You're probably right. I finally settled on an ED compliant build this morning. I was hopeful and happy. Ergo, given the balance of the universe Geko is sad and must nerf Regen until he is happy and EvilGeko is sad again.

Clearly, none of you know what the *real* nerfs will be.
All of the I6 nerfs:
FH: 800% regen
Recon: 300% heal, short recharge
QR: 1200% recovery
DP: 200% max Hp boost/heal
Integration: mag 36 status protection(to all,) 3000% regen, auto power
Resilience: 75% resistance to all, mag 45 status protection(to all)
IH: click(120 second recharge and duration) 10,000% regen(Team PBAoE)
Revive: PBAoE knockback/disorient, self full heal/recovery, self +max hp, self debt protection
MoG: 75% defence and resistance to all, 7,500% boost to regen and recovery, 90% cut to recharge time
It's all true. states told me!

well, looks like the Issue 6 Regen nerf has been confirmed AND in true dev fashion, the nerf was completely unguessed.
* Changed Long and Short Help of Moment of Glory to clarify which Defenses it offers.
So they took the Psy def out of MoG, told us it was never there in the first place and then changed the description so that no one else gets the idea that MoG can defend versus Psy.
Grats devs, truly an inspired and underhanded move.
Level 50 is a journey, not a destination.

At least they nerfed a power that no one really cared about... even though they gave me a flashback from the first Integration nerf.
Currently roleplaying, badgehunting, and laughing at the PvPers of CoX. lol, PvP.

It's actions like this that make me wonder about the ethics of some of the people on the CoH Dev team.
Virtue: multiple characters.
CoH/V: Woot! Maybe Fun is to be had once again.

If it reduces you, it's a nerf.
If it buffs the mobs, it's challenge.
They are not the same.
I think we should all have our builds 'funchecked' by Statesman, the man with 'the Vision'. At least that way, we'll be having 'fun' according to 'the Vision'.
I really have no clue what to do with my Scrappers anymore -- my last Regen build is barely a month old, and I didn't even get around to respeccing all my other Scrappers. Seems like I might as well not respec them at all, cause at this rate, it's failry certain that another change will come in another month from now.
The changes in themselves I can survive, just not the constant change of my toons that have been around for so long.

Nerf it out of existence like with Stalkers. No reason to believe that they won't do it eventually. For 4 out of 6 issues Regen has seen a major reduction of power. No reason to believe they are going to stop.

Plus at least once in between issues, when Int got stealth ner... bug fixed.
Or when a version of IH was pushed live that was never on test. By the time this happened, everyone was used stealth changes though.

if they would have made a big announcement about upping the duration of IH, they would have won some points back. But since people respecced it out with the 60s in mind, the change still ends up being annoying.

Why can't you see it? Seriously. I will admit that I underestimated the devs' capacity for nerfs. I always Expect More Nerfs ((c) EvilGeko 2005), but I really didn't see ED coming. I really didn't think they could surprise me after I5, I was wrong.

Note the bold red part. That part's still true. Over the course of 2005, the devs have systematically nerfed Regen over and over. Yet, still people complain it's overpowered. Why? No downtime. Even if a Regen just barely survives the fight, within seconds of the fight ending they will be at full health and endurance.
That's the rational reason they might do it.
But they other reason is that they might figure that Regens just don't need it. That's why they took it from Stalkers. Their stated reason was that Stalkers had less toggles than before AND ED although it wasn't mentioned at the time. They might just get up one day and think it's unfair for Regens to have an endurance recovery buff at level 4.

From my brief testing last night, I suspect that /regen will be horrid on an 8 man team without a consistant baby sitter.
QR is one of the last few great perks of /regen. Yeah I have a feeling there will be nerf again for /regen in the future. I mean, its only been nerfed, what, every issue to date?
It has become a matter of fact for me that when an issue is due, /regen is getting a nerf.
