[/ QUOTE ]give up all hope of doing damage worth a damn.in exchange you will (eventually)be almost unkillable(granite armor),and have one soft control that is pretty damn handy(ice patch).
most guides that have the separate power sets can give you a good idea what they do by themselves.
the combo strategy is pretty simple.port in to the strongest concentration of foes, drop an ice patch.port to the second strongest and then taunt whoever is left outside of your damage aura's taunt range.

Yeah... Me and my old SG had a joke about Stone/Ice...
"It's like punching a brick wall. You wont kill it, but it wont kill you either."
...I think we where drunk, so it was a lot funnier back then.

As a curiousity, is there a Ice/Dual Blades guide out there? I've been wondering how it would go, but I haven't really Tanked before.
I had an Ice/Dual.....I played him to like 24....I scrapped him. Maybe I'll give it another go in the future. He just seemed a lil too squishy. Dual blades doesn't give much on the stun/KB side. So enemies just keep attacking you. Savior of the Ice build would be the ice patch. I forget though it that part of ice armor or ice melee? Any how...dual attack don't really help with mitigation like stone, ice, or many other secondaries. I think dual has one attach that lowers the enemy (not enemies) defense. I think with dual you need a primary that give -res or -def or something to enemies. I have a WP/Dual I may re-roll.
I have finalized my latest guide:
[b] The Untamed Shrew: Aggro for Willpower Tankers.
Thanks to all who commented on the draft!
