  1. Reactivation weekends are good. It's only extremely hilarious that my laptop can't run CoH, at least not well.

Hey everyone. I miss the whole atmosphere of Protector, but I don't think I'm returning just yet, heh.

I'll bump into you guys on the forums maybe.

    So Long...

You could say that I'm swearing off of virtual reality in favor of the "real" thing.
It is quite unbelievable how long I've (we've) stayed with this one game. The game has simply been able to adapt extremely well.

Everyone - the community - will be missed, we really are our own city.

And thanks Stale, everything works, I do have a Facebook account.

    So Long...

There were cliches! They were just outlined instead of described in detail :P
  4. Flame_Wrath

    So Long...

Well, it's been a great five years or so, but it's time for me to make a more prolonged break as I not only do not have that much time for City of Heroes or games but also I have "overloaded" on CoH, it doesn't entertain me much anymore; everyone's experienced that from time to time I'm sure.

In this paragraph, I'm going to avoid the cliche of avoiding the "good times I had" cliche speech by just outlining that I've met some great, cool and fun people and I hope I'll eventually return to this community or to a similar one, hopefully to this one obviously though.

Cheers, and see you around Protector

    Super Mario Strikers: Charged!

It's awesome! (Mario Soccer, essentially, trust me, it's a beautiful game.)
  6. Well, I broke my oath of not joining any more drama, but I'd like to say...

Although I have small feelings toward whether you should stay or you should go (but I personally would stay), I'd like to agree with wolfie about one thing.

If you continue to "hide" behind AS then you are literally holding yourself back. If you believe that you can be better than AS or overcome it, then you easily can, as long as you believe. Don't ever blame a "condition" you have (and I'm glad you put that in quotes), blame yourself. As Major T said, you should better yourself and improve yourself. In response to that you simply said that it's not going to happen. Well, if you say that and don't believe it then OF COURSE it's not going to happen.

    Cheers,
  7. Someone make a birthday thread for Major T. I'm too lazy...

Happy Birthday Major T, may you have an awesome day and year, at which point these wishes expire and are subject to be replaced by new ones.

  10. Republished - had some things sorted out and I wanted to have them saved locally along with some testing. Actually, firstly I was thinking about taking it off altogether, heh. If you've already played it, not enough has changed for it to be worth replaying (unless of course you loved it ).

Oh thank goodness, I couldn't bear not being the record holder!

Congratulations to all the aforementioned people!
  14. Name: Crime Syndicate Incorporated

Currently Recruiting: We are recruiting any villains.
RP Level: RP-Friendly, not required nor do we participate in general

Theme/Concept: Alone, we are simply thugs. Together, incorporated, as a crime syndicate, we can control the world.

Activity: This is the villain version of a top 75 SG the Protectors, unfortunately we have let it slip far beyond activeness so we have roughly 4 individual active members.
Requirements for Membership: No actual requirements, though activity is obviously preferred to inactivity.
    Leadership: @NoSanityClaus, @FlameWrath, @Protonic Flux

    In-Game Contact(s): Same as leadership.

Out-of-Game Contact(s): My forum handle, Flame_Wrath, should be sufficient.

URL: The Protectors - CSI or search The Protectors - CSI on www.guildportal.com

Coalition(s): We are coalitioned to former members' villain groups, I believe, but we are looking for new and active coalition relationships to begin.

Other Details: As of right now, no regular events. As I mentioned before, this is the villain version of the Protectors, which you are free to join as well.

We welcome all! See you all around.
  15. Yeah, I took out Acrobatics and slotted a KB IO in Temperature Protection. Also, I put a KB IO in Combat Jumping just to be very well protected.

  17. I liked the numbers you posted. This is a completely different way to look at Shields, and it does make sense, but I have only played it to a relatively low level and a limited amount of time.

What many people might be looking for are comparisons to other sets, because that seems like what the main issue was, that they are sub-par 'comparing to'.

I'll let people with more Shield experience carry on.

    Thanks!
