Haha that IS a great idea. Unfortunately SB is probably not gonna be played. . I already have a SS/Inv Tanker at 50 and I just cant see myself doin it all over again. I would invite anyone who wants to grab the name and costume to do it though. If you wanna roll on Infinity lemme know and I'll delete him so you can get the name!

If I wasn't leaving in 2 weeks (holy crap, that soon?) I would totally take Short-bus.

I use an older version of Photoshop. Photoshop 7.

As for feeling bad about SB, well don't! He's totally a hero through and through! He just hates bullies of all types from the playground to Nemesis. Don't let the name fool you into thinking he's a mockery, not at all! He's brave and courageous and knows what's right when so many folks don't.

Those are freaking AWESOME!

How do you such clean shots of the characters? Every time I try it, it comes out like booty, because I either cut too much off the character, or the character gets a 'bleedthrough' of the background.

I probably throw out 10 X the amount of pictures I use lol. I just take tons! I will generally set the screen resolution considerably higher when I am trying for screengrabs just so that I can enlarge the image later and it won't look blurry.

Oh sorry, I guess I only announced it on the Envisionaries forums (wich you need to be a part of, sir) that I got a job offer for the rest of the year that will take me away without a computer. So i'll be gone until next year...unless at some point I am able to afford a Laptop in wich case I will return with very minor appearances.

Unfortunetly with the kind of job it is I won't be able to get Overtime.

You see I am a Sound & Lighting Designer for professional theatre and this job is as an Assisstant to the Resort/Theatre's current Sound & Lighting Designers, and hopefully if I enjoy working with the company and they enjoy me, it will lead to me becoming their permanent Sound & Lighting designer for their entire season next year.

So with that, Overtime is impossible, but I get paid ALONG with Room & Board so it will be easier to not spend my money on such trivial stuff as housing a "food".

No wallpaper this time I'm afraid I9 has me playin too much for arts!

However I do have something for ya! In my first wallpaper thread there were several folks interested in the action I used to create the lightning effects. Unfortunately I was not able to find it again to pint you too it on the web. However I finally have!

This is the one I use for many of the lightning effects. It's possible to deconstruct it in your hitsory and then modify the process to add lightning to whatever you like.

Hopefully Ill have a new paper to show after Father's Day. Pale American is 40 now so it wont be long till he needs a 50 reward

I have to say, I think your costume design is second to none, and your wallpapers are pure brilliance. Keep up the superb work!

Hello Heroes!

Well The Pale American hasn't hit 50 yet but I decided to work on this one anyway . The idea was to get a very street level hero-type. Daredevil comes to mind, or Batman of course. To do that I really felt King's Row was the place to shhot the background. After loading up on pictures of water towers I felt that the far background in all my shots could really benefit from some sort of heavy industrialized look so off I went to Crey's Folley. Finally I really wanted to get an image of PA on some sort of gargoyle or statue. This last idea was scrapped later because it just didnt feel right in the final composite at all. In any event, I am pleased witht he results but think this one feels like it might benefit from a few tweaks yet. You know me, I can't leave em alone.

I thought it would maybe be interesting to post all the screenshots I used for the final composite so hereyago!

Well, The Pale American made 50 awhile back but I have been lazy. Actually I have had too much fun playing him to break away and create . I pulled myself away from Paragon City last night to build another paper for him though.

I feel I need to address something with this one though. It's possible that this piece could be misinterpreted as unpatriotic. That's not my intent at all. Please read PA's bio if you have any misgivings along those lines. He comes from an apoctolyptic version of America's future. Hence all the fire etc.

Well I had some free time on my hands this morning so I went searching through my screenshot folder for some fodder for a new wallpaper. I am not totally happy with this one but it turned out OK. I feel that there is a bit of a disparity between the colors. This has to do mostly with PA's red costume. He also has a dark purple one and a black/dark grey one with a purple aure. Either of those two would have improved this I think but, alas, I had to work with shots already taken (silly maintenance).
So this is the result. I played around with Photoshop a bit to create the cape. If only Sechsie Jay would give me a cape like that.

All in all I odn't feel it's as strong an offering as the last one but who knows. I may go take those shots with the different costumes and see what happens.

Funny thing, I have stepped away a bit and come back to look at this. I like it a bit more than I did. The overall result seems to be a good bit of, well, red white, and blue. That's not a bad thing really.

Very small tweak to this one to add a glow.
