Hey kids - it's been a while since I've chimed in to mention my group (The League of Angry Dudes - L.O.A.D.) and our website (been on a bit of a break for real world reasons), but the site is up and running with some new content that I thought might be worth giving a heads up on. This ranges from some added newsgroups to having a prerecorded update from yours truly that I post when the mood strikes me.
Anyways, if you'd like a little break from the usual, check us out - we're always evolving and willing to try new ideas out as we continue playing. Hope to hear from you all soon!
Anyone wanna take my lvl32 AR/Dev Maintenance Man in? I do have RAF but jus about all my toons are in there and its getting pretty full. I really wanna start workin on either MM or my lvl27 tank Rush and I know SG's are really helpful for finding teams and leveling.

Hours : CP is usually on during the day EST on weekdays and afternoons evenings on the weekends.
Members : Looking for new players. Not really interested in powerleveling to 50. Its the Journey not the Destination.
More about Cat's Pajamas : While I happen to be into roleplaying CP, no one in the group is required to. I have several alts and I'm in no hurry to see the 'end' of Cat's adventures by getting her to 50 in 3 months.
Our SG has a basic base (The Cat's Lair - yeah I know there are probably 30 different cat themed SG's out there with the same name but I didn't really want to call it The Cat Box). Since CP does almost exclusive soloing (until recently), and is the Badge Hunter of my alts, I've got most of the beacons for the Zones that she can get around. There is a Storage Bay and a Teleporter (currently set to Steel Canyon for the Halloween event).
CP isn't too hung up on getting her own missions done and is more than willing to spend an afternoon Exemplered to show new players the basics of the game and playing strategies.
I'm planning on spending the rest of the Halloween event passing out ToTing Salvage and carpooling low level players back and forth to Croatoa.

I have a SG, rather new, just myself and a friend in it, The Praetorians. We both play only about once a week, and would really appreciate any members that play on a regular basis to join. Can offer top billing once trust is earned(meaning not changing the SG to some silly gathering). I would really like to get this thing going. Also, on the dark side(CoV), Profit, Inc. Same guidelines apply.
Might as well start advertising for this one early. I was going to do a recruiting drive once the Toga costume part is available again during Valentine's 2007, but I guess it doesn't hurt to spread the word.
I've started quietly building Polias, a SG whose name means "protector of the city" in Greek. It's a theme SG for Greek heroes and divinities, featuring a large gamut of play styles. We do not have a website yet. Features include:
* I want folks' backstories to be related to Greek and/or Roman mythology. I'm expecting all the stormies named some variant on "Zeus" to show up, but I won't turn down something silly like "Mecha-Aristotle" if you'll have fun playing him, or some other tech hero whose concept is that he's wearing Hephaestus' Iron Man suit or something. What I don't want is misspelled names or a random name with random powers and no bio written to tie it into the mythology or history.
* I'm leading it and I'm into badges, so we'll have TP beacons shortly. In the process of getting Immortal and Empath, I'm going to unlock auto-docs and such. Athena also has enough influence to get you started, and will have an inf-for-prestige awards program.
* There will be a fair bit o' roleplaying, as we have some RPers interested. I'm researching Greek holidays now to find the correct days to hold festivals. These will consist of parades, races, gladitorial events and so on. I've got some docs to help people with binds if they want to fire off large amounts of RP text to help custom-craft their characters.
* There will be some SG PVP events with RP elements, which given the speed at which PVP happens, will mostly be taunting binds about how we're going to sack the villain base in BB and carry off the women. (Okay, I'm not sure if Fortunatas really count as women, but if it's chained to my loom spinning me a tapestry, it's close enough for jazz. That's "defeated," right? 
)
We need some more members to get this crew up and running, so if you've got a Greek hero, nymph, demigod, or reformed monster in mind, let's hear it. My global is @Athena Nike.
