*Disclaimer* This poll is for the active PvP Community to determine where the most active PvP community already exists so they can mobilize their efforts during server transfers to help establish and build a stronger PvP community.

If we're going to put any work into making a PvP server, might as well go ahead and make a total PvP server with no PvE required...or allowed!

Ultimately, the ideal solution, which I'm sure everyone would love, would be to have cross-server PvP. But I'm sure that goes hand in hand with that idea to perhaps one day have a server-less system, so here's hoping

I now exist on Guardian and Pinnacle. I very much hope that all the PvPers move to one server. And I hope that server is not Guardian or Pinnacle.

I'm just as interested in PvP as I have always been, which is to say I like it, I participate in it, and I do my best to try to ignore a lot of the ugliness that accompanies it.

That said, I still support the idea of cross-server PvP-- you can read my idea in my post.

At the same time, if my server were tapped to be the "unofficial" PvP server, I would want to know what, if anything, the devs would be willing to do to help Saint Joe's relocate to another server. If the answer to that question is "nothing," then I'd rather see another server get tapped.

Saying that a server is now the "unofficial PvP server" carries more complications than whether PvP'ers would pay to transfer to the new server. You need to consider the people who would want to leave that server as a result.

A big heck yeah to that, I'd hate to have to evacuate from one of my home servers to avoid the PvP gankers.

I felt a great disturbance in the force... as if a million blasters cried out "PL MEH!"... and were suddenly /ignore'd.

1/10th of the zones on any server are PvP zones. Just stick to the other 9/10ths and you won't get ganked.

But that's the point, I don't have to worry much about that now getting Shivans or Nukes, why should we be exiled from content because we have no desire to deal with the ganker attitude?

I don't care about any of that. I just don't want the population levels on Pinn and Guar to go up at all.

Shivan and Nuke rewards were balanced around gankers. Think of it this way... if all the PvP'ers move to one server, there are 7 others were you can pretty much farm them uninterrupted without any risk whatsoever.

While having voluntary PvP is great, alot of us worry that if one or two servers are chosen for unofficial PvP, the population of that server would become too high for those of us with lower end systems to be able to actively play on it. Thus, we would have to leave our home server and any SG bases we are constructing and start all over on a less populated server, without any apologies or compensation from the administration. IMO, if a customer's home base server is affected by this and they contact a CRC like you or Lighthouse and let them know that they have to do a mass exodus from the server, that customer should be compensated in the form of like one free Character Transfer. If they are like me and have ten characters to move, giving them one freebie is not going to hurt the company that much, and still makes the customer happy as well as makes the company look caring to the plight of the customer. Just a suggestion, and I hope it is well received.

I don't have anything really against PvP in general, and dabble in it myself on a very casual basis, but I have zero interest in seeing my "home" overrun by the "hardcore PvP" crowd (and truthfully, it's the wanna-be-hardcore-PvPers that are the issue, a lot of the true PvPers want good competition, not the gankfest and uber-smack-talk that I fear would go with a designated server).

Perhaps a new server, with players allowed one free transfer to the server for the first weeks after it opens. If nothing else, it would put everyone on equal footing as far as bases, etc., and it would avoid the "not in my backyard" backlash from herding PvPers onto a pre-existing server.

Why would anyone want to move to Freedom for PvP? It is already over crowded to the point where it lags horribly, and if and when there is another double XP weekend good luck with that. To top it off the arena is always so dead there. They had no one show for their SMP while the other servers (except Virtue who failed to get more than a single group) had at least 3 and Infinity got 7 full teams to come out for it.

My only hope, is that Guardian gets ignored as far as the PvP'rs go. Which seems to be the general consensus.

So once again, if one of my home servers is selected I have to move away to escape something that pretty much does not exist as of now. I really fail to see how this benefits the vast majority of the players who have either limited or no interest in PvP.

Lots of us deliberately chose servers with little or no PvP and low populations for a reason. We have no desire to see our home become another Freedom.

Yeah Guardian and Pinnacle are the crowd favourites all right.

You might want to breath into a paper bag for a minute or two, just until that panic attack subsides.

I dont want to move to Freedom, I want to stay here. If Freedom gets picked then that means I dont have to pay 10$ and I dont have to go through the PITA of switching servers. I'm sure most players are thinking along the same lines as me and since Freedom has the highest population.. well there you go.

Also I'm sure that a lot of Freedom Players will want to move to other servers to avoid the lag. Not everyone on Freedom wants to be in the most populated server. So I'm thinking server populations will even out after a while.
