Very nice!! Might try for some widescreen ones plus I know there's at least one loony out there running at 2048x1536. And you really should hide the spoiler one behind something. Don't get rid of it (it's my favorite!), just hide it behind a "ZOMG s01l3z!" link or something.
I would have to agree.. some widescreen wallpapers would be nice for those of us running widescreen monitors (I know.. we're still the small minority) Indeed they are nice for those who can se them though. ^_^

Awesome, I was thinking recently that the wallpaper section needed an update. Since the last one was around I2 on the CoH Side I think.
An idea though, whip these up before the issue launches as promotional materials and distribute them to the news sites.

I'm not too worried about the spoilers. I do realize it's an issue for a few people, but there have been a lot of "teases" about that particular element over the last few weeks, and it will soon be fairly common knowledge. (And I do apologize if I ruin the surprise for anyone, as I can be touchy about that kind of thing, but I don't think we can easily put a "spoiler!" warning over the image. I'll mull it over.)
As for Widescreen variants....hmm. I confess it never crossed my mind. Let me discuss with the graphic design dudes, and see what's possible. Probably won't happen for a little bit, as they are super busy, but I'll certainly bring it up.

If nothing else, others with a border would help - I can use the bordered ones on my 1680x1050 and just have a black background. Doesn't work *quite* as well with the full ones.

It can't be much of a spoiler when the image of him is already plastered all over the cover of comic issue 20.
