Well, yet again I am let down. Part of the order has arrived, a whole lot of use that is! It will be next Tuesday at the earliest before we can get it back up now.
This is getting as bad as the wait for Issue 7. I think it'll be 3 weeks to the day since the site went down next Tuesday. Here's hoping for a NoFuture and Issue 7 double whammy on the 25th.

All the parts have been delivered (I would like to point out to you all that 33 != 38, just incase you are as confused as our suppliers over the difference between these numbers, particularly when forming part of a customer's delivery address).
Everything has been tested and works like a charm, baring car failure tomorrow evening NoFuture will be hooked back up to the rest of the world!

Having acquired about $900 worth of new equipment I will be mighty pissed if the site goes down again anytime in the near future so i wouldn't worry about it.
We've gone from a home-made, DIY server to an IBM xSeries with dual processors and lot of nice "stuff", the long delay was mostly due to the decision to upgrade hardware at this opportunity rather than replace like-for-like (also the fact that some parts were delivered to the wrong address didn't help much)

There's a problem Red.. The CoH part is just about perfect and the CoV was just fine prior to you unfortunate crash thing.. But now I have reached the mature level of 34 in CoV and I need you to promptly update the CoV content to cover the 30-40 level range.. Even the 40-50 content would be sweet!
(If you don't get it this is an attempt to be funny)
But since asking when I7 comes live is a crime on this forum (if it isn't it should be) can I ask if you are close to update the CoV part?

I've completed 90% of the content up to 40 now. It's just a matter of going through 1000 odd screenshots to get them on the website now it's back up. Expect more high level content to start showing up on the site over the coming few weeks.

Just so you have an idea how much faster it is ...
Each processor in the new box is 50% faster than the old processor, there's two of them and each have 512KB of cache rather than 64KB
For anyone that missed the window to see the numbers in the player awards polls -- My site recieved 22% of the vote compared to Vidiot maps' 70%!
I am assured that delivery will be made tomorrow (it was due today) on the parts we need. If the courier service stand up to their end of the bargain then the site should be up in about 20 hours from now, give or take a few
