We believe Paragon City to be a place of corruption, so bad that the system itself is incapable of purging it. Instead it's been re-designed to just corrupt further and keep those with power, in power. The superheroes are, in a way, clueless victims, toiling on behalf of leaders who are using them to corrupt ends.
So the only solution is to take the fight to the streets, to eliminate those that hide behind desks in office buildings, and if that means crushing any heroes in our way, than so be it. They knew what they got into when they signed up for the job.
I am a dissenter, branded a traitor by the radical viewpoints that prevail in paragon city, just for speaking my mind and trying to make the city a better place. I now make siren's call my home, and I will speak not using my mind, but with my superpowers instead.
Join our struggle and I can promise you nothing but suffering. It is a suffering only the truly righteous can appreciate. In the end, we will prevail. They will call us villains, but we will make them bow before us.

A haven for those whose bodies are not wholly organic. All mechanicals, robots, and cyborgs are welcome to find a new home with those like yourselves. Commanded by the 12th King, this group operates under an unclear agenda.
(Not known to many, if any): "The goal of Global Mechanization will not be achieved by ostracizing ourselves from those organics who would be useful tools to meet our needs."
Synopsis: An RP villain group meant for characters whose bodies contain some form of technology, be it cybernetics, a fully robotic body, etc. Classic hierarchy of a cold and calculating leader (The 12th King) commanding a group of characterful villains.

The Sentinels of Tomorrow
The Sentinels of Tomorrow, led by Lord Cynosure, are a group of superhumans who believe that the politicians of this world are corrupt, and leading the world down a path of destruction. He believes that they are more concerned with money and reelection, then they are with serving the people they lead. He also believes that the people will continue to follow them blindly unless they are awoken... which can only be done by dramatic example. He seeks to bring about the next great revolution on a world wide scale, to save people from themselves and their evil governments.
Synopsis: It's like the Brotherhood of Mutants, in that Cynosure thinks he's doing the right thing. He's all in all, a good guy, who cares about the people that fight alongside him. He's honorable, and like magneto, does good as often as evil. The only thing that really seperates him from a "hero" are his extreme views.

Having carried out a strike against the Heroes of Paragon already to determine their skills and powers, Taurus, the leader of a band of villains he calls the Zodiac has gone into hiding to analyze and determine his next move. The band that he keeps on a short leash under his control, all who are named for one of the other 11 Western signs of the Zodiac, awaits his orders.
What will Taurus and the Zodiac unleash from within the Rogue Isles? The Januray Gemini Park attack was merely a test, nothing more than a data grabbing excerise, those injured were just icing on the cake.
Synopsis: A rotating group of 12-13 people (We can have 2 Geminis if need be), all named as one of the Western Zodiac signs, are lead by the Minotaur of legend, Taurus, who seems to be hell bent on world domination. Those who he commands have any type of background, skill, and abilities.

The Flying Circus has made a discovery of Secret documents in an Islington flat pretaining to the little known practice of Joke warfare used by the British against the Nazis in WWII. If humor was good enough for MI-5 it's good enough for us! This practice of Joke warfare has become disused and as of late there is no known defense against it.
The Flying Circus will be a Circus themed Super Villain Group with Pythoneque overtones.
I've made a website with a forum (did he say there's a forum?) but there's nothing there yet. Don't laugh please ... well there's a site anyway ... (groans)
I picturing a Super Group of mature (and silly) players who desire a family friendly environment (ie. no swearing please), who like to have fun, and want personify a Circus themed character, a Python themed character, or something that is at the very least funny and menacing at the same time.
Or, if you are unable to be funny well then at least be incredibly stupid, because incredibly stupid people are, well, funny. Ahem...
I am looking for good Roleplayers who can appreciate the funnier aspects of villians. But I despise RP nazis who tell everyone what to do.
Villains who take themselves toooo seriously are ... boring.

Now, posing as a hero merged with a Nictus to become a Warshade, DDS bides his time until Crimson Sparrow can get the others in this dimension from Praetorian Earth.

Following the unfortunate events of KGB Section 8, and with her own baggage with the 5th Column/Council and Sky Raiders, Hedda von Velikai founded the Sisters' International Revolutionary Empowerment Network to "agitate" for women's rights everywhere. SIREN puts on a public face as any other women's rights organization, actively seeking to help battered wives, widows, and orphans. Less publicly and more ominously, several individuals targeted by or critical of SIREN's agenda have conveniently vanished.
In truth, SIREN is pro-woman past many reasonable definitions of terrorism. Yet SIREN maintains it is working for a better world... and will use any means to achieve it.

The League of Sinister Intent is a Villian Supergroup here on Virtue server that will also form in CoV. The League is a heavy RP group that is based on the Golden Age and Silver Age villains. Our goals are to be in coalition chats with appropriate "Hero" Sg's (some are pending) and cause mayhem and interesting storylines around Paragon, as well as Arena RP settings.
This is an 'alt' SG, our mains are Golden Age type superheros, but we're doing this 3 or 4 days a week. If you have a Golden Age type villian, or an idea for one, there is still plenty of time to catch up (we're all around level 8-12ish).

