This, when you are on a team of maybe 3 or more people you cant count on very many insp to drop. It's one of the reasons i highly recommend getting veng. It helps to make up for the fact that you aren't getting many (if any at all) purples.

To post the data chunk go to import/export> short (or long) forum export, then click the box that says "only post data chunk" near the bottom left of the window that opened up.

I kind of think it is, its one of the reasons i like to pair it with /FA or /SD. But if you get mu i think that can really help make up for the lack of AoE (this is what i did on my DM/SR)
Plus, i find DM to be one of the most survivable melee sets out there...being unkillable is fun. -
I have to say, i also LOVE my SS/fire on ITFs. I tend to do exactly this on most of them i run.
I remember when i did that solo MoITF...so much fun. -
Yeah, build is pretty awful...you dont even have KoB. It pretty pricey if you want a budget build, and you still only have 4 point of -KB. Fireball is WAY under slotted (and i would recomend soul mastery in the first place) Oh, and you dont have FF+rech in foot stomp
I would have to completely rework it to put something good together -
Attach the data chunk, infact that is the only thing you need to post.
-
I actually think all of the new powers sounds pretty bad. I tend to never get a travel power if my main were to make room for them i would expect him to preform worse.
-
Dont use oblits in anything but burn. An yes, i generally recomend franking FS. I only put a couple slots in blazing aura though, generally dam/end
-
+rech from hasten doesnt stack last i remember.
-
Your end will be awful, you are using the oblit set more than you should. It's really a freakishly overated set.

Quote:If it rechages all of your powers instantly outside of primary and secondary powers then yeah....10-15 min it PANCAKEPANCAKEPANCAKEPANCAKEPANCAKEPANCAKEPANCAKE OP. But if it only does primary/secondary powers then i think 10-15 wouldnt be to bad considering most of these powers already rech pretty quickly. That is kinda long to wait for an hour for a power to recharge, hell I think 30 is to long as well. I think 10-15 would be better and keep the unbuffable recharge. The ability to use it 4 times an hour IMO would not be a bad thing. I could even see it at a 20 min recharge and use it 3 times an hour.
Also, source?
uh, wtf just happened to my post O.O Dont even know if i want to fix that lol. -
Quote:mmhmmThis whole thread reminds me a little of the old "Fire Tanker Club" days in early CoH... Firetankers were OP, knew they were OP, and the "old guard" had the "Fire Tanker Club Motto" - The First Rule of the Fire Tanker Club is, you don't talk about the Fire Tanker Club.
Then the new fire tankers started ranting about how powerful Fire Tankers were all over the forums... And Fire Tankers got nerfed to the ground.
Just saying... -
Actually judging from the numbers i have seen, it does look pretty bad.

I dont really think its all that "game breaking." TFs have long been an awful way of gaining rewards.

Quote:mmk lots of things wrong with this.Take or leave it, but here is my advise;
Blazing Aura - On my build, I have more damage procs in it.
Stealth - Find a better home for that second slot.
Consume - On my build, I went with the taunt set that gives you a recharge set bonus with four. Even slotted that way, I get more then enough endurance to fill my bar when used.
Foot Stomp - Wondering why you took the Armgdn proc over the Armgdn Damage IO? I would think by the numbers, the damage IO would give you overall better damage then a proc. I mean, you can't count on your armgdn proc going off over the smaller but steadier damage numbers the straight-up armgdn damage IO is giving you.
First off procs are pure crap in toggles.
2nd the dmg proc is ALWAYS better than the dmg IO on purple sets...that dmg IO end up adding about 10% more dmg only after ED.
With FS, a 5 set of arm with the dmg IO gives you an average DPA of 117. With the proc you get an average of...147. Lets not forget that dmg proc keeps working when you are at the dmg cap but the dmg enhancements in your attacks begin to become worthless. -
Powers themselves generally only have a cap when it comes to there max targets. Th rest is governed by AT limits
Burst has lower base dmg and a longer animation. It can however take the FF+rech proc and has a lower base recharge. -
End looks pretty awful. without a full mob to use consume on you are ******.
-
It doesnt work like that. The enhancements get added to the final dmg, they dont start acting as the base. Basically out of all the ATs enhancing for dmg is the least useful on brutes as it gets completely over shadowed by fury. Infact, i think dmg should generally be pretty low on the list of things to slot for, covering rech/end first on a bure. Especially an SS/ brute.
-
Holy ****, OP that build is horrible...sorry. MajorTractor posted something very nice, id recommend using that.
-
Fiery embrace doesnt buff fire dmg any more than it buffs other types of dmg any more.
But ive been wondering myself, FSC really does look epic and since you can likely dmg cap with reds it might just end up pulling out ahead.
Breath of fire wouldnt be usefull at all because you can already maintain a full attack chain though.
I think the lost of FF+rech proc would REALLY suck. -
This. Hell...i dont like granite at all (even on tanks). Id rather have someone on my team that can actually...you know...kill stuff.
