it's not Threadromancy if you pick a thread that a red name said wouldn't get the axe... (I'm pretty sure someone PMed cuppa about it) that's like Threadromancy in the Player Guides section...

he was convinced my name was denver it came up at atleast one other point in time
also this conversation (from memory so bear with me here)
"What's Slovak?"
"It's a language"
"I don't know any of those"
"what do you mean you're speaking english?"
"That's not what I mean"
"What do you mean?"
"Nope"
"That doesn't make sense?"
"It COULD mean something"
"It COULD mean nothing"
"Yeah that's what I meant"
heh I thought it was pretty funny -
me: something something do you know my name? (I forgot exactly)
botty mcbot bot: I know a few
me: I only have one name
C:Are you sure your name isn't denver?
Me: definetely, my name is spitfire
C: I thought your name was Denver
me: what made you think that?
c: Cows
me:Cows control your mind?
c: mooooooo!
me: I guess that's a yes
c: good!
me: you could say that
c: I don't think stealing is legal -
So I decided to role play as my character "I am a contact" just to see what would happen... I think there's something wrong with him... not so much in the intelligence aspect... but... well see?
Want an inspiration?
First, you need to send me one hundred billion dollars.
Why?
I don't like those words!
What's wrong with teh word 'why?'
I like pie!
What does that have to do with anything?
It's how to count! -
yeah it takes longer than it really should... but I think the thing is that it said "unnamed" prisoners and we had 3 people attacking lieuts and bosses also (which take longer) so that might have made it take a little longer...
-
or it is about a serial killer because
Lord Recluse = Recluse Spider = Serial Killer (Lord Recluse not the spider) -
"Fortune Teller found missing this morning"
-
I caught that too but decided not to be a [censored] about it
-
really?
that's a pretty good origin if you ask me -
Family guy, the episode where chris gets a job at the driving range

sorry... was thinking cuppajo... cuppakitten... I didn't actually know either way... now that I DO I won't make that mistake again... (atleast it wasn't the other way around and I called you a dude... I've been hit in the face for that)
-
heh heh *giggles* dude there is a reason "CuppaKitten" used "revive" on this thread... check the response before hers
funny though... how it's still an issue >.< -
actually I really just wanted to make an "excorcist" reference...
-
*gets out the bible and begins chanting to keep the thread at bay*
The power of Mods compells you the Power of Mods compells you!!! -
these kids posted almost 20 pages in a day saying good bye to the last guy... might be hard to win them over
but if you do... you won't find a better place to go in and replace someone people like -
bleh...
that's no good...
what with the leaving and all...
I never read much of your articles... (not because of quality, more of a not enough time kinda thing... the ones I read were good though) but you definetly made yourself known around here... and it is comforting when the red names are so friendly and interactive with the community...
Thanks for all your work...
Good Luck in the future...
Are we gonna throw a going away party?
I'll bring the oreos and the cups! -
This is what I heard on the comic forums thread about roughly the same topic, the surviving 8 are the 8 who survived the ritki war, Woodsman was killed just about right after the ritki war by Deverouing Earth Creatures... (so I think he missed the list because it was too soon afterwards)

I agree that this set doesn't need a heal...
Atleast at lower levels this seems very controllery (more so than it is defenderry)
that Net Arrow... a single target imob is not exactly a helpful move for anyone ESPECIALLY when it's out of their main powerset (blasters can use it, but I use it when blasting to run away...)
Glue Arrow seems pretty good, kinda controllerry but you can just say you're "just REALLY debuffing their speed :P" (It's been reported that if Ice Arrow is used to hold an enemy first that this will TURN OFF the hold, not sure if that is a bug or not... but seems unnecessary)
I was trying to test 4 characters AND play my main on live so I only tested those powers... will comment on the description...
Defenders are buff/debuff main really, and blasting secondary... this felt like up through the first 5 up to maybe 10 levels I was playing a controller with blast secondary...
give some debuffs earlier on, or (somehow?) work in a buff... somewhere in exchange for controlling powers, if I want a controller I'll roll a controller... a shuffle is all it might need (of the power order)
I would REALLY like to see this as a blaster secondary... modified of course...
1. Entangling Arrow (because all blaster secondaries start with this...
2. maybe a weakened form of glue arrow
3. Boxing glove Arrow
(because of the head of this arrow it doesn't fly very far, but what it hits it is likely to disorient) Single Target close range disorient move with Disorient percentage between Total Focus and Bone Smasher Moderate Damage
4. Ice Arrow
5. Poison Gas Arrow
6. Build Up
7. Disruption Arrow
8. Emp Arrow
9. Oil Slick Arrow
That would make an awesome sauce blaster secondary I think... maybe that's just me -
So ignore my last post... things have changed since that was made
We are now 2! supergroups... *gasp*?
SG Name: Fist of Justice, Fist of Justice Reserves
SG Leaders: Dr. Spitfire, Lady.Pendragon, Centuriann (for the reserves)
SG Website: still got us that unused message board :P fist.h4x.us
SG peak hours: We got enough people now that there are almost always like 4-5 people on atleast not sure about the peak hours though...
Other Info:
Between the 2 groups we have about 90 players the reserves houses all heroes 1-25, the fist is everyone above that. the reserves have filled up pretty well, so limited space is available... they have 60+ members so we're looking at like 10 more people, n00blets from all walk of life are accepted and encouraged for that group, infact for the last few days I don't think I've run a mission with my main, between answering questions about the game and recruiting I've just had no time...
In the Fist however we have a lot of room, we're always on coalition chat so there are people to talk too, but we are greatly looking to increase the number of players we have in the upper division so that we have more people to team with. Anyone who is level 26 or above will be accepted at this point in time but inactive players will the get removed.
a real website is coming soon. *gasp* -

great post overall, however there is just one thing that needs to be said. All over the boards there seems to be a misconception of melee powers. I'll make this short. You do NOT need melee powers when baddies are in melee range. That's like saying I have to put my pistol down when the person I want to shot is close enough to kick me. It's called point blank range people, and I think we should get an acc and dmg bonus for using ranged powers close up. Well that's my rant for the day.

I don't think that is the misconception...
You are right... shooting someone at no range is something you can still shoot them...
But someone might want to be able to pistol whip the dude too... Pistol Whipping is funor pistol whip them and then shoot them

Know when you have to run, and when you have actually taken control of a situation, A good blaster should impress people both with his/her ability to lose life incredibly fast, and his/her ability to come out alive when they've been running around with critical life.
Know when it's too late to run, if you've commited too much of your life, too many inspirations, drawn too much aggro, running will only get you shot in the back... know when you've crossed the point of no return... blasters die... if you know you can't escape it, go out with a bang... you can usually get off 2-3 powerful attacks in the time it takes you to get shot in the back. many defenders... don't want to run away from the battle either to rez you... If your enemies have defeated you... atleast you can make the hurt for it.
If you have not passed the point of no return though... know how to escape...
Interesting situational strategy, feeds off my "know how in control of a situation you are thoughts" as well as the

if you aer down to one or 2 enemies, but almost no health... approach fast and hit hard... and by approach I mean APPROACH... if you get right in their face most enemies will pull out their melee weapon, then draw back and circle them, they will keep their melee weapon out as though it'll be some use... run in circles and ride fire blast, or your equivalent of a good range good attack speed good dmg is not a requirement... as long as your opponent is treating you as a melee character and you are on the move like that... they cannot hit you... sprint or swift is strongly recommended so that even with the rooting effects of powers minions won't catch up to you...
adapt as needed
actually impressing people with your ability to lose life isn't something to aim for but it'll happen frequently... don't let this be your weakness though...
