As players are talking about in this thread if you obtained those powers last year, you can get the powers again through the candy canes. I'm still trying to get clarity on that issue, as that functionality was not laid out in the design documents for this year's event.

Already had the badge .. I think ... anyway, seems to work like the V-Day stuff. If you got the stuff, last year, can't get it this year.

Yes, you can buy em again with Candy Canes.

When I did the FT mission, I chose the Golden Rings hold power and got nothing (NOTHING I TELL YA!). I'm presuming it's because I already had the corresponding Joyful badge. So, I went out and ran around opening presents until I got 20 candy canes and presto! I bought the Golden Rings power from the Elven Crypt Keeper.

So... unless they change the FT reward, there is no reason for any of my toons to do it... they all have the badges. It's candy huntin season.

Did they try to fix it so you can get the Temp Powers again from Father Time's mission and it didn't get fixed, or did you miss the feedback that it wasn't working the way your design documents laid out? Cause I also sent in a bug report that I didn't get Father Time's temp powers again.

The mission served its purpose as exposition as to why there are all these jingle jets around, but as far as the mission mechanics go, it was a fluff mission easily stealthed. Any excitement in it was for heroes who've never encountered Arachnos foes before.

I just accepted father Times quest,then once I noticed the drop off where the land ended,I decided to have alittle fun.I summoned my zombies,hovered over the fall,then watched and laughed as my zombies would fall,respawn,fall,respawn over and over again! XD
Any other MasterMinds do this?

Anyone know if the "Toy Collector" badge is available this year? As I recall, it was granted for opening 200 presents last Winter Event.

I just pulled a 22 second run with single slotted run, swift and SJ. No other speed enhancements. took me about half an hour to get my time that low.

So on my main villain badger the ski slope no longer starts the timer or give me the message to start my run. I've also /bug'd it in game. I'm waiting for the server reboot this morning to see if that resets it.

I would hope it is. Last night some nice Mind/FF troller was floating a Bots MM with all his bots out between one of the sets of poles.

I ran around and got a dozen+ in AP this morning early, and got all naughties...

this plain sucks. Yet another slap in the face - after last years debacle of having 35 alts get the powers and have them all nerfed AFTERWARDS. Now I pay for it again.

I am getting this too, on my lowbie brute I have opened about 50 presents so far and all were naughty. I am about to give up on this. Also about 1/4 baby new year missions are not completeable. As soon as you exit the cave with him he just runs off into the forrest never to be seen or heard from again. This seriously needs to be check. I know my team reseted like twice and it still kept happening.

(QR) The skiruns seem to be bugged. If you log off (and I assume DC) while the timer is still running. When you log back in the timer is not there (as if there is no timer running). You cannot start a new run though until you get the portals/gates you missed. Once you finish you will notice the timer has been running all that time after all even when you were not online. I already petitioned this (no reply yet).

I've only had this happen if the person he follows has any stealth. So, before you start walking away, make sure all stealth is off.

Also, as I recall, if everyone leaves the map and re-enters, he shows up in a defined place. I don't remember if it's outside the cave entrance or in the cave, but it was recoverable. (This year, I told my teams to be sure to have stealth turned off.)

My arcs are constantly shifting, just search for GadgetDon for the latest.
