I just put Whirlwind on my second build and could attack with it.
It's way better then I thought it was, still not as good as repel. -
You can attack with Repel running, you can't attack with Whirlwind running.
There's a big performance gap between whirlwind and repel. -

Flameshot maybe if you clicked the link Aveata put in the announcement you would see the PM is a typo.
Go back to the announcement click the link and look at the US times. You'll see the are all AM times. Hey look 4am in Los Angles, hey look 7am in NY, hey look 6am in Chicago.
She has to do the same message in 3 languages cut her some slack. -

Paragon Studios recently announced that City of Heroes Producer Jesse "Ghost Falcon" Caceres would be moving to a different position at the studio -
The bad flavicon is in the https folder
https://boards.cityofheroes.com/login.php?do=login
Chrome changes my flavicon to the real CoH flavicon once I'm done with the login process and back at http://.
Firefox doesn't seem to want to give up the imposter flavicon.
When you enter your username and passwod that whole process sends you though a secure "server" so people can't steal your info. The flavicon in the secure "server" is the wrong flavicon so someone needs to change that come Monday. Then someone needs to give me my Vanguard pack early as payment for solving the praetorain flavicon mystery.
I canz haz bughuterz plz? -
If you're going to set up characters just to farm Amerits there're a few builds that can do it better then others. I'm a fan of DB stalkers and DP/Dev blasters.
You'll want to cut down on time running around in mission looking for bosses and glowies. Something like Blinkie Finder or CoH Radar will really help cut down on your search time.
What both those programs do is read a demorecord of the mission you are in and show you where everything on the map is at. As long as it already spawned. Lots of tips mission have you completing one objective before the others spawn.
If you don't play in windowed mode you'll find something like this a hassle and if I didn't have dual monitors I wouldn't even bother. I'm using Blinkie Finder it helps me spend less time on my farm toons and spend more time on my incarnates or alts.
Also what helps farming Amerits more then these programs is playing with your map open and having a tab setup that just shows NPC dialog. I constantly run across vets how don't seem to realize you can resize that map and having open in the corner of your screen. -
I'd love mez protection on my squishes.

I'm used to the time-gate on the Amerits so it doesn't bother me that much, but I feel sorry for anyone who builds up a double digit pile of Amerits and then learns that spending them is time gated. It's super harsh to learn that rule like that.

I don't normally purple my characters but my Ice Tank feels neglected and I want to cheer her up. I want to do it on the cheap though. I can put 5 slots into any pool power or epic pool, I'll even go villian if the cheapest option is in a Patron Pool.
Any suggestions? -
I have a level 40 elec/dev left over from the old days (pre ED). It worked then since I could 6 slot damage in my two attacks but post ED I've found Elec is to weak for a blaster unless you pair it with some blaps.
One nice thing about being a Elec/Dev trapper is you can set up your traps right around the corner from the boss mob and use sparky to pull them. You can cast Sparky around corners for the super safe pull. In the past Sparky has killed Tsoo Inkmen and Rikti Mentalist who where chain mezzing me over and over.
I've noticed on my other /devs that the pet bug (running into melee) is a buff when it comes to auto turrent. Auto Turrent can hold some agro and since its rushing out in front of you, a little 2 or 3 mob pile forms up around your turrent. Perfect setup for Sands of Mu. -
I think it's just the same patch they applied to live on Tuesday. It was a fix for the monstrousness loading times several of us were experiencing.

If you play with two monitors animations with long cast times are great. I can multi-task on the second monitor during snipes.
By multi-task I mean surf the web. -
If one of those numinas is the regen/recovery unigue you'll want to put it into health so you get the bonus all the time. If you put it into Aid Self you'd only get the bonus for 10 secs after you used the power.
The set bonuses on the other hand will apply if you click the power or not, they are always on. Those 2 Numinas in Aid Self would always grant you 12% regen.
Unless you exempt down in levels. -
Just to get it out of the way, are you seeing your SG colors?

I don't think you can call it hyperinflation since our earning power has risen at the same time. A-merits have added a real nice way to earn influ and rewards and not force major changes on a persons playstyle.

I think you want the boot team member because someone has gone AFK in the mission, or has DC'd leaving that mission and the game thinks they are still inside the mission.
Just kick them and send them a reinvite, you can even add a tell briefly explaining why they were kicked and reinvited. I've found the tell about why they were kicked to not be all that important. If people come back from AFK and see a reinvite waiting for them, they are happy and don't really care.
I'll take the boot option if they give it to us, but kicking and reinviting works alright as a stop gap measure. -
Watch out for the pylons by the second door.
It's embarrassing to die outside a mission like that. -
Stalkers getting a small amount of unsuppressable stealth would help in some small way with this problem. It won't help if all the ambushes are zeroing in on the stalker but it will help mitagate the problem somewhat when a stalker is dealing with an ambush and wanders into the perception range of some mob the stalker had no intention of fighting in the first place.
