Not entirely sure what some of the options are, but they sound kewl enough, lol.
Anyway, not liking surveying that well, but I decided to take this one anyway -
epic idle pose or epic dynamic pose.... Too hard to choose :X

Wait, no Geforce 300 series? I got a GT 310 and you went from 200 series to 400 ... Then again I´m not that into knowing which hardware is used for which kind of usage :X

Tell me, does it include drying up? And also the the one minute to have the shampoo do its job?
Seriously though, I do agree it´s getting tedious. The very first time it was epic to me (though it would have been more epic if it had voice-over >3 *runs*), but now ... it´s just tedious ^^"" -
I had e-mailed myself a few IOs to myself for another character. However the claim button overlapped both the spam button and the return button, because the e-mail tab was resized in height. When I clicked on the claim button, -which seemed to be on top-, I lost one of the emails without ever having gotten the attachment.
I immediately petitioned it and one of your awesome GMsm, who helped me address the problem. Not only did I find out not only did I mark myself as a spammer (trust me, it was not a way to tell you guys I can´t take it anymore and want to tell you guys, lol), I also managed to return the e-mail to myself. It resulted into that my email and the attachment being lost into an what seems to be an infinite loop of returns a.k.a. goodbye to your e-mail.
The GM suggested I would put my suggestion of forcing the (claim) button not to overlap other buttons when frames are resized to the forums, so here I am. Also it might be handy to disallow us to mark our own e-mails as spam and not being able to return to your own e-mails. I mean come on, why would you deliberately return your e-mails? ... Or mark yourself as a spammer for that matter, lol.
P.S. I could have sworn this forum had a feedback&suggestions board at one point. Must be getting old :X -
Lol, I never thought I would need to use that command when the memory usage is almost twice as much as usual when you just have rebooted the game. However thanks for the link. I do tend to use that slash-command after having played for a while, but that's not about this topic right now.
I'm sorry you think I wasted your time. However I did thank you and everyone else for trying to help and I did stress out several times that it is not normal for my game with my settings to hit above 1 gB, even in 'heavy' places and that I wanted to share this info. Don't take this as offensive, but I can't help it that you misread it. Sure, I could have written it all differently, but I thought I made myself clear enough several times. It just feels like this isn't going anywhere. I thought I was just trying to help and after a while things did more bad than good in here. That is why I want this topic to be closed. Not because I supposedly ragequitted.... The internet is a peculiar thing, where it is so easy to misunderstand a person or misread his/her intentions *sighs*.... -
Quote:I was saying to not bother suggesting it. You know, in new replies >.>Please show where he asked you to "buy more RAM". He simply asked how much you had.
You know what? Don't bother. Close this stupid topic. I was just trying to help the devs by stating there's a much higher than normal memory usage (I always check memory usage regularly in various demands of my computer, like raids, missions or outdoors and it's always been 600K - 700K for me) and all you people do is pointing at your own memory usage and that 1gB is normal for you. While I apreciate you're trying to help, you're obviously not listening. So, again, please close this topic. It's obvious it's not going the way I intended this to go. -
I usually got 2 gigs of RAM and I only have the necessary programs working whenever I play, so basically Windows is the only other memory hog and Norton, but that only uses 30K. And with normally 600K kB being used by CoX, 2 gigs is more than enough for me. I barely ever crash. BARELY EVER! So, please do not come with the suggestion to buy more RAM. This entry is not about my RAM nor my computer. It's about the game using up almost twice as much as usual and the suspicion why others tend to crash because of that same reason (but then of course from the usage of memory on their own computer ^^
.

