I know, I know, "This is just another theme based SG and those never work..." but consider:

Actually, we're going to expand it to include 'trollers. I think our first one joined yesterday.
We did a few mished with 5 rad defenders and a troller with a rad secondardy. Massive damage, massive debuffs and my level 4 defender ran all across Skyway hopped-up on 4 AMs. Loads of fun!

BRAND NEW SG: Kittens Unleashed.
Requirements: Catgirls only. Yup, that's right. It's themed. Not to mention a willingness to have fun and a willingness to not runaway at the first sign of debt...sometimes it just takes getting everyone's act together to pull off something you thought couldnt be pulled off.
This SG is brand new. What does that mean? It means you will be joining a SG and helping work it's way up.
This means we really have nothing to offer yet in terms of a base tho. :P
However, on the plus side. I've been playing this game for over a year and half. I'm not going anywhere, this group will be staying around.
Website? I plan on getting one going, if the SG gets going.
Plans for the future? Everything CoH has to offer. Planned SG events (TFs, badge hunts...ect).

I've got a radiation defender that's a lowbie, and I was thinking about joining. But I won't join an SG that makes me stick to a specific costume or choose specific powers. I want to make the character *I* want to make.
Have you ever used fallout? The radius is so small that the bad guys have to be practicaly standing on top of the corpse for it to hit them. Fallout is the most skippable power in radiation, as far as I am concerned. I worry that your tactic wil not work as good as you think.

It works, I've seen it in action.
However, what they seem to be forgetting on their site, is that you need Recall Friend as well.
As for the costume, you do get 4 slots. Not to mention, no one is forcing you to join. I'm sure you know this...this was more just to tell ya I've seen it in action (not with them) and it works.
But then again, you could have a team of 8 RADS/ and still own, without using that method. I can't tell you if it's faster or not.

With that many rads, the time to TP the body and use fallout would probably take longer than just mowing through them. Besides, the radius is still tiny, and you'd have to clean up anyways.

I've tried Fallout, and from the first few uses, I could tell it wasn't as good as it sounded. And I have been on all rad teams, defenders and trollers, and it was the fastest I have ever blown through missions.
Also, the odd thing is, you have to die on purpose to make it work, because there is no way you'd die if you ran it normally, with that many AMs, RIs and EFs. If you need a person to run in all suicidal, hire a blaster!

Recently I checked this out. I was looking for a new home where I could actually find a team on my SG, I got so tired of SG's where I was the only one on when I logged in, and I ran into a great bunch of people with the Legion of Valor. They have a wonderful website and an awesome community of mature players. I have a lot of fun attending and creating super group events and getting to know all of the players. Its the best SG I have ever been a part of. Just my two cents.

After the Great Hamster Fracus II, most of the survivors from the Shield of Valor banded together with me, Celtic (The_Scotsman, aka Manticore's Cabin Boy), Kong, and Krole to form the Fist of Justice.
This group also doubles as the sister group villains of Shadows of Victory.
This is a fairly casual but active group. As a point of policy, we try to recruit mainly from the forums, through members are always encouraged to bring in good people that they know/come across. As such, we have a fairly high level of competency in the group, with many of Victory Forum's people having their mains/highly played alts in the group. Forum posting isn't required, but reading the forums and being knowledgable about the game is highly encouraged.
Mainly a pve group, through light pvp'ing is done. Good network of coalitions setup. All members hang out in the global channel Victory Forum.
While we're not the sort to go zone to zone spamming for members, having a full active group is nice, both in terms of team ups and building up on a base.
Superbases, sadly, need a good membership base. Combined with everyone playing CoV, that makes it even harder to get a lot of prestige for a base in CoH.
Currently, there's only so much you can do with a base. PvE wise, we're well past where we need to be. When Instant Base Raids work, I'd like to be doing that more often. Items of Power raiding is also of interest, but as that's currently a major screw job if you get raided, it's of a side concern.
SG Rules:
<ul type="square"> [*]Team. With anyone! SG is big on large teams.[*]Join the global channel Victory Forum. Good place for teaming, game discussion.[*]Please keep coalition chat to a minimum. Coalitions were setup with the understanding that they'd be mainly has a teamup channel, rare monster spotting, etc. Not as a general chat line. However, alts can be kicked for more active players/alts. Majority of the sg is given basic invite ability, in order to help sg makes switch out/in alts they're playing for the evening.[*]Any character afk greater then 20 days can be subject to kicking, but this isn't a hard rule. Most of the group is afk less then 7, with a few greater then 30, one afk at 52. If/when space is needed, most afk person is kicked and in-game emailed.[*]We ask that Tech based salvage to saved for the sg use. All magic based salvage is to be shared/kept for yourself, for use in the self-buff stations. [*]SG mode is only required pre-level 30. Post level 30, just highly encouraged. If you need cash, we have many rich people who are willing to help you transfer cash or out right give you some.[/list]

Rainbow Alpha Force (RAF) is a GLBT super group on the City of Heroes Victory server the unofficial glbt server.
Anyone seeking to join our ranks should contact anyone of the listed contacts on our website either via their global in game chat name or the SG email.
The RAF is primarily a social group; we run missions together often and enjoy each others company. Secondly we are a PvE based as opposed to PvP.
We have members who do PvP but it is not at the moment the RAFs main goal. In the near future we may be engaging in more PvP action as an SG
In response to in game restrictions limiting SG size to 75 members anyone that has 40 days inactivity MAY be kicked off the SG to make room for new members.

This coalition enables the separate SGs to speak via a coalition chat channel which in turn allows each of us a huge resource of like minded players. Also there is a Global channel named PRIDE which allows a player to communicate to other PRIDE members across all the servers.
