  1. i am just wondering about chain induction- have they fixed it? are they coming up w/ a new power?
  2. eletric melee does not underperform
    u can set diff to highest and get right of 3 reds quite fast w/ build up L.Rod and Thunder strick
    i hop ethey keep L.Rod at 60 secs that way i can have 2 acc, 2 dmg, one recharge and 1 end rdx that way it comes up at the same time as build up w/ 3 recharge

    i think they should take their failed atempt at Chain Induction and make a heavy (single target) hitter or a ranged like the ones in stone or SS. maybe a healing aoe ( that might be too much) or a single enemy health drain ( siphon life)
    sucks that because of this i7 will be pushed back- but then again rather have it working well than a bugged set

    point is we still need to get an extra power for KB and Im. the diference is we can choose a different travel power. what sucks for me is that i actually like SJ and probably will take it anyways. but others are happy so i wont complaint
    but for those asking for a nerf. gimme a break- this powerset is similar to energy aura just w/ resist instead of def. they too get power sink and drain, they too have kb and imm. built in. if u think lack of heal wont have an effect on the set u are out of ur mind. dark armor goes from 1 hp to whatever ur max is in a sec, stone has 2 heals, fire has heal and end drain, and we dont even have toxic resist. so quit ur whining. all the Devs did was add a minor detail to the set that simply allows ppl to pick a different travel power- while nothing that an extra power from SJ would grant us but it appeases the masses ( again i think is a good thing that others can choose a travel power they like)
    if u think this overpowers the set, i dont want to imagine how much whining we would hear if they actually added a regen tick ( which is way more useful than KB and imm. protection)

  7. we have been giving our opinions and takes on this power set, i was wondering if we could get a "red" answer.
    Is the set being changed at all or will it remain as it is?
    that is something the community has been wondering for quite a while and would like to know ( for piece of mind)
  8. you guys got a little sidetracked- this is a melee set, an offensive powerset.
    status protection of ur armors has nothing to do w/ this.
  9. KB and imm. are not a bid deal - i used to think that toxic wasnt either, but after fighting hellions i went to fight the vahzilok and got my [censored] handed to me, i was popping greens like there was no tomorrow

    Yup. I have a heck of a time getting it to do it, however. If I position an enemy between me and my target when I fire off Jacob's Ladder, it's very rare that it hits OR misses the guy between us. The cone needs to be more forgiving.

    When I first heard of Jacob's ladder ( and saw a cool video of what it looked like IRL) I had pictured it to have a cone range much like Combustion rather than Shadow Maul. As it is now, it is a chore to line it up correctly to hit more than one mob. Does Increase range help at all?

    nope- they changed melee in a way that it is neither affected by range buff or debuff

    i agree w/ the issue of JL since u got to somehow aline the enemies to hit more then one at a time, it ake the fighting choppy, not as fluent as.. lets say SS
    3 min recharge for LR- rediculous
    And the chain power- i understand teh chaing is not supposed to do as much dmg as the initial strick, but it should be affected by fury- just like TS deals eletric dmg to those around but not smash- which is dealt to the main target
  11. i was talking to my fellow eletric/eletric today and what i got from them is the same thing i been thinking
    they dont mind or notice the lack of toxic res
    they can deal w/ lack of imm. and kb
    but they think- like me- that they should add regen (while making it a toggle) to grounded or lighting reflex
    that way they dont take any powers from this set that makes it "unique"
  12. 45 is still too long- 30 is more like it.
    the devs are really making these eletric set flawed.
    but they are both on the verge of greatness
    im not gonna get into eletric shields- doesnt belong here
    but this set is missing a "brute" power, LR even though nbot being extreme made up for that fact as a aoe, i like Havoc, JL is ok, it is a little trick to get more than one mob in the cone but one can do it, TS is great, i love it. CI should have the chain dmg like TS where others get the eletrci dmg not smash ( just moderate instead of high) LR was supposed to take the set to another lvl to another but 3 min recharge is a joke, even 45 is a joke. devs are making it really hard to like these eletric sets, and when/ if it hits live, the complaints will pour in.

    i wonder , and im probably being naive, if we could get feedback from the devs- "we are not changing the set" or "we are considering such and such ideas"
    that way i can stop daydreaming of eletric shields changing into a great set insdead of a decent one
    i may be wrong but if the eletric sets hit live as is there will be massive "[censored]"
  14. I dont really mind the lack of KB or Imm. u need to get a travels power anyways, this only means u get one more power
    but i really hope grounded becomes a toggle like rooted, w/ less regen to compensate for not having a slow effect ( being slowed would go against the set)

    also i saw a post suggesting getting rid of swift and hurdle from the fistness pool-
    i could not agree more, give us health at 6, stamina at 14 and at 20 it would be interesting to get some sort of healing power- maybe even a weak or moderate end and health drain

    i belive lighting reflexes should have Immobilize protection- makes sense if u can resist slow and run faster
    even if they dont all u got to do (since u will need the leaping pool for KB) is toggle combat jumping for a fof a few secs and you are fine
    when it comes to KB( as i said before) we can just take the jump pool and be done w/ it.
    self-heal is the only thing that bugs me- how one would approach the issue i do not know, there are too many options.
    Take out power sink or conserve power and place a self heal ( something like healing flames) since this build feels like a mix of fire and energy.
    Make lighting reflex a toogle and add regen and immobilize to it- moving fast, faster recharge, faster recovery, res(immobilize)- makes sense to me
    I seen some post suggesting grounded as a toggle, givin protection to KB ( makes sense), immobilize ( dont know about that, i mean u may be immoble but u r still on the ground) and regen (i see how it my play off- you are grounded therefor u can capture energy, in this case health, from the ground itself)

    some may disagree- say that it would be too powerful powerset.
    i belive we should to achive is an enjoyable set.
    and as it is lack of self heal can get in the way of that.
    be it as it may people wont flock to ES just bc it is a strong set. i myself love /fire and /inv and have a couple of tank/brutes the same way other love /Dark,/stone, /energy - and i hate those three. its personal taste that will lead one to pick a powerset , although there are always those who just care about raw power, but then again /inv has better smash/ lethal resist and ES has no def power- look at /inv's invincibility +def and tohit for every enemy around up to 14, then u get tough hide- dont forget that now def has been improved.

    any thoughts?
