I don't know if it was _the_ reason, but when testing an arc of mine that used this map, I found glowies would repeatedly spawn inside walls in the last room. They would be unreachable. I /bugged it.

More importantly.... Do the Devs think that GoSabres should be bought an Aston Martin of his choice?

I totally agree with you. We "pay" the same amount as everyone else, more so if your someone that buys all the new content they offer. We as the consumer should play the game anyway we fit, given the parameters that the devs have layed out for us. After all, it is we the people who "pay" all those salaries of the game makers. I shouldnt be told how to play a game, just like the dealership doesnt tell you how to drive that car you are buying from them. Great point, many more should stand up and not follow in line like the sheep they are...repeat after me people, I will play the game only the way I want to play. I dont care if you PL or Farm or whatever

Actually he doesn't say "deleted", he says "lose access to", which infers that the characters will still take up slots on your account, yet for all intents and purposes are deleted.

In addition to the tools mentioned above, if you're running a Windows machine, enable all of the error reporting to the event logs. After a reboot, go back and see if you can see anything flagging there before the reboot happened.

My Entry:
I have played red side pretty exclusively since it was released. I have no idea who the J-Force are. But, they rock because of LegendaryJMan's forum avatar. Hot pants, tight butt, what more would anyone want? -

I've love to see the Longbow invasion from the end of CoV beta since I didn't get to experience it myself.
[/ QUOTE ]
I suspect it will be more, but that was definitely some of the best fun I had in the game. Or the massive Bloody Bay hero-villain battles with the signature's present.
Heh, I remember not knowing GMs were controlling the Longbow bosses, thinking it was just the Dev's and the signature heroes. I was running all around Mercy trying to shake some Longbow Warden that was on my tail after I tried to take him down. Needless to say, the Warden evened the score.
Or one a hero hunting team...
Team member: "Look out, Ravenstorm!"
Me: "Wher..." *eating pavement* -

The problem with that is that the more full-word descriptions you have to use, the less and less room you have left for an actual description.

NF = Not Farm. -
Just a few things to add that have already been stated by others:
- Monster Isle parties. Mission's were okay, but after getting on a Monster Isle team, it was a blast.
- Monkey Isle fun, when the monkey badge was 10,000 to get. And also, being about to out-herd any tank with my D3. Scooping up both islands of monkeys, to the beach where the nukes went off was great fun. Raining monkey bodies.
- Running a D3 after all the forum "experts" decreed them to be 'teh sux'. Pretty much had to solo it to 50, because teams didn't want a D3 because they couldn't "heal". That, and showing up to one of the first Hami raids with my D3 and no one knowing where to stick me because no one really had a lvl 50 D3.
- Hover or Fly contests off the buildings in Atlas or Steel, where you'd drop off the side and see who could get the closest to the ground before hitting their fly or hover, without splatting.
- The guard tower TP friend fun.
- Running one of the CoT missions with the portal room, and being amazed at the XP from killing all the demons coming out of the portals.
- Before there was /em boombox
- Clintonian's real heroes of genius threads.
And sadly,
- When people actual ran TF's instead of "speed TF" like now. -
Arc Name: Saving Arachnos
Arc ID: 26649
Faction: Villainous
Your global/forum name: @GoSabres
Difficulty Level: medium to hard.
Recommended Team Size: Solo-able by some AT's but squishies might want to bring some friends.
Typical duration: about one to two hours.
Arc Synopsis: The Praetorian's have made a move against Arachnos, and are attempting to disrupt historical events that lead to the evolution of Lord Recluse and his Lieutenants. Your job is to stop them. The arc is 5 missions, with the first 4 being for one of each of the Lieutenants (Scirocco, Black Scorpion, Captain Mako, and Ghost Widow) before the last that deals with Lord Recluse's origins. Expect at least one Praetorian in each mission.
Note: Certain 'squishy' classes might not be able to solo this arc very well. The Praetorian AV's will downgrade to an Elite Boss when running solo, at the lowest difficulty level. -

Do the tuxedo tails have the horrible butt cape trench coat physics going on? Or do they actually look ok?
[/ QUOTE ]
They flow from the mid-back and look much more natural than the trench coats.
[/ QUOTE ]
I wonder if they're using the code from the Night Widow's buttcapes instead of the standard trenchcoats? They have always flowed more like a real material, and behaved differently then the players trench coat. -

9) More Catgirls. There are not enough Catgirls in the game.

