How sad. I recently had cause to PM Cuppa. Received a prompt response of a single word.
That single word now has a special meaning -- that word which hitherto was like any other series of letters now has been plucked from the multitude and been raised to a position of honor.
Similarly, the name "CuppaJo" will be retired and raised to a position of honor in the COX community. And with this sendoff, I will with fear and trembling break down the forum walls and say:
April, you were truly the soul (and conscience) of the forums. May you continue to be the "thin blue line" wherever you find yourself.
If we vote you as Governor of Rhode Island, you have to stay.
...right?

Please forgive if this is emblazoned on the PAX website somewhere, but are you attending the con in some official capacity? Will you be stationed at the Tabula Rasa booth or something along those lines? If so, is there a time when you'll be free to go slouch about?
I'm hoping an actual Seattlelite will take up the mantle of barcrawl organiz-- errr, post-con meet-n-chill, but until then I'll feign competence.

I still remember when I found out you were a woman. 
The Cuppa Clones will remain...I guarantee. Thank you for the honoring us everyday by being one of us and not have the "mightier than thou" attitude some other admins have (in other communities) To think of all the time I missed between my boards registering and actually becoming part of it.
I say we all hit Atlas and Mercy at a given date and time and all do the Drink emote in honor of Cuppa. I can start on Guardian...just lets get a time agreed on.
We will miss you and love you Cuppa (not to say some of us won't go to TR boards to drop a line now and then )
