GM, people using powers, somebody mezzed (the GM, methinks, if that counts), Rikti Invasion
Dead player
...Wait. Am I doing this right? Hmm...
This should be something villainous...if it ain't, it should get a point for just being cool
Something blue, people in a line, partying trolls (heh)
I'm going to get soo banned for that last tagline
Base portal (think about it)
anywho, that's enough getting it wrong from me -
love this thread. 4 srs, guys. <3
Really reminds me why the City of franchise is my absolute favorite- the best community in the entire realm of MMO's.
Let's take for example the last City Scoop couples-feature. If you had a gay couple prominently featured anywhere else, like on the WoW forums, then everyone would be crying 'lolghey' or some junk like that. Here, everyone's just like 'awesome, let's all head to pocket d and grab a beer' or something.
And here, we have a little 6 year old girl who can manage to play the game and be a better sport than most 21 year olds in online games. Truly, this is simultaneously extremely hilarious and extremely saddening. (Plus it's teaching her things! And people say video games aren't good for anything.) And to this little girl, again, the community is like 'awesome, let's head to pocket d and grab a juice box'.
But I digress. Ish.
I love you all. (except for you, PWNZ. (kidding!)) This game is just like a great friend to me- not only does it provide a fun diversion, but it's something I can just jump on and chat with people about whatever is on my mind and we all remain friendly. Rarely, if ever, is any sort of insult thrown across without a sarcastic and humorous tone to it.
So thanks. Thanks for everything. I'm going to be staying with this game for a while, just 'cause of you all.
Okay, serious part over. You may all resume your normal lives now. -

Groovy? Seriously, I mean, come on.
Rad is where it's at.
[/ QUOTE ]
More like rad/rad, amirite?!
Okay, sorry, had to make that joke myself.
Anywho, what is this announcement telling us other than the previous announcement concerning the acquisition except in fancier words?
I mean, I personally don't see the purpose, but whatever floats your boats, new overlords. -
Hot dang.
Best Valentine's Day event, EVER. -
We're good like that.
-
So...how many rickrolls are we planning to get here?
Sorry, someone was going to say it and it might as well have been me.
Anywho, this could turn out very interesting. Looking forward to some fan videos. -

Finding out my gamertag is not impossible without me posting in the Gamertag Exchange. I know one CoH player who already found it and added me to his friends list.

. o O (Perhaps... Positron? Naaah, too easy...)
[/ QUOTE ]
Positron's gamertag is easily visible on his blog.
(To all those who go, "WAAAA??? Positron has a blog!", it's a very occasionally updated blog. No, I won't tell you how to find it. Finding the blog can be the millstone around your neck if you really have to know.)
[/ QUOTE ]
Yeah, I need to post something... maybe you guys can give me ideas for topics of discussion.

I like the idea of villain epic archetypes! -

Who wants to bet that it's Positron?

Its not Positron.
Is there a badge for these scavenger hunts, Positron? Mind you, I'm not specifically asking for one, just inquiring if one exists.

I can see it now.

I have to say, the skiing trials were about as much fun as having my teeth pulled sans anesthetic.
The rest of the winter event is as fun as always, though. -

He *is* adorable. Even if there were enough arrows in the world to fight a giant baby (which clearly there aren't) I don't think I could fire on him...too cute!

Wait wait wait...
You spend billions of dollars to invent an Enema Arrow, and yet you can't spend Five Bucks and some spare change to buy a rattle and tie it to a shaft?
[/ QUOTE ]
I've been looking for a new arrow maker Liquid, hows your inventing?
[/ QUOTE ]
Well, I don't want to brag, but just last night I combined Sliced Apples, Dough, and Cinnamon to invent Pie.
Now all we need to do is tie one of these Moistest Fruit Pies to an arrow shaft, and you have a distracting treat that no villain could resist!
[/ QUOTE ]
That will leave a sticky mess in your quiver.

So many ways to interpret that sentence...so little time...
Grats to the Diaper Decimator! Make sure he gets his vitamin XP every night. -
Forgot to mention that the Cruelty of the Week is essentially villain news, for those that forgot about it (I don't blame you).
-
Whazzawhowhatnow?!
What are THIS?!!
Before embracing our new overlords with a smile on my face and a cookie in my pocket, I'm going to wait and see how this turns out. -
Ah, CoV. Why is it practically nobody plays this? (...on Infinity, anywho)
(notes lack of villain-only content)
Oh. Right.
Moving on from stubborn mandatory bellyaching, happy birthday Villains! Let's get in there and give them heroes heck! -

There's one fact that people are missing. Something from the 45+ patron arcs, and the 15-20 Cap au Diable arcs.
HIGH END VILLAIN PLOT POINTS FOLLOW
Dr. Aeon already has the ability to time travel, he doesn't need help from anyone.
During the final Patron Arc you are diverted temporally and brought before Dr. Aeon from 15 years in the future, one where your villain and Recluse have destroyed the world with your infighting. When you defeat Aeon, he activates a teleporter, mentioning fighting you before you gain power.
Scroll back thirty levels, and we find Dr Echo, and older version of Aeon. Through several missions we track him down, and find him stealing an invention that is used to divert a timer traveler, if his destination is known. When we get to the end, we see Echo talking to someone that looks similar to Aeon. This Aeon is the one from 15 years in the future. Dr Echo, knowing when he was going to show up, diverts future Aeon, with dire news about his plan, then when your villain shows up he points you to Tarikoss.
When you beat both doctors they both hit temporal teleporters. I'm not sure if you are able to stop Echo or not, it's been a while since I've payed close attention to the arc, but I'm convinced it's future Aeon that is now reported working on the Etoile Isles President 70 years ago.

Ding ding ding! We has a winner!
Also, curse you Devs for making more and more mysteries yet to be solved. ARGH
EDIT: All better now. -
Somehow, this made me want to play i10 even more although I've been playing it for a while now on test.
That was awesome. -
I'd like to add that my article this week wasn't filler. At all.
What are you all insinuating?!
*runs off, mumbling assorted paranoid things* -
So, did I read between the lines correctly in that there is going to be an escalated amount of Rikti appearing in all zones prior to teh invasion?
Meaning return of the epic global events? (i.e. The Council-5th Column War)
