Never had a high level SR brute but I think you should switch out something for practice brawler because from what I know you should get every power in SR unless you dont want elude. Maybe Hand Clap most SS brutes I see dont use it because it does not do damage I assume.

Okay I threw this together in like 5 min trying to take the same power picks as you and its still kinda not great, but way better that what you have.

It is soft-capped to melee, ranged, and aoe, has better regeneration, recovery, recharge, better accuracy through rage, and most importantly all its attacks are actually slotted for damage!

The build still has 8 slots to place because I stopped caring. I kinda hope the original build is a joke....but here ya go.

Ever think about slotting your attacks for damage? Just think of what Fury + rage can do to Knock Out Blow if it actually had it's damage doubled with enhancements!

This is a nice build that should treat you well. It is not the best build, and it could even be considered not a great build. But it should keep you from dying all the time, and allow you fair damage output. I put alternate slotting for the powers with purples if you don't want to use them. (Not sure if exports port secondary slottings).

Your character does not have capped defense. Depending on your AT the cap is between 175% - 225%. Your defense is not teal in the combat window, it can go higher. STOP SAYING IT IS CAPPED! The correct term is Soft Cap.
I enjoy playing in Mids. I specialize in Melee Characters, other AT's usually bore me.

It doesnt work like that. The enhancements get added to the final dmg, they dont start acting as the base. Basically out of all the ATs enhancing for dmg is the least useful on brutes as it gets completely over shadowed by fury. Infact, i think dmg should generally be pretty low on the list of things to slot for, covering rech/end first on a bure. Especially an SS/ brute.

OMG SP did you make that first build? If so you need to be shot! lol ( This is Scataloni btw hiya ) Pine's build looks solid just replace the purples with crushing impacts mako's etc.

Practiced Brawler is a must and you only need one recharge like Pine did, while everyone around you is getting mezzed, put to sleep, stunned your still kicking butt because PB is keeping you that way. I keep mine on autofire and just click on hasten when its up.

Takes some getting use to because on all my other toons Hasten is on autofire. Give Pines build a try and let us know how you like it.
