I wish my 5 year old would learn to play herself.. she just forces me to make tons of bizarre lookin characters with embarrassing names (skywalkr? puuke? meowgirl?) and then I have to run around and actually play them for her. *shiver*
8 foot tall neon green/red/purple/blue/yellow zombie catgirl archery blasters named rosabelle ftl. FTL!! -

I am ..your father.
Wth, 14 pages and no darth vader?! -
Where were all you serious people when I needed you?
I use the terms toon and alt because they are short, tidy, and accurate descriptions. Character is too long and char is sloppy and sounds strange in my head. I like toon, I mean, that is what it is, and I don't think the fact that I refer to them that way should imply that I'm some sort of buffoon. -
Man I'd hate to see how you guys would react if someone actually died as opposed to someone simply leaving for a new job. O.o More than one scene in this thread deserves a Daytime Emmy!
Anyway - good luck and have fun Cuppa. -
I bet they wouldn't mind giving villains a chance to catch up either. *shrug*

Thats a shame. My boyfriend managed to get the car (from propel of course) up into the crowd under Atlas hoping it would spark some kind of soccer game. We didn't know that no one else could see it.
(Edited for grammar!) -
For some reason I think classifying it as a giant monster would cause no small amount of confusion... Ahhh! Its a big red.. giant! monster ..ball?
Seems like temp power would work well, kind of like snowballs. Do some task, get a ball for 3 days. Accolade seems as far-fetched as calling it a GM. -
I actually had the most fun in RV with my squishy characters, I guess because I went in without expectations. (I know zip about PvP and still don't like it a whole heck of a lot, but hey, when in Rome, do as the Romans do!)
My fire/thermal character was an absolute blast. I have a lowbie one on the live server and decided to see what the level 40 version would be like, and wow! I'll be playing her some more. The blasts, the debuffs.. not to mention the self heal, which I needed. A LOT. :P I think I actually killed one or two people, and had a couple tanks running away from me at one point.
I also tried an elec/elec blaster. I play my level 18 one on live like a stalker (blapping isn't for me >:P) and did the same in RV. Worked out rather well, stayed stealthed, aim, build up, snipe. Not sure I killed anyone but I made it easier for other people to get the kill. I died a hella lot though.
I also tried my ninja/ninja stalker, which sucked, utterly. I couldn't seem to hit anyone at all (ie miss, miss, miss, even with two accuracies in everything) and I kept having my auto power 'un' auto for some reason. The mez protection one. :/
I also tried an elec/elec brute. Didn't do any fighting as I just wanted to see the powers basically. I can forgive the.. red.. because looking like a mini deathsurge makes up for that.(Speaking of - how about changing voltaic sentinal to look like a purply hero version of a Cap gremlin?)
Anyway, I had fun with this event, it might even be my new favorite event. Its incredibly helpful to be able to look into the futures of your characters. -
ROFL I love this idea. I'd so play with a ball if I ran into one somewhere.

To set the record straight: When you read from the veterans that they hate Blind invites, they are talking about invites to people who have NOT broadcasted LFT messages!
[/ QUOTE ]
You mean, they don't like getting invites when they don't have their LFT flag on. Use teamseek, not broadcast to make/join teams, pleeeeease. -
For anyone confused on how to use teamseek and put their LFT flag on, this is a screenshot of my character Thistle.
LFT
She is looking for any, has a search comment, and has clicked the "find member" button to see who else on the infinity server is looking for any or looking for missions.
Now, any other hero can see that she wants a team from any zone and even on mission maps. All they need to do is enter the search parameters they want (level, AT, zone, whatever), right click the name to invite or send a tell. -

6. If you are new to the game, it is sometimes advisable to say in broadcast, "Level So and so, looking for experienced players to team." Generally, there is someone who can answer questions and/or team with you that can teach you a few things that will greatly increase you and your teams survivability.

Looks pretty good but I just *have* to disagree with this one.
I know that people have always used broadcast to find teams. But lately its becoming more and more common; its spreading like a disease and players are either forgetting how to use teamseek or just never learning to use it in the first place.
For example, the level 16 blaster in Atlas Park, spamming broadcast over and over today, LFT.. LFT.. LFT.. I clicked on search and sure enough, no LFT flag on. Regardless of my growing unease with the way in which people create/form teams now, I was polite. I suggested turning his looking for missions/any flag on, and trying another zone.
Please, guys. We have teamseek for a reason. If you are hoping to get on a team with experienced players, type it in your search comments and turn the little white circle or little green diamond thingie on. The experienced players will see it, read it, and invite you. Spamming broadcast for teams only serves the break down the system; it is simple, and effective. -
Nice job
*is grateful for not being colorblind*
I don't know about anyone else but rows M N and O make me hungry for toast, real bad! -
You get a rather nifty temp power after fighting him too.
-
Ah so the masks are made of actual skulls eh? I would *love* to have that costume piece for my DM/DA!

So, um.. any chance of a free respec? Not just any respec, I mean a total character AT switching overhaul. My first toon to 50 is lame by design, not by negligence.
Forgive me; I'm simply fuming over the FF section particulary. My dark defender may not be what she used to be, and that I can tolerate. But really.. why anyone in their right mind would roll a bubble defender now is beyond me.
