There you have it folks! Synapse is the Red Shirt of CoH.

Always getting killed, but never dead.

[/ QUOTE ]

He's not a red shirt he's CoH's Kenny.

[/ QUOTE ]

No, actually, they accurately portray him as a Blaster. If you noticed, it was the defender (Manticore) who suggested that he go in first... not the "tanker" or "scrapper" but the Defender. And, like all head-strong blasters, Synapse probably thought, well, if the Defender has my back, I can be the first one through the door...

I thought that a total of 2 times in my career... the first, was in a clockwork mission where my GF (a high level defender) suggested I go right and our scrapper go left while she stayed in the middle to heal both of us... Debt!

The second, I was granted invisibility by said GF, and our Tanker suggested I SS around to scout... Do you know that Demons spawn out of portals even if you have this kind of stealth? Do you know that is a Demon blocks a doorway and you try to go through, they will ALL see you... Debt!

This just goes to show what the Devs think of Blasters... They are jealous of their damage potential, so they think they should be sent in early and killed quickly.

Just kidding, but the video does show the typical mortality rate of most missions!

Synapse was killed by Travel Power Suppression.

Although if this was all true to form, the Defender would have been killed first. Lord Recluse would have ignored Statesmen (not even monologing him) and said "Take your positions to hunt the Defender".

The following 9:50 would consist of Manitcore being killed over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again.

Sigh.
MOST CAUCASIAN Americans from the USA are descendants of the British or and have a bit of their genes. The others are from all over the world i.e. the Jews,Hispanics and African blacks.
The Quakers were some of the earliest settlers.
Anyway I think Synapse is alive.

Of course he is not. Statesman is leaning over to rez him when attacked by Scirocco.

Actually, if you pay attention, you'll notice he's just taking his wallet.

Statesman can be a real d**k like that.

That was my first thought too. Ramen goood

I never said Ramen was bad. Only Europeans.

You know that all you americans descend from europeans?

[/ QUOTE ]

Seriously? Wow. So that big jungle area where those white people came and dragged my ancestors kicking and screaming to this country was EUROPE?!

And that wide, open expanse where those white people came and slaughtered my FRIENDS ancestors, and hearded them into little reservations was EUROPE? And that place with the temples and all the rice fields where my other friend's ancestors came from so they could help build our rail-roads was EUROPE?

Wow, man, I had no idea Europe was so freaking big.

Yup. All Europe. Who knew?

Holy crap, did any of you consider that maybe he's just unconscious?

Manticore posted he wasn't dead.

BTW, I had no idea Europe was that big either - I need to get an updated map.

It's to not offend Europeans. So many Europeans died in World War II that they refuse to show people dieing in the movies because it brings up bad memories.

Good thing too. Now I can stop my subscriptiong to National Geographic!

Ya, someone tell that to my *child* who certainly wasn't entirely descended from any half-barbaric (as of 2500 years ago) lands. Sheesh.

Darn Europeans. Their at fault for everything. Statesman even nerfed my pants just to appease the Europeans!

So far we've got all non-European descended Americans pissed off, plus some blasters. In another thread, posters feverishly debate whether Koreans killed The Statesman.

New conspiracy theory: Cryptic is being controlled by the 5th Column... thought gone, they manipulate the minds of America through CGI-laden promotional movies!

You know what I find funny? I made a post poking fun at the whole "5th Column was changed because of the Europeans" crap, and yet 90% of the replies have been from people thinking I was badmouthing Ramen.

This half-Korean is going to be going berserk and seeing heads roll if that "oh noes, the Koreans are going to screw up our game" nonsense keeps up.

*chuckles* Silly Miss_Kitty. *pats*

I'm not even really sure why I'm getting so defensive over the two Korean threads. I've only been in my mother's country twice, and I've lived in the freakin' US pretty much all my life.

Then again, no one on the forums really needs a soliloquy or a run-down of my personal life, so... *un-dons her tinfoil hat and tries to ignore the irksome threads*

I have seen this xenophobia junk on other forums and I had really hoped that CoH wouldn't get the disease.

Don't hate ramen just because it's tasty and inexpensive!

Every culture has it's heroes (and tasty snack treats). The heroes of Paragon have had many alliances with heroes of other countries in times of war and peace.

(Insert Web of Arachnos subliminal message)

A hero is a hero, is a hero. Korean, English, Mutant, American or Kheldian. All heroes would do well to remember that, not just in times of need.
