CoH comic storyarcs you want to see

So, as recent posts seem to indicate, it appears the new CoH comic is going to be more episodic based. (Such as a Backstreet Brawler solo story). So, I got to thinking (Yes, yes, I know. Me and thinking usually leads to trouble)... What kind of story's would you guys like to see appear at some point in the comic?

For me...

A Mynx solo story.

A story that takes place in the "golden age", that DOESEN'T involve time travel.

An arc set during WW2, focused on either the First Hero Brigade, Sand Kings, or the Dawn Patrol.

A story focused on the heroes during their down time and how they relax. (Like how the Tick and some of the other heroes of The City hung out in the Cafe).

A story told from the Citizens perspective of a "Normal" day in Paragon City, showing what its like to live in a city filled with Heroes and Villians.

Any backstory for any hero. I wanna' know just how Keyes became Positron, I wanna' see what Cole was like before he became Statesman. I wanna' see Atlas' last stand against the 5th Column in the Forties. I want a nice, little story about Miss Liberty and her lineage. I wouldn't mind seeing the Backalley Brawler getting some spotlight with, maybe with an explanation about his Regulators.

And I'd love to see a story recounting how the Dream Doctor all-but shut down the Circle of Thorns. In fact, I wouldn't mind a whole story arc about the Midnight Squad, because I love magic themed heroes.

Yes, some history arcs would be nice. Atlas is the 1st to come to mind.

Well, no comics for me, so what they put in them is of little concern to me. (Not whining, I knew this when I signed up).

As for the "day in the life of a citizen", it's being done in spectacularly funny fashion here at City of Zeroes

How about a story on Blue Steel. You know, the guy in Kings Row? That really cool looking guy? You dont know? Oh, ok. Im not sure the devs do either.

I second the notion about a story centered on Blue Steel.

Hero's I'd Love To See Stories Made For:

Blue Steel
Atlas
Talos
Ms. Liberty
Mynx
Heck, any of the NPC Hero Trainers.

Locations I'd Love To See A Story About:

DARK ASTORIA!! (Details details details details!!)
Talos Island (how it came to be like that)
Faultline (yeah it'd be cool to see those events)
Rikti Crash Site (love to see how that happened)
Eden (come on... who isnt curious how it all came to be?)

Just my two influence.

Moncton - 50 PB
Borealys II - 50 Storm/Rad Def.
Capt. United - 47 MA/SR Scr.
Storm Pegasus - 33 Storm/Elec Def.
Diamond Nights - 13 DB/SR Scr.

Along with Atlas fighting off an entire invasion alone in Independence Port, I'd like to see something about Hero1 and the team he took through the portal.

As much as I still expect to see something develop in the future of the game around that, a comic set during those fateful moments during the Rikti war when the heroes decided which team they would be on and then the actual battle in the portal room would be spectacular.

Official Bureaucrat of Freedom
Ignis-Daemon-Lvl50 Fire/Rad
Red Singularity-Lvl50 Inv/EM
Lady of Ice-Lvl50 Ice/Ice
Mihoshi Sato-Lvl50 Katana/SR
Cyborg Warrior-Level 40 Robots/Poison
X Syndicate Officer

I personally really want to see the Kheldians in action, Moonfire, Sunstorm, and Shadowstar.

Blue Steel

That would be inertesting.

Ms. Liberty

Add in the Freedom Corps with her eh?

Mynx

Heck with all the cat girls in Paragon, they might as well do an all Cat Girl issue

Heck, any of the NPC Hero Trainers.

Old Malaise would be a good one.
What about the Woodsman, or the Spirit there of.

How about some of the SO NPCs, like Agent Six, Mark IV, or SeraFina.

I know some of these are told in game but I'd like to see these stories/characters in comic form:

Atlas
Blue Steel
The Dark Astoria story
The Peeble family
and the Woodsman

At one of the bridges in Independence Port there is a statue of a woman dominating the landscape. Somewhere I read that she was a speedster who saved IP during one of the disasters. I remember the story, but can't tell you the badge, history plaque or heck, it may have been in the back story of one of the comic books. Regardless, I'd like to see her story laid out.

Also, how about Galaxy Girl? Other than a plaque, she has no other mention in the game.

No idea if it's considered in the continuity or not, but I assume that's the same speedster Wavelength who shows up in Flashfire's bio in the Blaster walkthrough?

I was wanting to see Sister Psyche and Ghost Widow wrestle in mud. The entire perma phase shift thing with Ghost Widow may mean it has to be a dream sequence only. The pics from the CoV website (those two exchanging psychic blasts) reminded me of a certain commercial from last year.

And the last line could be from the PG-13 Bud Light commercial ("Let's make out").

That's my vote.

Some arcs that give us more backstory for the world would be great. That way the comic would serve an additional purpose, providing us more in-depth background material.

My memory's not as sharp as it used to be.

Come on devs, art guys, where is my Maid costume for my characters! 5 years now, its a simple request.

You know, I'd just like to get a feel of all the cities heros, past and present. Any hero who has a statue out should probably get an issue, who has a part of the city named after them, who trains, or gives out task forces. For a hero that has died, I'd like to see how they died.

I think it would also be interesting to see the final moments of hero 1 and the rest of the crew.

I had never seen the archetype walkthroughs before now. Power sets had waaaay cooler names back then.

Who wouldnt prefer 'icy onslaught' to 'ice manipulation'?

Or 'earth grasp' to plain 'earth control'

Why the change to generic names Cryptic?

First of all I've seen what happens when you start putting thoughts together :shiver:
JUST KIDDING!!

As for what I'd like to see in a story arc. How about some bacstorys on Hero 1. We all lost our capes in his honor for awhile remember? And as a matter of fact, just because nobody in Paragon City knows what happend to Hero 1 and crew on the other side of that portal into the Rikti homeworld (Boy I hope I dont have my CoH history screwed up, it'll make me look as stupid as say, complaining about my 10 PERSON group. LOL) doesnt mean we cant have a comic issue arc showing whats happend there. Maybe Hero 1 isnt dead?

I think in issue 9 or something, and this is just a hunch, Omega Team will reappear. Or at least their bodies will...but what, or who, is in their minds? It's a classic hook, it has to be used.

*seconds the wonder if those are continuity storylines*

I remember when the scrapper walkthru was posted, Statesman specifically pointed out the Inner Will part of Herald's origin. I keep hoping for Pax to show up more in game.
