Teen body official statement?

Teen body types? Are you referencing an interview or post somewhere that mentions some of what may be included in Issue 3? Mind providing a link if so? Never heard anything at all about new body types outside of a new winged archtype that might be on the way.
It would be nice to know if they plan to have them in issue three, but I REALLY want to know if we can switch out current characters.
I cannot play my favorite character because my instincts tell me that I'm going to have to start over later. Ive even logged on, looked at the character, and logged right back off because it was the only character I felt like playing, but cant bear the thought that any work I do now will just be deleted later.
I just want a yes or no answer so I can move on.
It was mentioned in the MMO Radio interview Statesman did in August ... can google for a transcript.

Where did you guys read about any indication that there would ever be new body types at all? Your post about it as if it is an eventual certainty.
I'd love to see a link to the info so I can check out any teasers on any other new stuff that might be coming down the pike.

Unless there is some new interview or post, this was answered during Beta. I suggest you play your characters because they don't seem to be changing their minds on this.
They do not have teen/child body types because of the whole "violence against children" thing.
Its been announced teen and animal body types are going to be available. It honestly wouldnt be THAT hard to allow you to swap to a new model. I think they definately should allow it.
Animal? I read the interview saying that teen bodies were coming, but I don't remember anything about animal. The only Dev comment I can remember about animals was that they haven't worked out the problems with 4 legged creatures yet.

It has? Hmmm. Not to my knowledge. Maybe a "yes, that's on the plate." But definitely not a "yeah it's in the next update."
But, aside from an Epic Archetype, I haven't alluded to anything in specific coming out this update (oh - and the SSOCS, but that might be delayed). So maybe we will have teens and shapeshifting in.
Or maybe not.

LOL, I swear the statesman is an ex-politition. His abbility to answer questions without actually answering them is uncanny .
Noooo not a delay on the SSOCS!! wait.. whats an SSOCS?.. OH! yeah! THAT SSOCS... well.. since I still dont know what the heck it is I wont be too disappointed if it is delayed slightly.
Anyone else notice he said Expansion 2: Council of War? Expansion 2? I thought we were up to 3 buddy

Does anyone else pronouce it as "socks", or is that just me?
Remember, the Cryptic does everything so that it'll be released early, so when they say "delay", they really mean "on time". At least, so far when they've given a timeframe they've delivered toward the earlier ends, and when they've said it might be delayed it usually isn't (unless it's something that's like 5+ months away), and even when they say something is impossible they pull it off anyway (badge datamining, anyone? ^_^). But shapeshifting in Council of War? I don't think I've even heard that as a possibility before! That would be awesome...
Yeah, can someone explain the SSOCS thing to those of us that are in the dark?

Thing is guys, Cryptic has 2 months to get stuff made for update 2 if they want to get it on test by late November in order to make a competitive showing during the holiday season by then hopefully going Live with Update 3 while the kids are home from school and college.
So they don't know what they will get done in time.
Statesman has mentioned a lot of the stuff that is on the plate, but a lot of it is for CoV. Some of it is in the works, but they aren't making promises for Update 3. My guess is that it will be a substantially smaller update than 1 or 2 in order to get it on test in mid-to-late November.
Really, they only have a month before it needs to be "done" and being tested and fixed internally. That doesn't give them a lot of time for a humungo update.
My guess is that they'll play it safe and put it on the green in 2.
The Teen body is more than likely going to feature the cool neo-Anime style present in many modern comics. Has there been an official statement about whether they'll let you switch from Adult to Teen, you know, for all the teen characters that are already out there? I thought the word on the street was 'not possible'. It'd be nice to know, so as to decide if this game is currently worth investing time into.
I would kind of anticipate at least perhaps a one time switch upon logging the character in after the new models are added. Unless the designers really don't think they can keep the game interesting without adding X number of reasons to go through it again. That would be a shame, because once they fix the few remaining bugs in the Exemplar system, you can pretty much enjoy the entire experience without having to constantly reroll alts.
