I checked some of the examples given in the guide, and none of them seemed to offer much in the way of profit opportunity

I would generally assume that anything that is listed in a public forum such as this as a great way to make inf, will quickly become a mediocre/poor way to make inf, simply because so many people will jump on the opportunity.

The vast majority of the crafted IOs only really have room for one or two toons to craft and sell. Any more and your turnover suffers and prices fall as people hustle to be at the 'front' of the queue for new customers.

You need to take the time to sit and have a look at the recipies and crafted IO prices, taking in to account a few factors:

-What salvage is required to complete the recipe?
-How much does the recipe cost to craft?
-Is this an IO that lots of people will want, giving decent turnover?
-How much are people paying for the crafted IO?

Ideally, you want something that will be usable with lots of ATs and sets, not require any expensive, rare magical salvage and give you a large profit margin. I realise that this all sounds obvious.

    Hope this is useful.
  2. Looks good.

This is a big step towards Hero and Villain equality - Now Heroes can participate in a Taskforce and feel the power of rejecting stalkers!

Please note, the above is a joke and in no way reflects my views on equality, Heroes, Villains, Taskforces or Stalkers.
  3. Voted as the majority, four stars for I9 due to stability issues that have since arisen.
  4. Great stuff, it's really useful to have IO builds broken down in this way, keep up the good work!
  5. Awesome, glad to see your quality site is back up and running.

Great work with all the story arcs, i've been doing the 40-45 ones BLIND these last weeks! ::shiver::
