Gauntlet and Taunt Auras don't work on AVs anymore

Then that means they should trash all taunt mechanics (even Gauntlet if you insist to think its not taunt) off the window.

Safe to say that won't be happening, but at least Gauntlet may be changed to work on some of the baddies in question again.

Do you really think there is no equivalent of Taunt commonly seen in comics? If anything, I'd think the comic book idiom exaggerates the effectiveness of such a tactic, at least in comparison to what one might expect in a more "realistic" modern combat setting.

I think its more likely that Gauntlet entirely disapears before it works again on AVs. Not that either will happen but its way more likely.

There is, but it rarely works on anything with more IQ than the common street thug or minnion for hire.

It is true however than in RL taunting a street thug may make him take hostages or kill innocents faster though.

Taunt in comics is more a debuff than anything else.

Spider-Man taunting Doc Ock keeps his attention somewhat, but really, Spidey does it 'cos it usually makes him do something stupid. If Doc Ock is intent on actually doing something, he's perfectly capable of ignoring Spidey's taunts.

"Realistically" speaking, Taunt should be a low-level debuff to DEF and ACC which has a really high hate rating so that when you build up enough applications, the enemy in question will stop what they're doing and take a few swipes at you, then go back to trying to acheive their actual objective again unless you force them to keep their attention on you.

Also: kewpie dolls do not come in Iron Vixen. Blame Circ for the trademark and patent.

Or, piss their pants and cower or run away. In comics they seldom go "Hey guys, that big hulking guy just called me out, I think we should go kick his [censored]."

The only definite Taunters in comic books are Spiderman, Robin, Blue Beetle, Booster Gold (when he was hanging with Beetle, pre-Kord-death), Flash (any of the four), etc. Notice that none of these are comic book Bricks.

minor to-hit debuff, minor damage increase.
