We have had this question forum for quite a while now, so some of the questions that are asked many times are starting to get pushed down to the bottom, and asked and answered many times over. To save your time when you are looking for an answer, please follow this advice.

If you are looking for information about your NCSoft Account, i.e. activation, cancellations, buying a second account, your best resources is the NCSoft Support Page for answers such as;

What happens to my account and characters if I deactivate my account?

Where can I buy a second CD-Key?

When it comes to questions like this you will want the information from the source, most people that answer here will be quoting information from this site.

If your question regards other areas, your best bet is to use the Search feature of this forum. The search feature is not as easy to use as Google or other search engines, but there is a great resource on How to use Forum Search in the Guide to Guides.

Speaking of the Guide to Guides, it should be the first place you look for answers on game play mechanics. When you want to know what enhancement does what, where a badge is, or etc, the Guide to Guides has all the information you need and more. Answers about Key Binds, as well as Chat Bubble Coloring are all found in the Guide to Guides. The Guide to Guides is located in the Player Guides section, which contains more information on Hero Creation, Power Pools, and general knowledge.

When you are looking for something in regards to a specific Arch Type (AT) your best resource is the individual forums for that AT. While this is the place to ask questions, there is a good chance that the matter may have been discussed in your AT’s forum.

When you are looking for an answer to a game feature, or a future game change the Dev Digest is a great place to find what you are looking for. It has the official answer from the names in red. Sometimes you may find that answers may have been pushed off the dev digest, but to get around that, you can just click on the Dev’s name and choose “Show all User’s Posts.” That way you can see all the Statesman, Positron, or Gecko posts.

Once you have done the steps listed above, you may have found your answer as well as answers to questions you didn’t even know you had. If you didn’t, please go ahead and post your question, please try and include as much information as possible, remember 99% of these questions are answered by regular users so the more background you give them, the better they will be able to answer.

great form and i also wanted to ask if you could change your heroes moves, i.e. lets say i got super jump but i wanted fly, could you do a mission or something to chang that?

Posted

you could either pick up the flight power pool to go with super jump (dont know why you would though) or when you respec you can pick flight instead of leaping.

Might I suggest that when you are including that information in your question, don't neglect the subject line. Give us a clue what your question is, don't just say things like "Help!", or "This sucks!" or "I have a problem".

Someone who knows the answer to your problem might skip over it in favor a topic where they think they might have an answer.

Even better, it helps someone else that has the same question and keeps them from repeating the question.

Just to update with some more questions and answers.

How do I put symbols in my binds such as musical notes, hearts, or (c)?

How do I set up a batch file to automatically delete my CheckSum.Coh file?

How do I use Global Chat?

Is account sharing legal?

Where are the Ritki in the Sewers?

What does DDD, AR/DEV, OMW mean?

So When Does Influence Become "Meaningless?"

My goal with this thread is to make it a sort of FAQ, that way people who have questions can get them answered fast. They won't have to wait for someone to respond, they can get the answer themselves quickly, or at least be armed with the tools to get them. Personally, I like that people are asking questions, it indicates a passion for the game and a desire to learn. This thread is not about discouraging questions, its more about helping people help themselves. In that spirit, if you see a question that pops up a lot in this forum, feel free to post the question and answer.

Very nice work Dead. Perhaps it would be a good idea to amass all the information on one page and post it in the Guides section? I'd hate to see any of the links here die out from a system purge.
