I agree with most of your points, but aid self isn't useless for resistance sets. Slotted up with int reductions, it's possible to get it off in the middle of DoTs.

i agree with both posts, but don't you think if regen was added to the set it would be a little better off?

Regen would hit the sweet spot.
also i saw a post suggesting getting rid of swift and hurdle from the fistness pool-
i could not agree more, give us health at 6, stamina at 14 and at 20 it would be interesting to get some sort of healing power- maybe even a weak or moderate end and health drain

Uh, Hurdle and Swift both have tremendous use. If the dev team actually followed that boneheaded suggestion, stone tanks would be throwing bricks at the Cryptic building as they crawled sluggishly past, and all the combat jumpers would be mid-air mooning them.

yes!!!!! those are the 2 best powers in the game and one could not live w/ out them

Not the point, there's a whole lot of people who find them highly useful. You don't like them, feel free to not take them. They won't be removing them though.

I would rather they combine hurdle/swift into one power (without reducing either power), change travel power SOs to a generic "Travel Speed" SO, move stamina down to the 14 power, move health down to fill the other level 6 slot, and add in some random level 20 power (like a quickness clone for example, or a self heal, or some team aura travel speed booster toggle, or even a useless power, I don't care).

This would satisfy the people who have to have swift, satisfy the people who want stamina earlier, and pretty much everyone wins... except the devs won't ever do this. I've seen this suggested at least once, probably more than that, without so much as a red name response, so it's safe to say that stamina is working as intended.

There are a lot of players who for role-playing, concept or just for the heck of it may not take a pure travel power and instead take swift and hurdle. I have two natural characters I play around with that I have done this with. Because of concept I am not looking to add either health or stamina to the mix. I just wanted an alternative to the big four. As has been said before, this getting rid of the health pool and making it as part as a leveling reward has been suggested since I3. If it has not happened by now I'm pretty sure it's not going to.

I didn't suggest that, and no one else here suggested that, that I know of. I'm actually against that idea myself. I think having stamina as a selectable power is a good idea, I just think 2 prereqs is a bit much.

I never said that anyone here suggested that the fitness pool be taken away and be automatically rewarded at levels. I was alluding to post in the past.....Sheesh.

You know, the fact that I tried keeping fury up using only brawl and fighting, 2 cheapest costing powers in the game. I did not have any shields on and yet still ended up running out. It makes me think that the endurance cut they did just wasn't enough.

I have just sold myself on Dark Melee/Electric Armor and stamina be damed (although I'll likely still take Hurdle for mobility).

Brawl isn't that cheap, if you have an end reduc in your primary minor attack it's probably lower. I have had the same experience (running out of endo using Brawl) on every Brute primary/secondary combo.

You'll still be hurting on endurance until 28, and even then, probably still until 35.

One consume isn't really enough. I have a dark scrapper that tried to make a no stamina build and rely on consume.... I can function on teams, but I run out of end pretty easily. It does make things interesting tho. I pay lots of attention to that dc recharge .

Unbiased finding: I haven't read any posts so I know this has probably already been mentioned.

I say drop conserve power since we already have power sink, and add an HP booster or Heal. Let's just call it "defibrilator" for now.

i've got a dark/nrg brute doing this. it's rough. i've got 1 end rdx in my attacks, one in my toggles and DC slotted 1acc/3rchrg and I still can't wait till i hit 28. but once i do (5 more bars), it's gonna be sweet.

Brawl and Boing are the 2 cheapest melee powers on endurance cost available to every brute. Some sets first attack is less then both but talking speed of the attacks and trying to simple keep Fury up without any shields active.

I have tried to keep up with all of the on-going comments since this hit test and dont think I have seen anyone comment on this.

Does Electric Armor have any Toxic resists????

I don't see it listed anywhere in the power set descriptions. Throw this in with no heal and this could be problematic at the higher levels (or god forbid if you have to deal with Vahz).

So far, elec resists seem to be ok, aside from no heal - I am getting this at 26 - ouch.

Having a hole - I am not sure I am enthusiastic about having no resists to toxic given that I can't boost my hp in any way and I "have to" pool out for a heal.

I am just posting this up to see if anyone else noticed this.

Team with a sonic corruptor. or better yet team with a /sonic corruptor and a /ff mastermind. that way you get hit less, take less damage with each hit, and both have fairly good tox buffs in the sets. I find the /sonics fairly common on freedom and champ.