Just as a heads up: The Zodiac is a well-known and oft-reincarnated Marvel group of Supervillians. Watch your back, or you'll get yourselves into trouble. It's a great concept, and rather different from the Marvel incarnations, but... better safe that deleted, no?

The Shadows
In a nutshell: Sister Rion d'Kilkinney, the now infamous Holy Inquisitor, is even now coordinating with powerful supervillains to escape en masse from the Zig. Once out they will begin their reign of terror across the Islands.
Nothing fancy, no big theme... just an SVG for role-playing, HQ-building, TFs, and PvP if we feel like it.
Although ostensibly in charge, Rion's wise enough not to waste her time corraling a gaggle of overinflated egos. Rebuilding the theocracy is hard enough! This is a loose confederation. There's no heirarchy, no boss and no kick button. Someone torques you off, put 'em on Ignore.
Core team of eight will rendesvous in Gemini on CoV's opening day, switch over and break out of the Zig together. We push it, we might make tenth by the evening. Contact "Sister Colette" or the "Neo Inquisitor" to join in, or the "Holy Inquisitor" after Hallowe'en.

About the org:
We are all adults here. Dont stop by if offended by obscene humor, bad jokes, or random acts of evil. Most of our members are from 25-35 years of age so we dont mesh well with the pre-teen set. Many of us have gamed together for 5 or so years are are happy to welcome other madmen and madwomen. We hope to provide fun for the both the RPer and Powergame but most of us are casual gamers that just enjoy the company of other like minded people. Forum usage is a must to keep up with the day to day babblings of our group.

Friends and I have been planning a sg based on the zodiac idea as well. I won't tell you our name(don't want it stolen before we get to 10, but we will be smallish (just RL friends mostly). We probably won't get in your way, probably. 
Everyone knows that I much prefer the concept SG or VG to the "extended freinds list" SG or VG. May I say that having headed Metaforces (perhaps the smallest SG in the world because you get no travel powers) and run all over every map in the name of character concept, I still won't join an SG or VG that is just an extended friends list.
A concept that I like that a friend of mine is doing is a return of the fifth column. Name withheld for secrecy. All the characters will be previous bad guys from the fifth.
My personal concept is an entirely reptilian VG, brought here by the Vipers to free them from slavery at the hands of Lord Recluse, they've ended up trying to carve a spot in this reality for themselves.
Cool backstory, god references, costume tips, and acceptable ATs withheld, as well as the name, because if I told you, I'd have to feed you to the Viper god Mu.
Incidentally, I really enjoyed reading the first few descriptions of VGs, and actually intend on looking into maybe making characters for them.

Our lord Tyrant, ruler of Praetorian Earth has decreed that the invasion of Phalaxian Earth begins NOW! As his most trusted enforcers, he has tasked us with the mission of securing a foothold there.
We have deemed the best place to be the fractured Rogue Islands. Any and all may join us in our crusdade to bring about the fall of the Phalaxian Earth's government and usher in a new era when Tyrant will rule all worlds!
((Our group is based around RPing villans from Praetorian Earth and conquered worlds (like Warrior Earth that Battle Maiden rules or Shadow Earth). As long as you pay service to Tyrant, you're welcome. While villanous versions of heroes are obviously going to be a large part of the group, at the same time you DON'T have to play the evil version of your hero. Many members are "originals" with no good version of Phalaxian Earth (at least none we know of yet....

Dark Shroud: 1st Villains '02
We have a long 5 part storyline as a backstory and will be holding forum RPs for those who wish to RP with the Supergroups of Virtue. We use the team colours gold and red but do not force costume design or colours upon anyone. The storyline summarized is that we are trying to prepare earth for the coming of the Great Eye's forces, a collection of planets and systems who've joined inside the GReat Eye, a space anomoly the size of a Galaxy which draws power from the will of those who serve it and in exchange grants them the ability to harvest it's cosmic power. Lord Morcalivan has since programmed nanite suits to Harvest the power for the host, calling them Harvesters. The suits will either grant this power to normal humans, add additional powers to already powerful being or just provide a channeling method of already existsing power the host posesses. The suits are able to take the shape and colours of other clothing and costumes, allowing for the articial intelligent suit to be worn continuously. The general goal aside from preparing the world for the Great Eye is to collect whatever ancient power and artifacts the former Servants of the Order of the Eye who once dwelt during the age of the Romans and Egyptians left behind in their ruins. To learn more from the Herald, a being forged from the Great Eye to aid them in learning how to further access the chaotic energies of space. Lord Morcalivan, torn between his own desire for power and to help such a powerful Galactic Empire. You'll of course have to read the 5 Issues on the website and upcoming RPs to get the full story as it unveils.
