Just wanted to compliment you on your excellent character designs. Do your characters have multiple costumes? Or do you just come up with a concept that you like and stick with it for that character?
Anyway, good work and keep it coming!

Thanks Captain!
Generally all my characters are built around some concept. Almost all have detailed background stories. This usually means that if I can get one costume out of it that satisfies my idea of what the character is, then that's good enough for me. It's true that all the major heroes have gone through multiple looks but they also all seem to go back to there original. I normally fill up the other costume slots with palette swaps.
Looks Great!
Wow this looks great! Cant wait ti see more from you!
Here's another of Hammerforge. The background shot on this was really pleasing to me. It's often hard to catch that perfect moment before contact between two combatants. I got lucky with this one.
Hammerforge!

Nice concept...
You really need to join us Silvermoon folk for some of our MoSTF runs Forge. @23x and @hopper usually lead them on weekend nights.
Another awesome wallpaper, and that combat shot is terrific. It so evokes the earth-shattering kaboom that's about to follow.

Ahhhh Monday maintenance. Always a good time to tinker with Photoshop.
I decided to give DB a shot since I tried WP and liked it so much. I swear I will never level another toon to 50.... Then I try a new powerset and, well, you know. /e sigh
I really like how fast BD is, it seems to really go hand in hand with SR. If my Kat/SR is any indication this guy is really gonna rock at 50. Going with the speed/untouchable theme, I was thrilled to get the tag Turbo Blue. Turbo Blue is racing gasoline for anyone who doesn't know.
Turbo Blue!
I will concede that the costume is a bit of a ripoff of an older costume I did a year ago for a costume contest. I was fortunate enough to win some awesome free atrz from Lady J! Sadly The Crimson Inspiration never saw much playtime and got deleted a while back. Still got awesome artz though
Well, I always liked that costume and I think it was really meant for this guy anyway.
Thanks for looking!
That's a very cool costume, I must say.

Hello Heroes!
This is my new scrapper. I have been wanting to build a "buzzsaw" scrapper for awhile now but I thought I might add a bit of spice by going DM/WP instead of the traditional /SR. So far the results at level 30 are very promising. I have to say that Hammerforge has made me fall very hard for willpower. I would say it's my favorite powerset atm.
The concept for this wallpaper has been kicking around in my head for a long time. I am happy with the results but I can't say for sure if this one is done yet or not. You know me, I like to tinker so this one might get an update.

Very small change here but it made for such a much more dramatic picture I thought I would throw it up here anyway. I just darkened the background and boosted the contrast a bit. It seemed to really enhance the mood. Feels much spooookier. It also seems to draw my eye to the other figures a bit more which is good. The previous version seems very washed out to me now.
Thanks for looking.

Hello Heroes!
It's been awhile but I couldn't stay away! Just a quickie to get me back in the swing of things. I may edit this one some more or just call it good enough and move on to another when I have more of a theme in mind.
Godbreaker!
Thanks for looking.

Excellent background choice.
Which font is that? (I have a new PC and have to rebuild my font collection.)

Pretty awesome! I love the font ;3
Though I almost think since the background is space-y, some Rikti ships might be cool.

What costume creator are you using because mine's broken (apparently lol).
You've got what is perhaps the best collection of costumes I've ever seen.

Agreed.
Another great costume Powerforge.
Thanks for the kind words guys!
I really think I'll continue to work on this next one. I was very happy with the initial pose of the character but was struggling with what to do in the background. Just as a placeholder I reused the background from the last one and really liked the result. I still feel like I copped out a bit though so it will probably get modified in some way.
Godbreaker part deux!

Hello Heroes!
I'm happy with this one! The whole thing came together pretty well. I have done the TV monitor effect before but this time I really liked it. This is also my submission to the COH Costume Contest.

Very sweet costume and wallpaper, I love the talosarian blade and they cyborb parts/aura.
Hello Heroes!
Well Psilocin gets his paper today. Hit level 40 and I am still having a good time with this guy. Highest I have ever made it with a blaster. He just might see 50!
Psilocin was my attempt to create a hero that I personally found scary. While comics abound with the mysterious heroes that are supposed to inspire fear in the bad guys most of them really don't seem to scary to me. That's all subjective of course, what scares me most likely won't scare someone else.
Creating a wallpaper for this toon was a challenge to me. I have seen a ton of stuff to draw inspiration from on DA. I was trying to create something that felt twisted from reality. I have seen plenty of collage type wallpapers that mix a lot of scary images together and it always looked really hard to do to me. I am happy with the results of my first effort in this though. Nothing seems to dominate which is what I wanted. The skeletal figure is easy to see but that's ok.
Here's Psi's bio if you're interested. He is a Psi/Ice blaster.
1941:
Roger Stevens wasn't too bright but he loved his country. When WWII began all Stevens wanted was to serve the USA in it's battle against the Nazis.
At 17 he faked his way into the army in an attempt to aid the US.
A small division of the service was tasked with seeking out new recruits who showed unusual potential and unlocking said potential for military use. Surprisingly the armies psychics identified Roger as a possibility.
After volunteering for the extensive treatment he was deemed unsuccessful. But the money was spent. The hero was needed. Told that his power would manifest when he needed it most Roger, newly christened "The American Man" was sent into action with his 12 year old sidekick "Rascal".
The disaster that followed was almost totally expunged from military databases and only recently became public knowledge over 60 years later.
Captured on his first mission by the 5th column, America's Greatest Patriot watched in horror as Rascal was murdered before his eyes. The 5th column had plans of their own for Roger. Their scientists also identified him as having great untapped potential.
The lead scientist was a man name Dr. Oktober. His methods of unlocking Roger's potential were cruel at best and torturous at worst. What happened to Roger during the following 7 months has never been disclosed.
When Allied forces finally located Roger what they found shocked them. Stevens was a cripple, physically and mentally, but his assailants were all dead or worse. The survivors had literally no mind. Their psyches burnt to ash. Dr. Oktober was nowhere to be found.
Stevens was given an honorable discharge and admitted to Riverside hospital for ongoing Psychic evaluation and physical therapy. He was released after 4 years.
2008:
The American Man, now age 83, lives a life of near poverty in King's Row. Quiet and forgotten Roger looks surprisingly well for all he experienced in his youth. His few acquaintances say he doesn't look a day over 50.
The sudden appearance of the costumed villain Dr. October in King's Row coincides with the arrival of the vigilante Psilocin.
Roger, however is completely unaware of this.
At least while he is awake.
Psilocin
This may see some modification in a few days, you know me.