Maybe all the Dev's should have to be catgirls at the wedding? Just to attempt to get into the good graces of your superior awesomeness? -

My girlfriend and i played quietly (as always) together - i've fairly recently introduced her to the game and got her blaster and my second tank our travel powers. The other few friends i have that still play were all pl'ing or using the rwz/oroboros...trick...*cough* exploit *cough* to get insane amounts of influence.I think i prefer what i did with my weekend than what they accomplished - even if i didn't get a bajillion inf or go from level 1- 50 in a weekend *shrugs*.
*edit cause i engrish gud*

Pretty much the same here, was helping a friend out who recently joined the game, and walking them through how some of the things worked. Didn't get a chance to do a TF with them though. But lots of 'oh, cool!' comments from them. Slowly weening them off of WoW. -

See, it's the neverending blatant trollish posts like this that ensure people from freedom and virtue continue being hostile to those of the other servers, ensuring they remain barren wastelands. Some people just can't empathize with others I guess, who just wanted to play their favourite guys and were having troubles with it, I guess

I have found that the people that use that excuse are the ones that would never take part in PvP under any circumstances. That's why it upsets me to see people continue to use that as a reason for not PvPing. It would just be easier to say, "I don't like PvP and won't do it for any reason." than to keep coming into these discussions and pull the trash talk card.
[/ QUOTE ]
I'd disagree because I'm one of those people who don't bother to think about PvP in this game because of the prevalence of sophomoric attitudes, that appears to be embraced by many. Have I PvP'd in City of Heroes/Villains? Sure I have. Tried out both the zone type and arena types, and found these attitudes to be a major turn-off for me in both area's.
When did I like PvP? When it was massive event type things, where people just didn't care. And the numbers involved quickly droned out the idiots. It was chaos, but it was fun. One event that was a riot (to me) was the 'Oompa Loompa' event on the test server one time, that involved making a low level character that looked like an Oompa Loompa (like lvl 3 max), a race to PI, then it was an all-out battle royal. That was fun. Same with the massive PvP events during the Beta tests of the games. You didn't see the trash talking and childish attitudes that you see in a PvP zone these days. People were there to have fun for the day/event, and that was it.
So don't discount that argument just because you might not think it's valid. There are a number of players who think along these lines, and we 'vote' our thoughts of PvP by avoiding the zones entirely. For the question to be thrown out as to why a person may not wish to enter that part of the game, then to discard their reasons as invalid, doesn't do too much to endear the PvP game to people like us.
I could give or take PvP, as I don't surround my gameplay around that single aspect of the game. When I saw the post by Ex a bit ago about it, it genuinely got my through process going of maybe contributing to it and maybe giving it more in-game time if a few things are made different. But then, I see threads like this one that pretty much leave me wishing PvP in this game would just drop off the face of the earth.
But, upon reflection of some of the more enjoyable times I had in the PvP world, I will say there were a few common themes. First, was that it was disposable. I hadn't invested lots of time or effort into creating the character, instead it was just for plain fun. Secondly, it was more even. The events typically let everyone 'jump' up to certain levels and play. Or, in the case of the Oompa Loompa event, the level restriction was so low, that no one had any sort of distinct advantage.
But overall, the main reason why I've stopped going to any of the PvP zones is the attitude. Sure, you can deny it all you want, but I know thats the reason why I (and others I play with) avoid it. -
