints). However, doing so is a great gamer passtime, so expect more "Crai moar". It's easier than thinking.

I have to admit, as a Virtue player, when I experienced the performance over the weekend I expected many forum posts of many sorts, but I didn't expect the general "Oh, just shut the [censored] up about it, most of us had fun" that the whole thing received. (Well, okay, to be honest, it's a gaming forum, I expected that a *littel bit* for every post.)

This is just one of those "Shubbie took the helm" issues wherein people have an easy quotable scapegoat to address whenever the complaint seems to valid. "Yeah you may not have really gotten the same benefit from the weekend as other paying customers, but... look! Over there! Shubbie posts like an idiot!"

Meh, if double xp weekends were a more common event it'd be a bigger deal. I just didn't expect quite so simple minded an overall reaction on the forums - you usually have a smattering of posters who don't go the facile route of quoting Shubbies and posting lulz over and over. Instead, even the most evenly-worded posts are getting spun into "whining" - it's very WoW. Reminds me of the "I catch your tears in a cup" fad over there.

Anyway, as it looks as thought it's not viewed as an issue worthy of a nod by the powers above, players will know in the future and won't go in blind. They'll know, depending on how future transfers go, that if they play on one server with their friends exclusively and it's a loaded one, they'll either need to roll on a new server with some PuGs for the weekend or just chill out until Monday.

Friday about 16 hours before going to sleep (early Saturday morning).

Saturday about 14 hours.

Sunday was about 12 hours.

Usually grouped with occassional solo time. Often with full teams.

Controller #1 went from 39-35. Controller #2 29-33. Defender from 7 to 9. Ice/warmace tank 13-25. Corrupter 36 to 38.

Did 2 TF's on Sunday although during the 2nd one I think double xp stopped. We did Sister Psyche's and Manticore's.

Only once could I not get onto Virtue, and had a quick DC on Protector and was then able to get back on Virtue.

Had several client crashes/verifying files each day. I felt bad for the poor Global server too.

on Virtue:
Darkennedy dark/sonic Def
Lena Slayer NightWidow
Vengeful Woman Energy/Rad Corruptor
Hella Effing Cool cold/sonic def

Unfortunately since they never have say...Double Xp Tuesday, I never get to take advantage of them. I have yet to log on for more than an hour or two total on a Double Xp weekend due to job or social life or combo of the two.

How bout a mid-week Double XP eh? Eh?

I played for ~3 hours Friday night, ~6 hours on Saturday and ~8 hours on Sunday. For about 2/3rds of that time, I was in a group of 4-8 players, the rest being spent duo or a very small amount of soloing time.

For all of that, I gained 2 levels on a Brute (23-25), 1 Level on a Controller (14-15) and 13 levels on a Defender (19-32.)

I did not do any task forces, and did almost none of my own missions, spending most of the time sidekicked to level 38-40ish mentors doing their missions (My SG was trying to get a bunch of characters to 39 for the Eden Trial.)

Overall, I had a lot of fun...can't wait to do it again!

Whoa, does your SG know that you are, you know...you know.

Also, what server? What's your char name? What's your dog's name?

Since the last few DXP I raised high level charcters to 50, I decided to be different this time and raise some lowbies that I was interested in.

MM Necro/Dark: From Lv 2 to 19
Cor Fire/Rad: From Lv 11-18
Troller Fire/Kin: From Lv 24-28
Troller Ill/Emp: From Lv 32-33
Sta Claw/Dark: From Lv 16-20

Along with raising a few of my pals characters. it was funny I was remarking to a pal, I was feeling a little burnt out before DXP and wasn't even sure I'd be able to play during it, but now afterwards I cant help but want to keep jumping on.
