  1. I was just on for a minute, but the patch today looks like it may have fixed my problem...

    Think they will give me credit on my accounts for the time from i17 dropping and now LOL - NOT!

    Checked the patch notes, nothing that sounds like it should have made any difference. Maybe it working was just a glitch... Have to wait and see.

  2. Same problem here, AMD 3800+ Geforce 9500GT WinXP - worked fine before patch. 100% processor ever since.

    Can't even talk on vent with the game running.

    Someone help us!

    Old sig, first post in (years maybe).

    Game unplayable, even in safe mode.
    Newest drivers loaded tonight just to be sure.

    Yes it stacks, we ran a MM team with like 4-5 Vengances among us in WB a while back and drove people crazy. A stalker died and we just let him stay dead for the Vengance lol.

    New to Victory on Feb 1 (I think)

    Just put in the first Teleporter this weekend so moving along nicely.

    Full base with Super Computer/Turbine on Pinnacle, now spreading out to take over the rest of the world...

    We run Ventrilo, not required - but you will find it pretty quiet if you aren't on - we are too lazy to type much when we can just talk.

    If you are active and interested in a Multi-Server VG, look me up at @mellowchick so we can team and get to know you a little. No firm requirements for membership.

    Night Widows are probably my favorite creations, with the possible exception of Jack in Irons. geko designed them, and I built their powers. (Jack was a big team effort, I just love the way he looks.)

    The majority of their defense come from their Precognitive abilities. The Stealth doesn't add anymore than three slotted Stealth would for a player. The Smoke Grenade, on the other hand, is brutal if you are lower level than they are.

  8. I am curious, I have the same problem with being unable to hit Night Widows - this is with Two SOs of acc in a single target hold, I simply can NOT seem to hit them with any of my "attacks" that have just one SO of acc in them.

    I know the "mobs" don't play fair, but if my Smoke has a crappy amount of acc debuff in it, they shouldn't get elude lvl defense out of theirs.

    it was like 75% chance to hit and i dont think you could enhance the acc on it.

    Smoke from the Fire Control set acted differently.

    It was autohit, but couldn't stack.

    Then they changed it for PVP, making it require a tohit roll - but didn't allow you to slot acc enh.

    In its current form, it isn't autohit, but you can slot acc. Hopefully when the patch Castle mentions goes live, at least it will work in PVE again.

    Probably could get enough on test if you got people to post it in their Hami Global channels for their servers. I doubt there are enough on a given server that are active, but between all the servers...

    Did a red name say so? Did somebody actually manage a raid like this and I missed it? Or are you speculating based on some other Mob's behavior?

    We have done several raids on Pin where we didn't kill all the mitos, mainly just to speed things up. (I don't think we have since ED, but I don't know of any Hami changes).

    At one point we did a "speed raid" with a pickup group, I know they have been done faster by organized SGs - but this was an open group. We killed only the Green Mitos and enough for a Wedge to work from, the whole raid took about 30 minutes.

    Resist Debuffs are resisted by Damage Resistance.

    If your 100 damage attack hits someone with no resists, it does 100 damage.
    If that person had a 25% Resist Debuff, damage taken would be 125.

    A 100 damage attack vs someone with 50% resists would take 50 damage.
    If that person had a 25% Resist Debuff on them, damage taken would be 62.5.

    EDIT: The above assumes the Resist Debuff is resistable. Defenders debuffs are not resistable in PvP.

    So that means that damage resist resists debuffs? Is this automatic? I know there are defense debuff resisting powers, but I did not know that damage resist automatically resisted damage resist debuffs.
  16. Been grinding out the Toy Collector a little too long I guess. After clicking, clicking, clicking - the night before last, lunch time, and after work - I thought jeeze this is taking way too long on this toon...

    Double checked, already had the badge - DOOH!!

    Went ahead and knocked out a few more on him after that and Ta-Da! Trailblazer on another one! BurningJustice FTW!

    The Jingle Jet is 30 days from the time you get it, it doesn't matter if you never use it - it will still go away in 30 days!

    How hard would it be to have a /showfury command like the /showfps 1 to make a counter show up at the top of the screen for those that are interested and want to see the number. I know when I am furiously trying to build it up, I don't have time to right click the fury bar if I want to see what the actual number is.

    I do know I would do /showfury 1 all the time on my brute, I am rapidly becoming a SMASH junky. I protect my fury, not myself, not my team -- when I get caught up in it. Just a couple of mobs left, they will be fine - that dozen over there will keep my fury going... I will just go SMASH them!
  19. This has probably been said, but I haven't actually been in a bank when it was robbed - but people I know who have (and most movies) say that there are not people running around - they are just cowering on the floor hoping to not be killed.

    Why in this game are the pedestrians so fearless? (and annoying)

    We did that SF this weekend and we did all die in the last fight. Our Ninja Stalker made a good show of it using the ninja form of elude, she kept killing and killing until it dropped and so did she.

    After that, we all got back down there and handed the AV his @$$.

    Just happened to me at lunch today. In a mission with that Winding set of corridors and stairs that leads to a room at the bottom.

    Started fighting the first group. Way at the first staircase. Get them mostly down and then a Red Tank Boss shows up with a couple of friends. Didn't think anything of it at the time, but then I walk all the way around and into the "boss room" and all that is there is the hostage waiting for me to kidnap her. Must be the same bug.

    Is there any chance we can see the numbers of cancellations of people that subscribed for 3 months or more, post the ED announcement? It would also be nice to see the number of new subscriptions. I don't really think that showing a "net gain" means that ED wasn't a public relations nightmare. Most of your new subscribers came for COV and the hype surrounding it, they really don't know or care what ED is.

    I remember a study I read once that said retaining customers costs 10% of gaining new ones. I think that ED came as a suprise following all the other changes, and many of your customers felt it was a slap in the face pretty much.

    Anyway, on a personal note, I don't find ED all that bad. I miss my non S/L resists on my Inv tanks and the ability to have powers for "flavor", but if you think I should have to have tough and all my Inv powers - so be it.

    One thing to note, Travel Ends have been promised to be fixed, but I don't think they are fixed yet. (One person pointed out that the fix was promised 09-2004 also...)

    Also, Cytos are best in Inv on tanks since it uses all three.
