To help clear diskspace, use crap cleaner ( www.ccleaner.com ).
It does a better job thatthe inbuilt MS one, and is freeware.
Then check if you have any DVD burning programs that have left lots of movies sitting on your HD. -
It may be less server load on freedom with more population than Virtue too, iirc they upgraded freedom's server.

I'll baaa baaaa *cough* buy it all too I reckon.
I like the trend of not overly influencing the game balance. -
Quote:Can you go through a web proxy like anonymouse? Though I'd be careful about using credit card numbers via them I guess. And while they're making changing to the NCsoft store, make them remove the IP check that prevents me from buying any booster packs and instead tells me to check a "local retailer" (my "local retailer" doesn't even sell COH anymore, and getting time card codes from them was a royal pain; they don't even know what super boosters are).
Otherwise, I guess you would need someone you trust living elsewhere to use your account details to buy it.
Hope you can get it! -

Quote:My family always preffered reason over sensless fighting. I would certainitly prefer my children to listen to 'your dads a (&(^^_)' and walk off, than react the way the fools want. (and working in same school as my child, I'm sure they'll hear it too)So far, so good.
It's called "developing a reputation" in real life as well, in case you missed it.
Once you get one, people pretty much leave you alone, if they've got nothing constructive to say to you.
Some people have their mothers teach them "if you don't have anything good to say, don't say anything at all."
Others.... Well, they have to learn the hard way.
"Alien"
*EDIT*
As a side note, I've never personally met someone that wasn't loyal enough to their immediate family to protect their mother, father, brother, and sister's good name.
Then again, I suppose there's a first time for everything.... Nice to meet you, Blood Spectre!
Hitting someone for words is stupid.
Reminds me of the road rage stupidties, where people feel they have a right to brutally bash people who are rude to them on road. People choosingto escalate with volience are often making a idiot choice.
I'm amazed you have never meet anyone who has been sensbile enough to ignore some unimportant nobody's opinion about family members they never have met. -

About a year ago they gave everyone a bonus global name change, so If your cousin changed your global toon name before then you should have another global name change.

I'll add my anecdotal data that the LoTG doesnt count for the limit of 5 x 5.75
You can 5 x LoTG plus 5 x set bonues of 5.75. Though only tested with the 5 x set bonus plus a couple of LoTG's -
Quote:Maybe update the ingame help files and have the IO tutorial refer to it.In theory, yes. In practice, there are so many details like this that the tutorial would have so much text the vast majority of people would not read any of it.
You lose your set bonuses if you exemp more than 3 levels below the level of the IO.
Some uniques act like set bonuses and some don't, but you lose the bonus if you lose the power.
Except purples, where you never lose the bonus.
Unless you do an Ouro arc with the 'No Enhancements' challenge setting.
ugh.
In an ideal world, all this stuff should be in the ingame help. The less there is, the less people bother to check ingame help.
Quote:The basic problem is the same one encountered with just about any consumer product. Most people do not read the manual until they encounter a problem that forces them to do so. The Devs could add an NPC that explains everything in excruciating detail but however it's implemented most people will not bother to read it until they encounter something that they can't figure out on their own.
While I agree that it would be good if this stuff was documented in game for complicated subjects like this reading about it on a wiki (with links and cross-referencing) is easier than trying to read NPC dialog in game anyway.
Theres a big difference between people not caring to find read the manual to the manual not having the information for people who do read it.
Regardless of what prompts someone to read the manual (at first or when they encouter a problem), the infomation still needs to be there. -

Quote:The griefers would leave postitive rep with nasty comments.Dispari, I agree. I enjoy reading the comments I get, either way. Especially as a novice poster in these forums, the comments are both encouraging and informative. And some of it has been fun (scapperlock lore abound!).
I don't know if this is a feasible technical solution or not, but perhaps doing away with neg rep entirely while keeping positive rep will reduce the number of comments that cross the forum guidelines. This would be nice to have, although it seems that the forum software likely does not provide for exclusively removing neg rep and comment while keeping and displaying positive rep.
How much grief there was, and how much was over sentistive responces that took up mod time is an unknown.
Having seen the tales of woe and distress over very simple and non-mean comments about MA stories, I'm betting that the term griefer is used by people who dont know what that word means. -
Aussie heroes also know 'thats not a knife'

I think costumes codes much better idea than yet more tailor tokens.

I resigned myself to not getting the banner badges. Too much work for the times I play.
Easy enough to find a team, but a single team couldn't do it.
A lot of my toons already had the costume badges from last year, which felt a whole lot easier to do then than now. -

Quote:Short and accurate version: Mods are fed up looking over reports from people who can't handle anonymous feedback that can be disabled, which might that might be trolls, or might be people voicing a disenting opinion to them.Find the "Forum Trolls Beware" thread in City Life for redname posts.

I call photoshop on more than few of those.