Well, for me it always (well, at least for the past year or two) has been 600K, 700K in Grandville or other 'tend to be laggy' zones for me until today. So just because you got a 1+ gB, doesn't mean everyone else has that much too, lol. I was just stating the game uses almost twice as much as usual.
@Master Blade, it is a game freeze. Everything just stopped moving and there was a soundloop. Well, actually the first time I timed out in the loadingscreen, but I reckon same thing happened. I've only been stuck in loadingscreen like four times in the almost four years that I've played might I add. Also the window of CoX (playing windows mode, because graphics can go funky if I alt+tab, but that aside) itself wasn't responding to anything either. -
Before I start, I'd like to say this is not a ZOMG U SUKC!!!!eleventyone! entry, lol. I just want to share some info to help you guys make the game even better than it is and also hopefully get an answer on why it is happening.
I noticed a lot of crashing -usually game freezing- from various people on my team on Victory villains (don't ask). I too crashed twice. The second time the game crashed (just when I dinged 50 and tried to take a screenie @.@) I noticed according to the task manager the game was using over a 1.000.000 kB memory. When I rebooted the game, I noticed it was over one gB again just after loading fully back into the game. It normally takes the game around 600.000-700.000 for me, so there's where it started to daunt me. I mentioned this to some other players and they too noticed a much higher number than normal.
I cannot proof the freezing up of the game with both me and the others has to do with that high number, nor can I proof why that number is so unusually high. However I do think you guys might want to know about this and possibly look further into it. I did not post my computer info, because more people are experiencing the higher memory usage. However if you need more info, let me know and I'll try to help. -
Put the CohUpdater.exe temporarily in a different folder and thumbnail from there. I believe it's trying to update the updater at the same time you're running it.

Hmm... so it's not just me. I guess I'll come back in a few hours to check the none-QQ and no-nonsense posts...

Yay! It is on the forms now. On a site it said something about getting to level 60, changing the color of our powers, going to the moon. I hope this comes when I am on summer break!
Found the link : D http://www.massively.com/2008/08/09/...cox-direction/
[/ QUOTE ]
I'd hate to burst your bubble, but level 60 is not happening. If you read that closely you would see he said enhancements that bring us to a hypothetical level 60.
Which is probably going to make my bubbler even happier.

That link is full with suggestions players have made. I think they've been trolling the wrong forums, lol -
After seeing all of these pics makes me think that... the Cyborg pack sucks compared to the Magic pack and that's coming from someone that LOVES tech stuff T.T"

So will you be crediting our accounts for the extra loss of game time?
[/ QUOTE ]
They reserve 2 hours of maintenance per day during work days actually. Take that part into your 15 bucks of a month and the fact that CoH/V barely has maintenance let alone the full 2 hour ones. Now deduct the off-time of today from that. You'll notice we really owe them, not the other way around. So next time you try to get money from someone, do the math first.
Cheer up, guys. The devs are working hard to get this right. If you can't see it that way, then you may need some anger management -

Now we just have to make sure that when they 'fix' this, they also add in a blank symbol
[/ QUOTE ]
Agreed, there is a limit to when using too many symbols everywhere gets a bit too dazzling @.@ -
(QR) lol, the 51 one feels like a nothing more than a rehash, but what worries more is the fact it feels like I'm trying to catch up, but I'll always stay 200 yards behind so to speak (because I am 18 months behind of the latest vet reward), lol.

Love the joke at the bottom (above credits) >3 Was thinking that exact same thing when I logged in just to see I have like 20 -prolly more- of those RMT-emails

*moving Typo Faery to the training room now in the hopes he will get invited for the ceremony* XD

I can't help but get itchy when I see the formulas in the title banner of that article. Reminds me too much of my education of mechanical engineering that I'm following XD Either way, it sounds quit interesting, so I wanna check it out soon

This is a fabulous idea, and I would dearly love to participate.
However, it's fast moving out of my league.
Why don't you add some smaller items? T-shirts, bumper-stickers, that sort of thing, get 'em signed by devs. Items that are not likely to cross the 3 digit mark.Maybe get Troy Hickman to autograph the CoH comics he wrote.
Like I said, I'd love to participate... but this is too rich for my blood.
[/ QUOTE ]
It's pretty naive to think those are going for cheap. They're collector's items, lol
Anyway, I'm glad the price is going up nicely for Child's Play :3 -
I absolutely love the idea, but I'm not so sure I should trust the fact NCSoft has gone ebay XD
I would love to have helped too, but the prices already are higher than I can afford right now (especially since I already did X-mas shopping @.@). Anyway, good luck with gaining a good amount of money to give to Child's Play :3
