Always sums up why Hamill's Joker is king. The delivery and switch in tone is near flawless.

    Huh?

Ignoring films created by Pixar and DisneyToon Studios, WDAS already has their next two 3D cartoons lined up - Wreck it Ralph (11/2012) and Frozen (11/2013).

Edit: I guess we could toss in "Mickey Mouse" and "The King of Elves" while we're at it, though I suspect Elves will never see the light of day.
  4. Probably just focusing on the Summits in the future is my guess.
  5. Frequency.

But that's only because I've run low on AT/Power combinations I'm interested in trying.
  6. Been known for a while. And he already sorta came back in Season 2.
  7. Some of the villains are not the exact character, but close to it.

The zombie is clearly supposed to be one of the Johnny Series zombies from House of the Dead

More than likely not worth the time since the Princess Hat has been done and sitting in builds since 21.

It's like the firefighter's helmet and tri-corner: toss away test items to see if the fanbase was interested in purchasing very specific, inexpensive costume items.
  9. Ran it with three different leagues on virtue this afternoon. Succeeded every time.

Which is odd because I find that the "easier" trials are often exercises in cat herding for the first week.

Oh, there are good reasons. I'm sure they are concerned about their competitor getting "The Last Laugh" on them (in early June)
  11. I just pick an arc and run with it. I wouldn't even limit myself to a specific character, but rather the content of the story. I'm not a big Flash guy, but Flashpoint was an enjoyable read.

But I tend to stick to tradebacks, rather than individual issues.

Not call him a liar, but he wasn't doing it on Thursday while on Virtue.

Unless Nemesis is set up in my base, in addition to whatever zone he was in.

I'd take the warnings fine, but it's obtrusive to see messages like silly shout-outs when I'm not in the zone. Or that he didn't bring the warhorses this time. or whatever other nonsense.

The PVP thing they did a couple of weeks ago seemed to be done fine. I saw the message announcing the event, the Paragon Studio participants, and the goodbye message.

But even during the PS ran CCs, do I really need to see Positron and Ghost Witch informing the entire server about the difficulty in choosing a winner? Or how wonderfully imaginative people in Pocket D regarding clown costumes?

    Pass.

They usually are. I've picked up all the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles seasons at launch and they become painful after 4. Well, more painful after season 4. The appearance of one off characters, that became toys, never to reappear makes your head spin.

Another one I was disappointed to see was the Super Mario Bros. 3 show. Even as a kid, I knew the Super Mario Bros Super Show was awful, but I had such fond memories of SMB3. I turned it on for my niece and nephew after talking it up for hours and...well...we just turned it off after 2 episodes.

  15. Could be a bug.

I had the the Heart pattern show up on characters that didn't earn it, only to receive the SKU error when I checked the store.

    And there was my issue.

Vagueness about when and how the rewards are coming back should have been clarified before now.

But it worked out for them I guess. I dropped like $350 in one week in points to finish off 3 accounts to Tier 9 and learned the limitations of each point bundle. Self high five.

    The Wings

34 tokens are required to unlock the VIP Tier 9.

    Happy 8 years

I remembering seeing it in the store around launch and passing it by (I was a heavy EQ gamer).

For some reason (And I still don't know why to this day), I just assumed it was an MMO sequel to Freedom Force.

Fast forward to April 2005. Due to financial reasons, I practically gave up console gaming and needed an inexpensive replacement (At the time, I was spending over $300 a month on games). EBGames was running a special: City of Heroes (or the Collector's Edition) for $19.99 and they'd toss in a free copy of Lineage II.

My usual store only had the regular edition, so I had them call another store and hold the CE at one down the road. Picked it up and the rest was history.

Bought City of Villains at launch then relapsed for...5 years.

Came back in March 2010 due a reactivation weekend and the upcoming release of Going Rogue. Bought my wife her first account about a week later. And we've been here ever since.

Sounds like they may be doing what I thought regarding releases. Get i23 out the door quickly, have i24 several months down the road (Let's say October/November) and fill in the gap with pay content.

Not that I'm complaining. I'm all for spending money.

  22. Went ahead/in the process of pulling the trigger and getting enough points to unlock Celestial for various accounts.

The official response has been too noncommittal on the future availability of the set. I expect vague statements like "We're considering different methods of making these sets available. Once we decide, we'll be sure to update everyone" when the VIP costume sets system was first announced, not prior to one of them going away for an apparent undetermined (as of the time of that statement) amount of time. I suppose it's less vague than the original statements regarding the sets, but still.
  23. It was brought up during the I21 closed beta.

We were told it was not possible due to a database issue, if I recall.

As I said then and continue to say, give me the option to pick rewards I want. I didn't need the GR enhancements since I had them on all my accounts from pre-ordering the game, so I effectively had to waste a token on 2 enhancement boosters.

The licensed kits have been pretty great lately. The relaunched DC ones are really neat (I have the Catwoman Catcycle and Power Armor Lex ones) and Lord of the Rings is due out soon too.

Looks like it based on the LEGO kits I picked up today as well.
