  1. Any chance that, while you're there, you guys can strongarm Eden Studios into updating their CoHRPG site?

Their last update was June 5, 2006.
  2. I'm an altoholic and I have been living with a serious problem.

No, not altoholism, but the time it takes to adjust the UI and mouse settings when you create a new character. I have, however, found a solution.

With a simple bind, I can eliminate most of the time spent altering the screen to suit my tastes.

    NEW.TXT[ QUOTE ]
    bind l "mouseinvert 1$$alttraysticky$$gototrayalt 2$$gototrayalt2 3$$windowscale chat .85$$windowscale tray .85$$windowscale target .85$$windowscale nav .85$$windowscale status .85$$unbind l"

    [/ QUOTE ]

On character creation, simply type: /bindloadfile c:/{bind location}/new.txt and hit "l".

This shrinks my UI (running on a 14" monitor ), flips the mouse-look to what I'm comfortable with, sets up a double-tray for powers, and sets up the trays in a 1-2-3 configuration. After that, it resets the "l" key to default.

Now all I have to do is figure out how to force the names and icons to display with a /command and I'm all set.
  3. Thanks for the guide. I have not been able to run a scrapper effectively until this build.

My only mod is, thanks to the Safeguard rewards, taking Build Up ASAP and skipping travel powers for now. This has granted me Health by 14 (I cannot wait for Unyielding).

PS: My main is one of those mythical Grav/Emp 'trollers. VERY different play style. Heck, I never knew you could one-shot something.

    Bodyguard

Heck, have a %chance of taking the Bodyguards with you when you are 'ported.

Electric: Make end drain meaningful or replace it.

    [/ QUOTE ]
If they are gung-ho with End Drain, they should make it a %, not a set value.

Frankly, I would rather see them stick a 4sec Sleep effect on Electric attacks.
  6. When Defiance was first on Test, it was nigh on to impossible to get any benefit from it. You only saw a noticeable boost when your health was less than 25%-ish.

Defiance was modified to start giving a noticed benefit once health dropped below 50%.

Now, my two Blasters are among my alts so I cannot give an exact date/patch, but it sure seems like Defiance has been rolled back to the original Test version. I have not seen the Defiance bar move past 5%, even when in the blinking red.

btw- If it matters, my toons are on Justice.

The numpad doesn't always like to activate the power on the first try which means you'll have to double tap the number to get things to work.

[/ QUOTE ]I found this trick from the old Curveball guide:

Make two files, heal#a.txt and heal#b.txt, for each numpad key. For example, here are heal1a.txt and heal1b.txt

    heal1a.txt:
    numpad1 "+down$$-down$$team_select 1$$bind_load_file c:/coh/heal1b.txt"

    heal1b.txt:
    numpad1 "+down$$-down$$powexec_name heal other$$bind_load_file c:/coh/heal1a.txt"

You then use the string from heal1a.txt to bind the numpad1 key.

For whatever reason, the +down$$-down$$ allows for the teamselect to work on the keypress and the heal to work when you let go of the key.
  8. Unless there is some new interview or post, this was answered during Beta. I suggest you play your characters because they don't seem to be changing their minds on this.

They do not have teen/child body types because of the whole "violence against children" thing.
