It's not a costume contest - those take way too long to judge and people come in to Pocket D all the time.
What we do is give out titles to people who have good costumes (and well, some not so good ones too). These are temporary titles that last for a few days (real time) then go poof. For each of the events we have done, they have been titles appropriate for the event. In this case for our Freaky Friday the 13th, we were giving out things like "TGIF the 13th" or "The Curse" or "Freakster" and even "Bad to the Bone".

Sure I spend my Friday night beating on BAB's baby in the Abyss on you folks hang out on my home server. **grumble grumble grumble**
I noticed this was going on when I popped into Pocket D to switch zones quickly. There were quite a few in there with those titles, and a few more outside of the truck in Kings Row.
I probably just missed it. >_>

I show up too late in the Abyss for the raid and miss out on the excitement back at home on Guardian. Guess it was Friday the 13th. I'll just have to find some mission with a Hero to whack to cheer me up now.

Here is a list of servers we have been to so far:
Justice, Infinity, Liberty, Pinnacle, Protector, Triumph, Guardian, & Virtue.
Leaving Champion, Freedom, & Victory on deck.
What we are doing is creating small, spontaneous events that will not be announced so that people who are online at that time will get the lucky rewards of coming out and participating.
Now, we will also have several announced activities, so don't you fret.
The reason for the spontaneous events is that we can schedule them in but if things get busy then we can shift and make arrangements to alter the schedule, lets just say it gives us a bit of breathing room.
So the first one we did was around St. Patricks Day, we did an April Fools Day, Spring Gala, and the last one was centered around Freaky Friday.
w00tradio.net has gone with us each time to document the occasion, so look there for more pictures.
And don't worry "there's a lot up our sleeves."

Positive things, I applaud it whole heartedly.
The only thing worse than devs making bad decisions is the hoard of fanboys and bootlickers that keep cheering them on.
This may not be something that'd be possible, but is there

Yeah, be warned when visiting freedom. You never know when there will be some one who is really REALLY mad at the devs for nerfing/death/bad hair day/ spilt coffee on themselves. Its all the devs fault, absolutly all of it! Nah, but i have this feeling it will be during the day or a time when I wont be able to play...like on one of my "off" weekends.
I say we have a server dev watch program. If you see a dev, talk and then calmly run away screaming there is a dev at X location.
