Edition 26 of "The City Scoop" a publication for Supers by Supers!

Well I dont think there is any news that can top what the City of community heard this week. The Scoops cover story is about the acquisition of City of Heroes & City of Villains IP by NCsoft. This is big news for everyone! Also is it just me or is the art section something that just blows you away?

Nice work as usual to the City Scoop krewe.

Question to LadyK on the shawarma recipe: 3 tbsp of cardamom? The other ingredients seemed pretty reasonable, but that appeared to me to be excessive. Holler if you see this and can elaborate.

Sorry to be a nit-picker, but shouldn't your " Hero " who is chosen to represent something positive and heroic maybe not be overjoyed about [u]killing[u] people?

I enjoy the city scoop, but just had to say something about the murderess who ignores the same laws that protect her for personal satisfaction.

Apparently heroes are only villians that get parades and a brand of sugar cereal named after them.

I generally don't test or try the "Recipe of the Week" submissions. I will ask the recipes originator if this is too much. Thanks for pointing that out.

Thanks much. My guess is 3 cardomom pods based on other recipes that use those spices. Looking forward to trying it.

*I* am the one who sent lady K the recipe. And well I made up this decently sized batch to make about 2-3lbs of shwarma. Not for teeny recipes that's for sure. The proportions are each tablespoon = 1 part make sense?

I only use pre-ground spices..because that's all I can find..

Thanks for the elaboration. I freaked when I first read it since freshly ground cardomom is a bit overpowering.

I'll give it a stab soon, since it seems like stabbing season...

I only ask the questions on this, I was confused as to what this player wanted to do with her interview half the time I think she was in character the other out of character. Not even sure if english was the player's first lanquange.

Again I am not responsible for what PLAYERS respond with. I handle the out of character interviews. Encounters is the in character interviews.

Three cheers for you in doing what you do, myself and I'm sure the vast majority of the players appreciate the effort you put out. I did not intent to insult your interview.

I play on Virtue and I think we are slightly different animals then most of the servers.

My comments are born due to my personal pet peeve as a full time villain on a "unofficial" role play server on heroic characters who are just villains who got in the wrong line, and everyone turns a blind eye.

I just wanted to add a minor correction to the classified ad that leads to This Post, Veterans Day, unlike many other holidays, isn't observed on the most convenient Monday, it is on November 11th whatever day of the week it happens to be, this year it is on a Sunday, so many people don't get the long weekend you get with, say, Labor Day.

I understand that the in game event is scheduled for the 12th and I am, by no means, critical of the event itself. I think such an event is a very honorable thing to have here in the City of franchise.

Hmm. In Canada (at least BC), we had a statutory holiday on the 9th for Rememberance Day (11th).
