Absolutely and categorically untrue. I've opened over 2100 by now, there is ONE badge for opening presents - Toy Collector.

From experience, after farming present spawn points, it just seems like it was 500.
I got my toy collector badge today.

500? That would be ridiculous. Getting those 200 was like a running a tf, on invincible, with 8-man spawns, by yourself, with the Vahz wasting disease and the Verizon guy following you around saying "Can you hear me now?", and there was a screaming kid behind you on the tram, and you forgot your keys when you left to fight crime, your kid 'borrowed' the cash from your wallet, and McDonalds won't let you fly through the drive through.
Ok, slight exaggeration, but that was one heck of a pain in the rear. So, uh, when's the next badge coming?

I got the Toy Collector badge on my most serious badge-hound toon but didn't even consider picking it up for anyone else. Next year, maybe cut the number down to 100 or 150? Or maybe add a bar so we can see how close we are to getting the badge? it was definitely no fun going for this badge.

Wow, that sounds like my experience during "Last Minute Christmas Gift Buying At The Mall" on Christmas Eve...
The mall eventually reached it's capacity, exceeded it's capacity, reached critical mass, then imploded... I think a tickle-me elmo doll was all that remained, but it was eventually taken out by the cops... one picked it up, pressed it's tummy, it began arguing and resisting arrest, so they tased it, it began shaking more, so they had to shoot it... must have been on PCP... those dirty Elmo dolls! Someone should call the ACLU! That's abuse of Muppet!

Fastest time I got 'Toy Collector' on an Alt was 72 minutes. And that was delayed only because some others showed up during the run. 200 is nothing, gang. Yes, repetitious but stay focused on the goal.
