It's not number of deaths, it's debt-repayment, and since you don't earn any debt from PVP kills, no repayment, hence no badge.

No there's one for Debt Repayment, Number of Deaths, and Damage Taken. All of them being sperate badges. Check Vidiotmaps.
Badge descriptions on the 'die' badges are incorrect. Those are the new debt-repayment badges introduced in I6 (if I remember correctly), same as the further mentoring and inf badges. As far as I know, there are no badges for # of deaths (otherwise I'd have at least 1 of them).
Could have even higher requirements than listed on teh website. I've talked to several people who have siad that they have one. Of course they could always be confusing the debt repayment badges.

In regards to the timed badges in the PvP zones... this was posted by Lord Recluse.... Clicky
As far as the "death badges" they are for debt repayment, they were added in Issue 5. The text on them is misleading as it says something about dying so many times, but they are for repaying your debt.
An added note for Badge hunters, Operative Rutger in Nerva offers a mission to steal some jammers from Crey, on a 3 person team set to Ruthless (equivalent to Unyeilding) we saw Paragon Protectors in most of the mobs, I am sure that an 8 man team on Relentless could farm it for their Infiltrator Badge if they were so inclined.

100 Winterlord guys. (From Naughty presents) Gave me Cold Warrior badge.
Someone mentioned they saw someone with a snowman pet, but I have yet to see or hear anything else about it, so think it may have been a joke.

not a joke, my level 40 just got it as a temp power summons a huge winter person (you know what i mean) and stays with you for 5 minutes.
Yep, last night I finally logged out after getting both the snowbeast temp and the snowballs.
Also to add to this which have other posts throughout but to bring in to this post is the 200 presents for toymaker.
Badge is Toy Collector, not Toymaker

Is the Toy Collector badge for getting the presents inside the mission from those Longbow/Arachnos contacts, or is it for Gamester's stuff?
Jet Setter/Longbow Reservist are from the jetpack login gift.
Scrooge/Holiday Spirit are from the contact mission.
Toy Collector is from opening the Gamester boxes.
Cold Warrior is from killing Winter Horde (naughty boxes).

Anyone know if there are any problems/bugs with the Toy Collector badge?
I got it fine yesterday afternoon on my main (about an hour in Founder's Falls), but last night, when I was helping a friend out (she was having trouble with the level range of the spawns, so I Sidekicked her with my L33 Illusion/Stormie and we chose an efficient 6 present route in Talos to work on), she opened somewhere in the region of 300 or more presents while teamed with me (I was the hired muscle, didn't touch any presents), but absolutely no joy - and she'd opened plenty the night before and before I offered to help, debt notwithstanding.
So what's the deal? Was it not working because of the sidekicking? Was it because she was flying while opening the boxes? We spent 3 hours present hunting last night, and no result. That's pretty terrible.
I spent an hour and a half last night on a 14 present route in Sharkhead Isle, and barring others sometimes clicking gifts on the route I must have clicked well over 200 and still no badge. I did have a ton of Presents though, and everytime I got 10 gifts I would run around and hand out 5 or 6 to anyone I found that had room in their tray.
Yeah, I'm a Re-Gifter.

Its either 100 or 200 "nice" presents the "naughty" ones do not count towards the badge. I had opened a good 400-500 before I got the badge, if not even more than that.
400 to 500? Where are you that you find these abundance of gifts?! I have flown for over 40 minutes and I'm lucky to find 10! More lucky if someone doesn't mooch off my find.

Sharhead and Sirens Call are the best places. I had a whole route at Sharkheads that I woudl fly where I would get 10-15 present every 5 minutes.
I've had good luck in Port Oakes and Bloody Bay. Really it's a question of time of day and number of other Present Seekers in the zone. I would recommend trying the following:
Broadcast asking for a shout out if you're hunting prezzies. If there are more than 1-2 others, find another zone.
Search for and memorize as much as you can for the entire zone, most hunters only work a segment of the zone, so if you run into a poacher, it becomes easier to modify your route to avoid that area until they get bored (most people move on after 10-15minutes).
Think out side the (gift-wrapped) box. Often there are sections of the zone that few people visit, yet contain several gifts close to each other. Fort Hades in Port oakes is a good example. I often had it to myself and that meant 4-6 presents per trip.
Just like clickies in missions, presents go womm womm. In city areas with many buildings, use your ears as well as your eyes, its often quicker to travel low and listen at first, instead of flying high and looking.
For dedicated badge hunters, doing your present hop in the PvP zones is worth it, even if you don't like PvP. It is something to occupy you for a large chunk toward the 5hr time badge. My hero got Gift Collector, Man in Black, Irradiated, Shivan Gladiator. If I had needed Tank Buster or the CoT mage badge, I could have spent time working on them as well (I didn't get Cold Warrior there because I didnt have access to my AE strike, I simply went into skyway afterwards and spent maybe 10minutes to get my snow men). It's pretty easy to avoid PvP, unless you get some real tool who persists in messing you up, but even then, just let the player take you out and get his jollies. No debt from that death, whereas if you run and get taken by a turret or NPC, thats a PvE death.
ETA- gotten the badge on 3 toons so far, and my eyes havent bled out yet, but I have gotten pretty efficient

This is not true.
I've gotten it twice, and each time, it came directly on the 200th glowie gift I clicked on, regardless how many nice or naughty presents the gifts resulted in.
Ironically, each time, it did come on a "naughty" gift.
I've already forgotten about most of you
Finally got my Toy Collector last night after touching about 10-15 more gifts, and it was on a Naughty one, so any gift must work towards it.

Been grinding out the Toy Collector a little too long I guess. After clicking, clicking, clicking - the night before last, lunch time, and after work - I thought jeeze this is taking way too long on this toon...
Double checked, already had the badge - DOOH!!
Went ahead and knocked out a few more on him after that and Ta-Da! Trailblazer on another one! BurningJustice FTW!
